I got to see Brian in action. He packaged my aunt's furniture by wrapping it up like swaddling a baby. Things were moved carefully and got to the new house in one piece. This was a smooth and pleasant transaction. They work all 7 days!

I was informed that that had been some mistakes made in the estimate and the price was increased. I do believe it was some $1200. On the day of the move. A box truck arrived, and I asked about the semi and he told me that they were going to repack at a different location. Well, that seemed kind of odd because I was told that I would not have half of a semi of material and now I'm being told that it's going to be more so now that he's telling me it's gonna be more he's pointing fingers back at the people I talked to at the company and the company is pointing the finger back at him telling me to both wrong, but of course he's not gonna do anything until I pay him an additional fee I was looking for the semi that they had told me was going to be not quite half field with my belongings when the movers arrived I was informed by the supervisor that this would be more than had expected, and that the area would be more than a half of a semi, but they came with a rental truck that was maybe 24 feet box truck pack this truck at my home and go to the semi and they rit well in the day of the rival on 11 August I was told that they wanted the final payment and it could not be a personal check. It could not be credit card or debit card. It had to be in postal money orders so now I'm on my way to the post office for money orders for some over $4000. Once the movers start bringing the belongings in I see that I have been charged for additional packing and their packaging was and I have photos taking wardrobe boxes and just piling things in on top of each other. No packing material no nothing just pile it in a wardrobe box tape it up and I had several boxes this way and charged for additional packing. This was a nightmare you wouldn't believe but , I'm told that moving is one of the most difficult things that you do well I have moved several times in my life. This is the worst, it could not have been worse. I have other folks property in with my shipment and I am missing several boxes that I packed. I guess you should never say it couldn't have been worse, but it was terrible. Cross country Movers has a number of moving companies that just aresimply called Cross country Movers but my Movers came out of Maryland, and as I said, it could not have been worse. Anyone using this company after I write this review you get what you get. PS I have a new phone and the photos are on a thumb drive. If I can figure out a way to get them off the thumb drive onto the review I will place them there.

I would be very hesitant to recommend this business to anyone…read more Nick, the person I worked with, is very kind but my issue is with how the whole system and process is done. I feel like he did everything he could have done but I was still left with a fairly stressful situation. I coordinated with USA Auto Transport in May to do a July pickup for my car to bring it from Virginia to Oregon. Price was fair (about $1800) and I was able to select a 3 day window for pick up. We decided on July 5th - July 7th. My plan was to fly out early July 8th or late July 7th depending on pickup time. On paper this was a perfect schedule. July 5th comes and I hadnt heard anything from the driver yet so I called USA Auto Transport and spoke with one of Nick's colleagues who let me know the driver would call me when theyre about an hour away. I thought that was perfect since it gave me time to still to errands while waiting for the driver. In the afternoon of July 6th while Im working with my household goods mover, Nick calls me and lets me know that theyre not able pick up my car anymore. I asked if it was a money issue or a time issue and he said hes unsure why. That's not really something you want to hear less than 48 hours before youre supposed to fly out across country. He tried working with their logistics teams and drivers to see what happened but we never got a clear answer. His initial advice to me was that he recommended I leave my car in Virginia with someone (not really an option since I dont have anyone Im close enough with to watch my car) or find a new company to ship. Again - with less than 48 hours before my cross county move I was told to find a new vendor. Let that sit with you. In fairness to Nick he did try to get me another date to ship my car but I would be long gone from Virginia by then. I ended up having to quickly call half a dozen businesses before they closed for the day to see if someone could ship my car. To say this was stressful is an understatement. In the end I have to pay almost double for another company to ship my car. Their employees are nice but please, save yourself the headache of a last minute cancellation.

So I had some bad experiences in the past with other shipping companies and decided to give these…read moreguys a try after speaking with their rep (Nick) and getting a very positive feeling in their answers. I was quoted a price and pickup / delivery for having my vehicle picked up in Phoenix, AZ and dropped off in Herndon, VA. I was called the day before the pickup by their office and told the driver would pickup the car in the morning and the driver would call me about an hour before to confirm. Call came in the morning and the driver showed up shortly after, inspected the vehicle, loaded it on the trailer and told me the date it would be in Virginia. I booked my flight and low and behold the driver called me on the morning of the promised delivery date to let me know he would be there in an hour. Vehicle dropped off and we both inspected it To make sure all was good (and also confirmed mileage so I could see it was not driven anywhere in between). I was going down to work for 6 months and shipping the vehicle would have been much cheaper then renting a vehicle or using Uber. Six months later I reached out to them and even though pricing had gone up do to driver shortages / rising gas prices and other factors they told me they would honour the old pricing. Reverse order of all above and my car was back safe and sound on the day promised. Such good communication both from Nick the rep and their office and also from the driver and all the stress was taken off my shoulders using them. Other companies will fool you by quoting lower and then charging you more after or the driver will simply not show up at all. Save yourself both heartache and headache and use these guys. I rarely leave reviews but the exemplary service I received prompted me to make sure I did!!

I completed a Moving Quote Request on a Saturday, and they called me on Monday with some questions. Andrew was very friendly and professional. My move included moving furniture from White Marsh to Mount Washington, with a stop in Timonium to drop off and pick up more items. A three stop move with lots of stairs at each location was quoted at $750. This was reasonable since I had anticipated spending about $1,000. Their window for a Friday move date was between 10-12. They called when they were about 20 minutes away and met me promptly at 10 AM. Four guys in a huge truck arrived and got right to work. Within half an hour we were on our way to the second stop to drop off a bed and retrieve the rest of the furniture. Off we went to the third and final stop to unload everything. I was nervous about large items fitting up a narrow stairwell, but the guys assured me that if I had measured right, they would have it all fitting in the apartment in no time. That they did. When everything was unloaded, the driver went over the listed items and made sure everything on the list had been moved and put in the apartment. The price quoted was the price I paid, and they were done in exactly two hours. I tipped each guy in cash and felt a huge sense of relief when they drove away - knowing moving day was successful and complete. Great customer service and fast and efficient movers.
