How I leave with no gel & no regular polish + the wait! AND still charge me like there's a color on my nails?! I tried talking to them about the price being unfair because I am not polished! The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming, especially considering the time of day and the lack of any explanation. I left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. From my perspective, the experience carried undertones of discrimination, and it was certainly unprofessional. Unfortunately, I had to choose a green color for my manicure in theme for my friend's bachelorette party but my manicurist Trey did an amazing job by making green look pretty with a cat eye design (extra $15). To book with Golden File, they request you to book online and ask you to pay for a 50% deposit. They also assign you a manicurist at the time of booking so you are guaranteed someone will be working with you during your set appointment. I really appreciate their strong scheduling system as I can't stand when I make an appointment at a nail salon and they don't actually keep the appointment time. The staff is also all so friendly and nice. They offer drinks (water, wine, Viet coffee, etc.) and snacks while you are getting your nails done. There is also a phone stand next to you to keep you phone propped up to doomscroll if you please. It's all the little touches like this that I really appreciated!

No paint or gel spots left on my skin (I hate when that happens!), smooth feet, beautiful nails - and I wanted mine pretty short too which is a challenge for painting.
