So happy! Rob is a really cool guy. Was nice to sit and chat with him while he worked on my car. His garage is very neat and professional, he even has a small waiting area where you can sit and watch tv. As for the tinting, it looks amazing! His attention to detail is crazy. I know for sure he wouldn't let me leave if he wasn't happy with the work, he even redid one of the windows he wasn't happy with. The whole process took maybe an hour. The worst part was he refused to accept a tip for his work (which he 100% deserved). Will definitely be back if I have a need for tinting again!

    Looking pretty.

As good as it gets. Looks exceptional, wasn't rushed and he didn't leave soapy mayhem running down the door. Rob has mastered his craft. The tinting material itself is excellent, my car was a hotbox with the factory tint. I'm riding in comfort now.

Rob is a true professional, he responded quickly to my request for a quote and beat the prices I was quoted by three other shops around the Twin Cites. He was waiting for me outside when I showed up for my appointment and proceeded to explain all my options as well as show me examples of different tints. His garage is set up as a business and has a little "waiting" area with a TV where you can watch him work, or you can walk down the street to the Tiny Diner and have some lunch or a cocktail on the patio. I'll go back to rob for any of my future tinting or vinyl wrapping needs, he's gained a lifelong customer.

Rob did a great job removing my old 35% tint and replacing it with 5% tint all around... I'll never go anywhere else again!

What's the cost to wrap a Chevrolet Malibu, nothing fancy just a plain royal blue or any dark color?

Hey Padmini, thanks for the question! Prices vary from car to car. Need to know what year your Malibu is for an accurate quote, but ballpark you’re looking at around $2500

Rob's service was referred to me by a friend who had his RV windows tinted at Bing's and highly recommend him.

I went in for a window tinting, to include and ceramic coating. Because they were backed up they took over 4 days for this service. Upon picking up my vehicle, I immediately noticed scratches on the paint. I was slightly annoyed because they called me multiple times after the car was ready to ask when I was coming to pick it up. Only for me to see that the car was not inspected and ready to be delivered. They ended up giving me a discount to make it right and offered to redo. I accepted and was grateful for the acknowledgment. While their services may take longer than I expected, they offer a rental car or Uber service. They end result looked great however I am concerned that no paperwork work warranty is offered. They have areas of improvement for a professional business but the quality of work appears to be great. As suggestions, I would suggest a legit drop off process. When I dropped my car off, no one even asked for my name or phone number. When I picked the car up, I was told about a warranty but not given a detailed receipt or any warranty documents. I had to request this.

It is mechanically sound, it has only 26,800 miles on the odometer and its factory fire-engine-red paint looks to be unfaded. At age 90, I'm sure it will outlast me I had my first accident earlier this winter, and it was nasty. A chunk of ice left by a snowplow got trapped under my front bumper cover and split it six ways from Sunday. Attached pix show the BEFORE and AFTER left-side split--the right-side damage was twice as bad (sorry, the BEFORE pic won't upload). Two indie body shops would replace the bump cover and paint it for $1,000. As I drove to Oscar Auto Body for a third estimate, I pretty much figured it would come in with a $1K replacement, too. Owner Ramin Hakimi did, but then he suggested another way. He would weld the splits from the underside of the cover and brush-touch the paint. "You'll be able to see the tiny seam where the splits meet," he said,' but the casual observer won't notice any difference." Cost? $370. This plan's potential savings led me to show Ramin some surface damage to my rear bump cover, incurred some time ago when I backed into a brick wall too low to see. He'd take care of this cosmetic damage for $89 (Collision Bonilla wanted $700!). Attached pix shows AFTER. I chose to have both front and rear ends done, and I couldn't be happier with the work done, including the paint match. My choice made Ramin happy, too, because as an environmentalist he hates having to trash big pieces of fiberglass (his shop was one of the first in the city to transition to water-based or low-volatile organic compound (low-VOC) paint). I went to a family gathering last Sunday. I pulled into the driveway behind my brother, a perfectionist mechanical engineer. Walking over to my Civic, he said, "I see you decided to pop for a new bumper cover." Nuff said. Finally, I want to say that I wholeheartedly agree with the many online reviewers who found Ramin extraordinary. He is forthright and will give you his undivided personal attention as well as a more-than-fair price. He did not patronize me as so often happens with women drivers or discount my input because of my advanced age. We all want an honest estimator, and Ramin Hakimi is IT. Re photos, unfortunately I don't have Before pix of right front damage, which had worse bump cover splits than left front. No Before pix of rear either.
