(deep clean) Im only giving them 2 stars because the communication with the owner was excellent but I will never book with them again. I asked for a deep clean which was suppose to include kitchen 2 bathrooms living room and dusting all rooms. my house is not big at all. To my surprise the cleaner spent the entire day at my house yet had to come back to "wash" my shower. She didn't even scrub the showers, even after coming back to do just that, ended up stained my toilet, and didn't dust my bedrooms. She cleaned my stove and oven and left that pretty clean! she cleaned the outside of my cabinets but after inspecting them yesterday had a bunch of chemical residue. I am extremely disappointed, I really thought I was booking a service from a company with high standards. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience so others know what to expect when booking a "deep clean" with this company. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, but the first cleaner didn't arrive until around 1:30 PM, already over an hour late. On top of that, I was mentioned on my walk through thats three cleaners were going to be working, yet only one arrived initially, the second cleaner showed up about two hours later, and the third cleaner never showed up at all. There was little to no communication about these delays, which felt very unprofessional and disorganized from the start. I was also told the job would take no more than 3 hours because my home "looked very clean and it was I had a deep clean less than a month ago. Instead, the service lasted approximately 7 hours, which is more than double the estimate and completely disrupted my day. The most disappointing part, however, was the quality of the cleaning. I paid for a deep clean, expecting a thorough and detailed service. Unfortunately, that is not what I received. Several areas were either poorly cleaned or completely missed, including items that are typically standard in a deep clean--and even things that should have been covered based on their own checklist. As a paying customer, I should not have to: * Supervise the entire process * Point out basic cleaning tasks * Or explain what a deep clean should include That defeats the purpose of hiring a professional cleaning service. While the cleaners themselves were polite and friendly, the quality of work did not reflect a professional standard. Instead of feeling satisfied, I felt stressed and anxious the entire time they were in my home, and even more disappointed once I saw the final result. I also don't like confrontation, so I didn't address everything in the moment--but I shouldn't have to micromanage a service like this to get basic expectations met. Overall, this experience fell short in terms of punctuality, staffing, time management, and quality of work. There was a mess up with their time and appt had to be changed, which was fine. I loved the gal that came to my house. However she used her mop and there was some residue an oily one and I had to re-mop my floors which that's one of my chores that hurts my back. I haven't called them back but I'm still on the fence. Absolutely terrible experience with Top Notch Cleaning. Do not waste your money. What they call "basic cleaning" didn't even cover wiping down kitchen counters or surfaces that had anything on them , they tried to call that "deep cleaning" and skipped it entirely. They didn't touch my in-laws' room, the sweeping was half-done, and the whole house looked basically untouched after they left. When I reached out to let them know how disappointed we were, they offered to come back or give us a small discount for the future, but we were so dissatisfied with our service, we let them know that and they didn't really even bother to respond. That says everything about their lack of professionalism and care for customers. My husband and I both agreed we should never have paid for this so-called "service." Top Notch Cleaning was very responsive to my request, price was within my budget and willing to accommodate my needs and schedule. The cleaner was right on time, and did everything she could within my timeframe of 3hrs -kitchen, sweeping, mopping, tidying up living room, 1.5 bath. My main focus for request was general cleaning that I typically have to do after a 6 day workweek and 3 kids. Ken came out and cleaned the carpets, he is friendly and professional. The cleaning was the price as quoted. The cleaning came out great. The only reason not 5 stars, was really hoping he would place little blocks under the smaller furniture that was moved so that the carpet dries. I felt blindsided! I was very dissatisfied with the cleaning. I initially asked if they could do spot carpet cleaning because my carpet was not too bad. The owner informed me that they have two crews, cleaning ladies and carpet cleaners. He then proceeds to tell me that he will see what he can do and go from there. I then asked if I do end up needing the carpet cleaners if they could come same day. He said that was possible. Following the cleaning day, I was told that I didn't request carpet cleaning. I cannot even give this company 1 star because of how horrible the service was! I came home to beds not made, blankets on the floors, no vacuuming of any kind , kitchen counters and table still with crumbs and sticky marks, kitchen trash bag removed from trash can and left on my floor, mirrors not cleaned, a cleaning bottle left on my sons bed, and then I get a message saying I need to pay more money then what they quoted me! Then she tries to lie and tell me I told her that I only wanted my kitchen and bathrooms cleaned. I send her a snapshot of our messages of me specifically asking what her general cleaning covers because when I would ask what they cover she would keep saying "general cleaning". We requested a recurring monthly home cleaning with Top Notch. I was quoted a price to clean the whole house. When the cleaners arrived, they said they could only clean the downstairs for the time and budget quoted. When I called the owner to tell him that was not what we had discussed, he said he had not budgeted the job correctly and would not honor the agreed upon price. We have had many companies in this same house complete the cleaning in the same amount of time for a lower fee. The owner took no accountability and so we had to send his cleaners back. This company was dishonest with their pricing of reoccurring cleaning services. They said $200 for first clean and $150 for reoccurring. When I tried to book a reoccurring appointment they said $250 because of the time in-between appointments (which they didn't say there was a time frame initially). I told them I was no longer interested and to stop messaging me, but they continued to message and harass me. Also, the cleaning was mediocre at best. I needed a same day deep clean and this company was very quick and responsive. They were able to get to my apartment to clean the same day within hours which I really appreciated. I also appreciated that they were flexible with pricing. The clean was by no means a deep clean. Two people came to clean and did the bare minimum to get out of there quickly. Tables I asked to be cleaned were not cleaned and my coffee table was left untouched even though there was marks and residue on it. The areas they did clean they did not go above and beyond and I had to go back and clean some myself after they left. Even though my apartment is small they only stayed for about an hour and I would've appreciated a little extra time in order to get a better clean. I recommend them if you can't find anyone else for a last minute cleaning but if you're looking for an attention to detail deep clean this is not the place to turn to. read more
