She was able to make the changes to my dress in about 2 working days which is probably unusual but I needed to fly back home to Chicago. Not only did I receive my dress back in perfect shape, I also had this added stress removed from my plate as I was nervous about the finished look! I would recommend Elaine to any and everyone. You may have to let the phone ring a bit to get a response but she is worth the wait!!!

My family and I booked a trip from out of state just to do the luxury wine tour this company offers…read morehowever the address of the meet up location was unclear and not provided until 2 days before the tour departure. The address of the winery is what is provided before purchasing and this was the address used for booking our stay. By the time the meet up address was sent my party had already booked and fully paid for our Airbnb which was close to the winery but 75 miles from the new meet up location. We were at the winery on time and even called to speak with someone but got no answer. When I did get in touch with them via email for a refund I was told I should have called or met them at the winery... but by then the entire brunch would have been missed! Just be careful when purchasing tickets and traveling from out of of state you should try to contact them to get the correct address before paying

Not my personal experience with a dress, but I overheard a friend on the phone with Lula. The…read morefriend had bought her daughter's prom dress in January from Lula's and was told that it would take 1 week for alterations. Thought it would be done with plenty of time to spare before prom. In April, a week and a half before prom, it still wasn't done. I have honestly never heard a more rude business owner on the phone speaking to a customer. It took a full 5 minutes for Lula and other store employees to even locate the dress after being given the name of the customer and a description of the dress. She kept making excuses for why the alterations weren't done, saying she had so many dresses to alter that they alter them in order of prom date. That's why this dress was bought in January, to avoid the prom rush! She also could not give an estimated time that the dress would be done, just kept saying "not this week, I'll get to it next week"- the week of prom. Not only did Lula not follow through on the work that was supposed to be done, but she was extremely rude and condescending when she was questioned about it. I will not ever be using this business and I will steer everyone I know clear from it as well. Completely unprofessional.

The valets were so kind and helped all of my elderly guests in and out of their vehicles. Also, they get bonus points for having umbrellas! I have used valet companies for past events and the companies were not nearly as flexible. I was able to specify where I wanted guests to be picked up/dropped off and I even asked that they change that location once it started raining. Their great customer service never skipped a beat. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for valet or transportation services. I rarely take the time to consider (let alone review) a valet company's performance, but they really did go above and beyond. 10/10 highly recommend. P.S. they offer executive transportation too. My friends use them and they always have very kind, personable drivers and very clean luxury SUV's.

I called the front desk after we arrived in our room to report that the wine glass was used and…read morestill had leftover wine in the glass. The bottles of water were open and half empty. And part of the window was on the floor in the bedroom. The front desk person said they would let the morning manager know in the AM. I called again in the morning and spoke with the front desk. I had to ask what they were going to do about it. He was able to reduce the room cost. It is still disappointing as it was only suggested for a different room after I had called twice and we had slept there. And no one came to replace the used glasses and water. This is not an inexpensive hotel- service was very poor.

We stayed at this hotel during our wedding weekend and were very disappointed in the accommodations…read moreand the service. The lighting in the hotel room (even with the curtains open) is awful; I had to sit in my car to have enough lighting to do my makeup. It's a small room with no frills which seems incongruent with the price. A friend tried to send us a bottle of champagne and had to speak with four hotel employees to make that happen. And, most concerningly, twice we were out of the room and although we had the do not disturb sign on the knob an employee entered the room unauthorized, once to get ALL the towels in the room (we had to call to get them replaced when we noticed upon return hours later) and once to get the pair of sherry glasses left on the bedside table. All, again, without our permission. We absolutely won't stay here again and I would recommend looking at other luxury hotels in the area instead.
