This place is really hit or miss , I have been going to this place on and off for 9 years . It use to be a great place with great staff , my issues came about 2 years ago when the service changed completely. The nail techs that were good left and the prices change when they look at you and see what bag you are bringing in or what jewelry you are wearing. I go to this place when I need a last minute fix and no one else is available and they have charged me a crazy amount because they think I'm rich lol . This is probably the worst job I have ever had done. I went with a wedding party to get done up for the wedding. I showed up about 20 min later than the rest of my party so I only got 10 min of a pedicure that was paid in full for. I guess they were keeping me with their schedule? They mutilated my toes, Filed the skin and used tools that weren't cleaned to cut the cuticles on my toes. Let's not forget the huge chunk of skin they cut off the top of my toe. The very next day I could barely stand in the heels for the wedding. My toe was so swollen. The picture is from 3 days after the pedicure. The doctor said it looks like dirty tools caused the skin infection. My fingers were absolutely tortured. I kept saying ow and my fingers were dripping blood. He just used the nail grinder to cut down my cuticles. This is also a reflection of how dirty this place was. He was grinding my bloody finger (from him) with the communal nail grinder that plugs in. Got an acrylic full set and pedicure here with my mom and sister on my birthday and it was amazing! My pedicure was a little messed up as someone training did it, but the assistant manager took off the polish (I genuinely didn't even know there was anything wrong with it, so it's not like I complained) and did it again! I've never also gotten a pedicure with hot stones before. My mom and sister got gel manicures and they're so cute but my acrylics were a little more complicated and I wanted a pretty specific design, which they absolutely nailed! It was exactly what I wanted and I love them. They even sang me happy birthday in there and she was so sweet and personable. Wish I lived here so I could come back!! Overall, very impressed! I called the day before to make an appointment at noon, my call was answered almost instantly and they had availability for me. After arriving at 11:50, I was seated at 12:10. It was very crowded but the layout was very functional. I showed the man who started my nails a picture of what I wanted, and he advised me on a different base color. Ultimately I wasn't happy with it, so he removed the acrylic and did what I asked for originally. The woman who did the designs on my nails was very friendly and easy to talk with. She offered to do a design on my boyfriends nails to match mine! today was the experience to seal the fact we will not be returning. my friend and I went in for pedicures. my friends toes were not even painted the color she asked for. my own toes I have 4 nails that are not fully polished. the lady scrubbed the skin on my legs so hard they were burning and stinging. The service was supposed to be a scrub and massage. when she was trying to massage my foot she used her nails to scratch them. normally this is the part I enjoy most. I paid for a certain style and did not receive the services they claimed they could provide. we were not treated very well. my pedicure was finish as hers was just getting started. Their basic pedi is a soak, a scrub , an amazing not rushed massage, hot stones and hot towel, paint , clean up ... hello new me!! . STOPPPPP right ?! Its what every pedicure should represent! The fill and design were incredible and Henry got the job done flawlessly!! He was so friendly and I really felt like my business was so appreciated. So in closing , they close at 7:30 - I left that place at 8:20 ... y'all , I would have NEVER went had I known it would run that late. Not one person said anything to me about closing or anything. I didn't even realize it until I was leaving that they stayed late to make ME feel important and appreciated . I was so lost in conversation that I had no idea so much time had passed. I needed my nails done very badly and couldn't imagine going another day without having them done, I usually go to profiles on del prado that happens to be across the street. I went on Yelp and read reviews on this nail salon and I decided to call and see if they had any availability and the gentleman on the phone replied yes please come in at 4. Got there at 345 went in and immediately Brian (I'm assuming the owner) greeted me and sat me down to soak my nails because I wanted a full set. Showed him the picture of what I wanted for my nails for Valentine's Day and then ended up changing my mind. I asked him for glitter colors and he brought them over right away and even remembered the numbers I picked out while he was attending to another customer while my nails soaked. I was impressed. Then one of his colleagues came over to do my nails. I hate to complain but I did tell her I didn't like the shape of my thumbs and to my surprise she fixed it without any attitude ( which I've experienced before, I hate that, makes it uncomfortable ) so again I'm impressed especially by her professionalism. Then I explained to her what I wanted on my ring finger and she asked me " Do you want 1 heart or more" And I told her surprise me this is out of my norm.. Don't recommend. Instead of fully soaking off SNS nails, he started drilling it off bails. Put fingers in bowl for less than 1 minute . Nail tech didn't listen to what I wanted and insisted on putting gel on top instead of just a top coat. Later that day one nail completely broke and another cracked. In the next 3 days 3 more nails broke. No I didn't return to have them repaired, went to another place that was much nicer and people that listen to what you want. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Went here with my mother for some mother/daughter bonding and pampering. I got a full set while my mother got a pedicure(we weren't in the mood for the same things that night) The staff was AMAZING, very polite, funny, relaxing all at the same time, while still doing excellent work. The place is CLEAN the pedicure bowls are lined, tools are sanitized, the chairs are all in great condition and working just right for the automated massage. Now about the treatments. My mother is one PICKY person with HIGH standards for a pedicure. This was THE BEST she has gotten in her life (I'm not disclosing her age cause it'd mean the end MY life) Misty was WONDERFUL, got her feet silky smooth, a hot stone massage on her feet and calves, followed by a hot towel wrap. My mother in HEAVEN! Lisa did my full set, I like nails SHORT and oval. Lisa did wonderful, she didn't go deep on my nails, no cuts, no burns, and managed to get nails the length I like and oval AND have them look good; which most people can't seem to accomplish. I too got a nice hand massage complete with a hot towel wrap as part of my full set, speaking as a massage therapist I can say: LISA'S GOT SKILLS! Now, the part that was quite nifty, both the full set and pedicure started and ended AT THE SAME TIME! Nobody was stuck waiting around for the other. A year later and I'm still as happy as I was on my first visit. Switched to here after my regular nail tech left Nail Art & Company and couldn't be happier. Lisa is amazing! I bring her pics from Pinterest and I'm never disappointed. My nails don't lift and I can go extra time between fills if necessary because of how good they are. Just left the best pedicure I have ever had! And for only $25! My MIL, SIL, and I are visiting from Chicago and stopped for a pedicure this morning and all left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! The technicians were all so kind and friendly and went above and beyond making our feet look beautiful! The salon also had a pleasant aesthetic, smell, color selection, and good quality pedicure chairs. Very busy people in and out but there are a lot of techs so you hardly wait unless just waiting for the next available seat. I have been a customer for a couple of years and liked the way they did my nails and pedicures. Although it is true how unprofessional they all are, like somebody else wrote, talking and laughing at customers in their native language. I don't speak Vietnamese but do understand a few words and can't believe they would actually do that not knowing if any customers are actually capable of understanding them. Also, lately every time you give them a tip, if it's not enough (I always give 20%) they will not even say thank you. Another disturbing fact is that I had 2 warts on the bottom of my foot removed by my doctor in last few months and actually have another one forming. When I asked the doctor why do I get them since I have never got them in 50 years of my life? He said it was bacteria from unsanitary pedicures, walking on dirty floor bare foot, etc. Well, I don't walk barefoot even in my own house and the only floor that I walk on is the top nails after my pedicure because they are too cheap to give you the one use slippers. They also reuse spacers for your toes, different color, not from a package. Not sure if they even sanitize the tubs or the tools? I have noticed another review that talks about the same kind of problem, having warts on your feet ever since they have been going to Top Nails. I am not going back there, will look for a cleaner place and a nicer, more respectful staff. read more

The guy (with the vegans are heroes hat) was like "omg & ew" the whole time while he collected dead skin & made a pile on my foot. He was really rough & I had to tell him several times that he was hurting me. It didn't seem accidental. The whole time they kept saying we need gel pedi which we didn't want. Doing the polish? NO SPACERS! I had to ask or it would've smudged. The other tech actually did smudge several nails then said "See? Gel don't smudge". I've never been to a nail salon that doesn't know to put on the sandals BEFORE the POLISH! To top it off, I saw them pass a rotary tool to each other without changing the paper. It was ingrained with old nail colors! That's exactly how fungus spreads, people. We went there couple months ago & had an absolutely lovely experience with 2 female tech's. We always tip well because we APPRECIATE a job well done but this trip was awful. I don't know what happened but I will NEVER EVER go there again. I really had an awful experience here, nail guy Brian was very rude to me from the beginning and even talked bad about me right in front of me to one of the other ladies. He even snapping on me at one point about the position of my hand, he walked away and started on someone else's nails at one point leaving me waiting with half done nails!
