Customer beware of this repair shop and AAA Corporate Support…read more Our vehicle died while traveling through Phoenix from out of town. We had it towed to this repair shop specifically because we believed an AAA Corporate-Owned Repair Center would provide reliable service. Their diagnosis was that the transmission needed to be replaced. We authorized the expensive purchase and installation of a "New Dealer Transmission with a 1 Year, 12K Mile Warranty." Fast-forward "15 months and 12,196 miles", and a loud noise suddenly developed while driving. Three local independent shops inspected the vehicle and identified the transmission as the source of the problem. The same major repair we had just paid for was failing again. AAA Auto Repair Center in Phoenix told me the repair was out of warranty and that any further repairs were entirely my responsibility. I escalated to AAA Customer Support and after multiple inquiries, received the same answer. I understand that it was 3 months and 196 miles out of warranty by the letter of the paperwork. But that is far from the level of customer support I expect as a long-time AAA member on such an expensive repair. AAA certainly has the buying power with the dealer/manufacturer to stand behind a brand new transmission that is "just barely" out of warranty, right? I'm sure AAA can appreciate how frustrating this is for a loyal customer. I chose a AAA-owned repair center (not just certified/recommended, but an actual shop owned by AAA) expecting quality service and accountability. Instead, zero responsibility taken by the shop or AAA Corporate. Furthermore, the local shop we hired now the second time around provided a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty to rebuild it. Buyer beware.

If you want your brand-new car to come back looking like a used one, this is the place to go…read more My car was damaged by a dangling power line -- the roof paint was scraped, and the sunroof needed to be replaced. While the paint and sunroof work look decent, the condition my car was returned in was nothing short of embarrassing. Every window inside the vehicle, including the rearview mirror, was coated in a strange film or haze that wouldn't come off with normal cleaning. The clip for my sun visor was broken -- I went to move it, and the entire visor fell down. The in-car microphone was left disconnected, and some kind of glue, paint, or paste was smeared all on both the driver and passenger seats. On top of that, there were dirty handprints all over my tan headliner. When I complained, I was told to bring the vehicle back so they could clean up their mess. I reluctantly agreed. Upon pickup, I was told my car had gone through a quality check *and* a follow-up quality check by the manager. Based on what I saw, they must have a very different definition of "quality." The haze was still present on the windows -- an employee even admitted they had no idea what it was and that it was "extremely hard to get off." (Let's be real: you know what it is. You just don't want to say.) They did manage to clean the substance off my seats, and they reconnected the microphone and repaired the visor. However, the car was returned with more dirty fingerprints on the headliner, and a section of it wasn't even clipped in -- my husband had to fix it himself. After a couple of days driving it, I noticed that the rearview mirror mount was either scratched or had some kind of substance on it, too. Their attention to cleanliness and detail is extremely poor. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. The only reason I went there is because Bell Honda said they use this shop for repairs on new vehicles. I also had a warranty issue for a rattling window -- which they claimed they couldn't replicate. Would not recommend this shop.

BEWARE! I purchased…read morea 2025 Tesla Cybertruck from Arizona Best Cars on August 18. Before I ever went to the dealership, I specifically asked by phone whether the Cybertruck had a clean title. I was told yes. During the test drive, I asked again whether the vehicle had a clean title. I was again told yes. I subsequently discovered that the vehicle had actually been repurchased by Tesla and carried a permanent Lemon Law Buyback title history. During closing, I was handed a document described simply as "the buyback disclosure." There was no meaningful explanation of why Tesla had repurchased the vehicle or of the underlying defects. More importantly, the form stated that I had received a separate manufacturer disclosure detailing the buyback history and corrected defects. That manufacturer disclosure was not provided to me. The dealership also presented a Kelley Blue Book valuation showing the Cybertruck worth approximately $82,000. I later obtained the actual financing documents from Capital One, which contain the same KBB valuation for this VIN. Nothing on the face of that valuation indicates an adjustment for the vehicle's Lemon Law Buyback history. After discovering the title history, I returned to the dealership on August 27 and asked why Tesla had bought the truck back. I was told it was essentially because of a door panel vibration/rattle. I asked for the documentation. Only then--nine days after I purchased the vehicle--was I given Tesla's actual Warranty Buyback Notice for the first time. It showed considerably more than a rattling door. Tesla's notice identified: * Interior Panel concern * Driver Assistance concern * Safety Restraint System concern It also showed repairs including replacement of the vehicle's car computer and other components. I asked Arizona Best Cars to unwind the transaction. They refused and instead offered to take the vehicle back as a trade, requiring me to absorb the financial loss. At this point, I am preserving the documentation surrounding this transaction and preparing formal complaints for review by the Arizona Department of Transportation Office of Inspector General and the Arizona Attorney General Consumer Protection Division. ADOT's Office of Inspector General specifically investigates complaints involving licensed automobile dealers and title-related issues, and the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division reviews complaints concerning deceptive or unfair practices. Those agencies can determine whether what occurred here complied with Arizona law. If you are considering purchasing from this dealership, do not rely solely on verbal representations about title status, vehicle history, or value. Independently verify the title, obtain the manufacturer's complete buyback documentation before signing anything, and retain copies of every document presented to you. Anyone who has experienced similar issues with an Arizona automobile dealer should preserve their contracts, advertisements, title records, valuation documents, text messages, and other evidence and consider using Arizona's official consumer and dealer complaint processes.
