I have to say ALL of the people in this area, were so nice! A gentleman at the local gas station looked at it. He asked 2 20-somethings in a quad to look at it and they called a brother, who brought a chain, but the consensus was I need a "lift" not just a tow, so the group decided I should call Rons Towing. While I waited for the truck, another gentleman stopped to make sure I was ok and Craig called me, half way through my original wait time to update me that he was on his way. I was told "Ron is sort of expensive", but for after hours on a rainy night and less than a 30 minute wait time, I was elated to pay $75 for the service. I couldn't possibly have gotten stuck in a more remote or hospitable location. Cudo's to the people of Jackson, OH!

I cannot in good faith recommend this shop, but I especially cannot recommend it to anyone lacking…read moreat least moderate car knowledge. If you choose to come here, you risk them performing unneeded work on your car without informing you of the extra cost, up-charging you 65% on parts, and acting unprofessional and defensive when politely confronted about it. For context, I came in with my car which I specifically mentioned was coding for its mass air flow sensor. They performed a smoke test that cost $100, which was entirely unnecessary, as the problem turned out to be an easily detectable 2-inch hole in the air intake hose (you could fit about four fingers into it). I paid $169 dollars for a replacement hose after their 65% up-charge. Additionally, they performed a $50 throttle engine cleaning that I did not request. I paid for two and a half hours of labor, but upon returning to question the process and the cost of the work, I was shown the entirety of the fix, which only took about fifteen minutes. In the end, they begrudgingly refunded me $100 of my $450 bill. My check engine light is back on less than a week later, coding for the mass air flow sensor yet again.
