Sadly... another place going downhill. I love the owner... She is the best and most kind person. I used to come religiously for 15 years... but now I only do in a pinch. This past time I went in for a simple polish change and the girl looked like she hated life. I walked in with square round shape and she tried to give my toes some sort of pointed look. I had to request she file a normal shape, which made a few then super short when she corrected it. Then she only filed the middles of each nail so I'm noticing every one has a sharp edge that's longer under my skin. Like shorter in the middle, long and pointed on the sides... and she painted all wonky and didn't fully remove the previous polish... even when I ASKED. I started coming here last month when the young lady who does my nails let me know she was moving to another location. Yes. I followed her to her new shop but when you find someone that has great service and makes your nails looks beautiful without trying to pressure you into extra services, you go with them. The shop is in the shopping center with Publix right off of East-West Connector and South Cobb and sits next to a Chinese restaurant and Cato's clothing store. As many times as I've been in this shopping center, I'm not sure if I've realized the nail shop was here but they have a huge sign outside now so you can't miss it. There's plenty of parking in the lot so that's no issue. It's easy to make an appointment and I love how open and bright it is in the salon. Each time I come, the manager is always so friendly and pleasant and welcomes you, asks what services you need, and if there's a wait, he will let you know how long it may be. There are no TVs which is actually kind of nice and they'll offer you water while you're there. I also must add that everyone that works here seems to really enjoy working with each other because they always seem to have a good time. There are sooooooo many colors to choose from which can be a gift and a curse when you're not too sure. The prices are reasonable and my nails usually last a few weeks before it's time to go back. Went in to get a pedicure on a Friday evening after a long day on my feet hoping to get a a relaxing pedicure. Told the guy that greeted me I wanted someone with firm hands and it was my first time in the business. He sat me down with what seemed to be the newest and most inexperienced person they have on staff. The nail tech came over to do my nails but she never spoke to me, so I spoke to her. She started doing my feet when I noticed she was almost done, I asked for her to massage my feet and legs a little harder but that didn't happen. She spent the entire time she was doing my feet looking at the front door or the back door no focus on my feet. In 35 minutes I was done with no pressure applied, no massage and I paid $45 for a pedicure. Worst experience ever, don't go here unless you want to be pissed and ripped off for a pedicure! Have come here many times for nails/pedis. Service has always been great. Many seats available for pedicures. They are social distancing and following protocols such as checking temperature. Prices are decent. Typically each person seems to know how to do what you request but to each it's own on the actual quality of work...some are definitely better than others and I've been to a lot of them over the years. I used to come here religiously 10 years ago when I lived close by. I have moved several times, and now I live pretty close but continued to go to my old salon. There was a lot of construction this morning so rather than waiting in traffic for an hour I decided to just come here. I should've waited because I still probably would've been done sooner and at least it would've been a good job. First of all, the prices have increased significantly. And the staff is all about upselling now. Secondly, The woman who did my nails was nice enough but she cut me 3 different times with the file and she shaped my nails very poorly. I had to correct her several times because they are so crooked and ultimately gave up. Some are wide, some are long and I am just disappointed. I asked for red and picked a shade and of course they are out of it when it's time to finally apply. I choose 2 other reds which did not match the swatches and were pink before I gave up. I'm never too picky but I have never had to correct someone so much with my nails just to still end up disappointed. read more

The first time, you tipped $3, the second times, no tip, for both people that worked on you. The third time, you tipped $5, I think, it is because you had told me that your wedding is coming up in 2 days, therefore, I had tried my best to find the color that is similar to the color that you want(chrome) which save you cost an addition cost $20. The reason why I am mentioning tips is because you had pointed out that you included tip with your services. I don't care about tip amount, if I care about the tip amount, I would've declined to provide you services when you came in after the second time. I have been compelled to write this horrible review, as I have been going to this salon for many years. I got my nails done on Friday, and today I had to go to another salon to get a nail professional. He had to soak off my nails over 6 times to remove all the build up of acrylic, as it caused my nails to be so thick. I was wondering why all of a sudden in the last year I started having fungus and have suffered nail nicks that hurt for weeks. Wendy provided the worst service I have ever experienced, and she kept covering up issues with heavily applied acrylic. The salon I went to to fix my nails to make them look more natural, was shocked to see my nails to be in such bad condition. I showed them my receipt and they couldn't believe that I had bad for this type of work. I had to get all of the thick layers removed and now I can begin to heal. I felt like I had to go get nail surgery to get back to good nail health. It appears that they focus more on quality, and proving excellent customer service. Where Top Nail is more focused on quantity, poor management and customer service. I would think twice before spending your $$$ at Top Nail. Very dissatisfied. read more

I was referred by a friend to try this place because her nails were always cute. I went in for a full set and gel pedicure with a specific color, milky white. The man who did my pedicure was amazing. His name is Lucky and he was attentive, professional, and just all around phenomenal. Now the person who did my full set that's another story. I didn't get his name but whoever he was he was impatient, sloppy, and had an attitude. I can't stand looking at my nails up close because there are sooo many mistakes. There's lint caught in the nail polish that is very visible since it's white. There is a gap between the my real nail and the tip. The shaping is atrocious, overall it's just a hot mess. I booked a manicure appointment ahead of time since I had to fit this in during my lunch break from work. They had too many appointments at the same time and not enough staff. Instead of saving staff for the appts, they had taken walk in's ahead of us so no staff were available. For almost 30 minutes they kept promising it would only be "a few more minutes". I eventually had to leave and get back to work. Why allow people to schedule appointments if you don't have the staff to follow through? Customer service is terrible. This place is around the corner from where I live so after 25 yrs of going to my other nail shop, I wanted to give them a try because of the nail designs they do that my nail shop does not. I went to get a fill and some designs only. The young man did not ask me anything about reshaping my nails and I look up and he already did saying so they look more natural. My nails are a little wide and square because they curve quite a bit so this way the acrylic covers my entire nail. I did not ask for him to reshape anything!! I was angry but I didn't say anything. Also he did a few other things that were questionable. I was in a rush so I allowed him to finish, I paid and left. Now I have to go to back to my nail tech and have her fix my nails, which means paying more $$$ to have them widened.
