Unfortunately, my hair suffered some heat damage that I believe was due the the techniques they used to straighten my hair. I didn't notice any heat protectant being used and they did multiple passes through my hair with a flat iron and hot comb. They also didn't fully detangle my hair when it was wet so there was pulling and snagging when they did the blow dry. Overall, it left damage and some of my hair won't revert to its curls at all. There are stringy, permanently straight pieces of hair amidst the curls, which is a telltale sign of heat damage for my hair type. It's disappointing that there are various sections of my hair that feel stringy and broken by this process. I absolutely loved the friendless of the stylist and I want this family (mom+daughter) business to succeed, but I needed to give an honest report of how the health of my hair suffered.
