There's a lot of negative reviews on this salon and has someone who has been going here for almost a year after relocating, I figured it was time for an updated review. To start...Everyone is so nice. I always feel welcome. They play music on the tv and it's a chill vibe. Maylen has been my nail artist from the beginning and she is fabulous. She has texted me on new years and mother's day to wish us well and always asks about my family and life. Attached are some photos of my sets from her. I called on Saturday before Mother's Day expecting no one to have an opening at the last minute, but to my delight Nancy was so friendly and said no problem come on in. I needed a manicure and Pedicure very badly. I had been moving and my nails were jacked up! My technician ( can't recall his name) was a younger man whose mom also works there, he was kind, polite, gentle and very professional, and I'm looking forward to going back in a couple weeks! Went in for a fill & a pedicure.... Took 2.5 hours and neither of them came out nice. Nails had bumps and air bubbles, toe polish was smudged and was on my skin. The color I chose was a purple color, it came out like brown black mess. Tried another color that was similar and it came out neon so went back to the original color with the plan to go somewhere else when i left Would not recommend. read more

This place disappointed me today I went here multiple times and have never been treated rudely. I walked in with some friends. The employees there are very disrespectful and does not know how to run a business properly. I only was able to get my nails done when I want to get a pedicure and a manicure, but was disrespectful with the whole process and I was locked in the store when they treated my friends for months or disrespectfully, and said that they were going to pay more if she kept on wasting your time because the four month old was crying. read more

Design work is good but they use cheap supplies. Making appointments is pointless, because they never adhere to them. Nancy takes anyone who walks in the door, regardless of appointment. Prices are insane! Every time you walk in, the prices have changed. Her husband is not gentle, and she sends you to him so she has time to stall with who she is with. Her husband files through your real nails, and cuts skin open. I have gone to Sunshine Nails for about six years, and I left the first time for this exact reason. Not satisfied. read more

The lady that did my nails wouldn't stop chitchatting and wouldn't listen to what I said. I got a refill with gel glitter. The glitter is patchy, and can see the color through it. To busy chitchatting had to interrupt her 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. read more

I got my nails done Tuesday of THIS week.. had to go back on Friday to get them re done because almost all of my nails fell off after only three days. With gel. Then yesterday, saturday (exactly one day after getting them re done) one nail on each hand has already peeled away. I have no desire to go back and get them done for a THIRD time in the same week! Justin does amazing ART, by hand, however, twice I got fungus under nails.. stopped getting nails done there.. then we would get our pedicures there. They used TO be great! The last 2 times not so much! Had an older gentleman.. he cut me to bleed, was very fast and nothing relaxing... this FINAL TIME, sat in water for 35 minutes before anyone came out, and unfortunately got the same gentleman! AGAIN, he cut me, never even used the lotion or oil, just cut my nails filed asked a color, put green salt on rubbed on my foot for 60 seconds(yes I timed it) wiped off rubbed a hot rock for again up down 1 time, put hot towel, and said I'm finished! I chose no color! Spoke with owner, which she said oh it's changed now. No paraffin, no oil, no lotion! Didn't even ask if we wanted upgrade (like we ALWAYS got) very rough, and then charged me $65.00 after I politely and quietly spoke with the owner! No I'm sorry, nothing! Well never again! read more

Just moving to the area its been a hassle trying too find a decent Neil salon. This nail salon is nothing but amazing. The woman was so nice and friendly and did exactly what i asked with no hesitation. Her husband hopped in to do the paint and let's just say, he's an amazing perfectionist. I wanted somewhere quick and cheap to get my nails done last minute. And a cheap experience is exactly what I got. I was able to be seen right away as a walk-in, but that was about the only good thing about my experience here. The salon was terribly dirty with dust on almost every thing. The girl giving me a manicure was on her phone almost the entire time, and of course did an awful job on my cuticles. And my nails now have polish with bubbles. Absolutely love this salon and I have been to quite a few since moving to Cape Coral. Lin is the best, but anyone who has tended to me has done a great job. They always accommodate me even if I show up without an appointment. Super clean and have a variety of colors available. Lin listens to what I want and follows through every time. I would rate this place zero stars if I could. I went there asking for a light blue color and some how walked out with green nails. Later on i asked if this was the color i asked for, and she said "no, we ran out so i chose the closest color." Rather than letting me know she chose a different color for me, I had to figure it out for myself at the end. And not only that, but she failed to prepare my nail properly before applying the acrylic. She did not remove my cuticle before hand, so now my nails won't last as long. They are also sticking up rather than just pointing straight forward. read more
