They provided information on the doors and parts needed, and they explained the whole process. The same went for the wrap, all of my options were laid out and they provided detailed information about each product (lifespan, durability, etc.). They trailered my car to their facility, provided updates when I asked, and brought the car back a day early. Now, I am very particular about my car and every little detail, and I can say that their customer service was outstanding any time I needed a slight adjustment. I will definitely be sending my car back this spring for more wrap work. There is nobody I trust more to work on my car than Karisa and Dash.

I stood there for probably 15 minutes before I went into the garage area, which I felt awkward doing, but I wanted to let someone know I was there since I was on a bit of a time crunch. I was seen probably 25 minutes after my appointment time and the window tint is not nearly as dark as I would want it. Overall, not the happiest with how they turned out but it's not bad I guess. I also asked to use the restroom which is a shared restroom with the other shops down a dirty hallway and upon entering the bathroom, there were no paper towels or toilet paper so I didn't even use it. It didn't look like it had been cleaned in quite a while.

Stay Away. If you do have a issue and say you are going to leave a review Cole will threaten to sue…read moreyou for slander. I brought my car in for window tint. (02/16/23) (I had just bought this car on 02/13/23. One owner 30k mile car.) I had talked with Cole over the phone a couple times and was told $250.00 to tint my car. When I got there we looked at the different tints available and I picked out the ceramic tint at a slightly higher cost. I was told 400 for a ceramic tint on all windows but front windshield. Well almost 2 hours into tinting my car Cole came out and said it was going to be a extra 100 because the car had been tinted before. He went on about how dealers often remove tint before selling cars. (I have since contacted the dealer and have been told this car was never tinted and they never removed any.) So with my car help hostage and now he wont let me change back to the 250 tint I am stuck paying 500.00. Well when I got the car back I was now late for a appointment because it took another hour to get done. Shortly after I left I noticed some parts to my car in the back seat and upon looking closely at the tint there seemed to be many flaws. I then called Cole and asked about the parts not put back on and the flaws. He asked me to come right back so he could take care of the issues. When I got back he looked at the car and told me that it was to industry stranded and he would quickly put it back together and removed what he said was glue from one window. That night I took a very close look at my car. the way he gave it back was just unacceptable. It took me over 3 hours to clean all the streaks and foot prints out of my car. There are flaws with EVERY window. When trying to talk with Cole about this I had called them cuts in the tint. I guess there are called creases. (Don't get the wrong or he will threaten to sue you for slander) He did offer to redo only 2 windows saying once again that it's to industry standard. I have asked for a refund from him multiple times now and he just refuses. It is going to cost over 500 now to have this all removed and redone and another establishment. I will also be talking to the MN Attorney General about the good faith estimate and the 100 charge while my car was held hostage. I have filled a BBB complaint and will be fillings them everywhere I can and post this review every where I can. I will also update it.

At the time I did know he was the "manager" I went outside to look at it all but the windshield had some scratches on it. Mind you I worked at a competitors shop with wraps window tinting ceramic coating you name it. I was a quality control/ product ordering manager for them. So I know what "cut" windows from tinting looks like. I went back inside still no apologies for how long it was taking nothing. the receptionist asked if everything was ok I told him what I saw a lady that was at the desk with him got up and went to get the manager. he came to the front and asked what was wrong I told him. We went out side I showed him the scratches. he said the only reason they were visible now was because of how dark the tint is. Turned around and went back inside. still no acknowledgment about how long it took or anything. I then talked to the receptionist again. He asked me if the manager took care of everything. I told him no said that nothing was wrong and it was because of the how dark the tint was. At this point the manager didn't introduce himself to a new customer acted like had done nothing wrong and look like he was more irritated about what has happened instead of taking care of the customer Mind you still no apology. I paid for a job that was half a$$3d and by the manager no less. I then left not satisfied with the work more irritated than anything. Kinda explains what took soon long with the tint. It shouldn't take but a couple of hours to do the job and by a "manager" probably less time. I'm wondering if he was trying to fix his screw up in the time. Got a text a day later asking to leave a comment about my service. Did so it was negative of course. Later that day I got another text from someone named sunny. Told them what had happened they asked if I could take pictures of the windows in doing so I had noticed now my rear passenger headrest was sitting kind of funny went to go adjust it and put it back down in doing so it came off the posts. Im now line wtf seriously not only had this guy cut up my windows he destroyed the head rest also. Before they say oh that was done previously no It actually wasnt. No body rides in the back I have no reason to move the head rest at all. Sent pictures told sunny about this crickets now they were so quick to try to help and now I was ghosted. Its Wednesday now when sunny was texting me. Gave them till Monday the 27th still no word so I texted sunny back Tuesday the 28th still nothin. So frustrated about this not on am I out 5 very expensive windows now I have to order the headrest from Germany that going to cost 500+ shipping and taxes. Thanks suncontrol first and last time going there.

(Dark Windshield Tint Requires Medical Exemption at Sun Control)…read more I honestly couldn't recommend a better place to get your windows tinted in Minnesota. I went to Tint World first, and they quoted me $992 "after discounts" for the same package I got here at Sun Control for a much better price. That alone made me feel good about my decision, but the experience sealed the deal. This isn't my first time coming here--on my last car, I got their entry-level tint, which was decent for adding some privacy. But this time, I went with XPEL XR Prime Plus, and the difference is insane. If you've looked into XPEL, you already know it's top-tier and comes with great benefits, but what really stood out was the team at Sun Control. They're super easy to work with, clearly focused on making sure you're happy, and they had my whole car done in about 3 hours, including the front and back windshields. What really impressed me was their attention to detail. My car has a third brake light that's inside the rear windshield. Without me even asking, they hand-cut the tint, and it looks perfect--like it came from the factory that way. No rough edges, no misalignment, just clean and precise work, leaving the light bright and visible. That level of care isn't something you get everywhere, and it makes a huge difference. I can see other shops disregarding something like this; and I wouldn't even have noticed. I did a ton of research before getting my tint done and came across a lot of horror stories from other places, so I was a little nervous going in. But Sun Control absolutely delivered, and now I've got nothing but a great experience to share. I seriously think this is the best place in the state for tint. Plus, they back it up--a 2-year warranty on their work, and the film itself has a lifetime warranty. If anything happens, they fix it at the shop, no hassle. If you're looking for a place that does quality work at a fair price without the runaround, this is it.

Progressive Insurance sent me here for a hail damage inspection…read more When I initially arrived the employee who was just opening up the shop seemed surprised to see me. He said the Progressive hadn't notified him that I would be coming. Even with that set back things got set in motion pretty quickly. He reached out to the technician who would be doing my inspection. The technician happened to be running late, but upon his arrival he wrapped up the inspection very quickly. Progressive had me block out an 8am-9am time slot on my calendar and I was out of there by 8:45am! The technician was super friendly. He chatted with me for about 10 minutes after he completed the inspection. He walked me through what points caused him to achieve his end results, and also gave me some advice on auto body issues unrelated to the incident. I was going to be giving this place a two or three star review due to how the experience started, but the efficiency and friendliness of the technician really turned the whole scenario around!
