Had a very unpleasant visit this morning at this location. We went to grab two items which resulted…read morein about a 30-45 minute checkout because Mona was unable to do her job properly. We were as patient as we could be in the beginning because we assumed she was new until we noticed that there was a mistake with the transaction. We asked for our money back and she told us to "be patient" and continued to be impatient with us. She sounded like she was on the verge of tears and her coworker was no help at all. All of this over a coupon, an argument and not even a correct transaction. We asked for the original receipt in case the money wasn't refunded to my card, but she refused and we were told to come back if it wasn't refunded and that she will remember us and that she works 7 days a week. Safe to say I'm NEVER going to the Munster location again, you're better off going to the GNC in Schererville.

The salad bar is also half the size it used to be, but I went and was hungry and thought - I could grab fast food OR something healthier here. SO I chose this. The meatloaf appears often and it's pretty decent - but the star of the show on this HOT bar is always the VEGGIES - all different and always prepared differently. The salad bar is still a decent option - now none of this is CHEAP, but it's fresh. I do like how you can take your food outside on the tables in the sun to eat when it's a nice day. There used to be counter stools and options inside, but those are now gone. The employees are the register are super friendly and helpful. However, I don't think the employees working in the bakery/food area are very personable. They come and fill something up, but do it sloppy and don't engage with the customer.
