We had a great time with this group. They were the only ones he would do 2 buses to bring our entire group. The buses were clean and good. Our driver was Rob and he did the job right. Kept us on schedule. Took us to some great breweries. No issues at all and would recommend these guys.

We had a great time on our Fountain Square distillery tour! We picked the stops and they set everything up for us. All we had to do was board the bus and have a great time! Rob,the owner, responded quickly to any questions we had. Our driver,Carlos, was awesome! He made everything smooth and fun. He even took photos for us.

Best part of the 50th birthday celebration was the party bus rental with top shelf. Our driver, Tim, was punctual, kind, kept our destinations a surprise from the bday boy, and he was a good driver. We all enjoyed our time in the bus singing out tunes from the past (think Tim enjoyed our selection as well). We had so much fun that we will all be getting together and doing one of their brewery tours in the future. Top shelf = top notch

I see plenty of 5 star reviews, and I believe legitimately people have a great time on their brewery tours and party bus excursions. My 3 stars is about expectation of advertisement versus service sold. My group purchased groupons for the brewery tour, which says: "We're going to spend between 35-45 minutes at each brewery to allow you to not feel rushed at each stop. We want you to be able to sit back and enjoy your samples, then buy a pint of your favorites and refill your growlers while you're there." Based on that description, our group of four anticipated that samples would be part of the tour. Not (necessarily) so. Here's an overview of how the day went: We arrived at Sun King a little before noon. Our group inquired with the hostess if she knew anything about Top Shelf Tours or what to expect. She told us the driver would come inside, although I'm pretty sure she was just guessing. He didn't. Pretty soon a white bus showed up outside. After sitting there a few minutes, I went out and asked if he was our driver. Yep indeed. I said, "ok, I'll go back and tell our group." He said ok! Shortly after that, our group hopped on the bus along with 8 others. The driver gave us each a sticker to identify us as being a part of a Top Shelf Tours group. Cool. We thought that might mean something. It didn't, at least not in terms of a perk for us; more like advertising for them I think. The driver closed the doors, jammed to his music (good taste by the way), and drove us to our first stop: St. Joseph's Brewery. I'll review St. Joseph separately. Suffice to say: the bar tender looked at us, said he didn't know anything about our tour, but they don't do anything special for groups, and they wouldn't be offering samples to our group. We were welcome to "try something" if we wanted to, but nothing different than an average bar customer. Feeling a bit misled, I called Rob from Top Shelf Tours, and he told me that he keeps St Joseph on the tour list because of the neat architecture, and "it's hard to keep up with what each of the breweries will offer" to his tour groups. I quoted his website about "enjoying samples" and suggested he provide more of a description for truth in advertisement. Help your customers know what to expect. My crew's question at that point was: how will this tour be better than/different than us having crafted our own downtown circuit and Lyfted from one place to another? The consensus among the four of us was: not much. The driver texted us whenever we had ten minutes before the bus was supposed to head to the next stop. I poked fun with him via text, and he was a good sport. However, he really didn't know much about the breweries he was taking us to. On our way to the second brewery, someone asked him: "what's next?" He knew it was "center something... center line... center mark..." then everyone on the bus started chanting possible "center" names. It was Centerpoint, and they gave us one of the best experiences of the day. I'll review them separately, too. We got another "10 minute warning," and soon were escorted to Garfield Brewing, which was a smaller brewery more than happy to offer a nice group experience, and finally, we were taken to Two-Deep, who also knew we were coming and had a sampling experience ready for us. Here's my final take. Top Shelf Tours will provide a very nice shuttle service between breweries. I think it's very overstated as a "tour." The history of craft brewing in IN is super cool; it would have made an awesome tour if our driver knew something about the breweries, their histories, the kinds of beers they are known for, interesting facts about the architecture, and why Top Shelf thinks that the brewery is a worthy stop on their tour. Then again, I was thinking "tour." If you're not thinking "tour" and just want to go have a great time visiting multiple breweries, you will have fun. I mean, there is still plenty of good beer and food available (bring $), and if you like your friends, there's no reason you shouldn't have a great time. We did, but next time, we'd probably just Lyft. The bus was nice, but there were only 4 of us. We got our tickets off Groupon, so it wasn't a bad deal, just not what we had expected or really hoped for.

Our group had a great time with Top Shelf Tours. We took a bus from Downtown to a Thomas Rhett concert at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. Carlos was a great driver

We rented a 4 hour private winery tour bus and our experience could not have been better! Carlos was our driver and was incredibly polite, respectful and thoughtful. He helped us stay on schedule but was so flexible when some construction altered our timeline. This was the highlight of the bachelorette weekend! I also had several conversations with the company owner, Rob who was equally as kind and helpful. 5 star service all around and I will certainly do a tour with them again! Thank you!!

Since our Dawgs won, we kept going to the wee hours of the night and Carlos had no problem in how late we stayed out.

No yak milk (booo!), but there is wine. However, I must warn all of the people who prefer dry wine:…read moreThere is no dry wine here. It's all sweet. Even the driest of the wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon, is very sweet. So, if you love sweet wines, this place is for you! Right now, they are only pouring a Cabernet, a red blend, a Riesling and a sweet Rose. The grapes are imported, but Woolley Yak has their own vineyard, and the intention is that they will soon start producing wine from their own grapes. You can get a flight of wine, or a glass of wine, or a mimosa, and then you can take your wine outside with you as you explore the grounds. There are picnic benches here and there. There's also a food truck that sells four different types of grilled cheese sandwiches and handheld charcuterie cups. I think food is only available Friday through Sunday, though. I visited with children (well, a teen and an almost tween), but they are a good hang and will play on a playground with the best of them, so we headed straight for the nature play space. The playground was designed to encourage kids to engage in unstructured play, so it has a lot of natural elements all around, like tree stumps, hay bales and logs. My kids are "co-op kids" for life (their early years were spent at a nature-based cooperative preschool), so they thrive with this type of playground. There's also a tire mound to climb, a balance beam to balance on, and a basketball shooting station made from a grain wagon. There's lots of space to run around, and a few trees to climb, too. The big draw of Woolly Yak is the yaks! There are also Babydoll Southdown sheep, Kunekune pigs and chickens that live on the ranch. You can just sit on a bench and watch these animals do their things in their living spaces. Or, if you want a more up-close experience, you can purchase a ticket to one of the animal experiences, like storytime with sheep or tea with lambs. You can also experience brushing the yaks and giving them treats. If you didn't want to do any of those experiences, though, you could just visit the ranch to see the animals for free! There is no admission to enter the ranch or to park. It's a nice place to visit to stroll around and see what you can see.

Decided to check out this new winery that just opened a few miles past Cicero. Since the winery is…read morenew they only had 5 wines (should be getting more in a few weeks) to taste. I will say these are sweet wines so if you're a dry wine person I would go to see the Yaks, not drink the wine. But I love the concept of grabbing a glass or a bottle walking around the grounds and visiting the Yak pen. There is a beautiful pond on site along with a food truck and some picnic tables, which is perfect for an afternoon outside to relax and enjoy nature. The website mentioned sheep, chickens, and pigs, (as well as Yaks) I only saw the pigs and Yaks while I was there however I did not inquire about the other animals, So if you're going for the animals you may want to call as I'm not sure if the other animals are only out certain times.
