I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I live in San Luis Obispo and drove 35 min to come here because I don't like the places in Slo. I love super crispy nails that aren't bumpy and after seeing their photos on yelp, I needed to come here. The service here is so amazing. I got sat within 10 min of arriving and Jackie did an amazing job. The shape of my nails is exactly what I wanted and the designs were free handed, first try with no hesitation. They are everything I wanted and the pricing here is so good!! I highly recommend and will be coming here again! Definitely recommend Jackie! She is sweet, quick and overall a great nail artist!

I'm not sure why a shop wouldn't be willing to take the time to fix something as small as a reapplication of a gel-x nail. i will likely not be coming back to this shop unless something can be guaranteed in the future to prevent this from happening again

Embarrassing! I will never return! Kim ( don't know if there's multiple of them in the shop) was extremely rude! At one point stood up and started yelling at me in front of other customers. She was very rough and kept hurting and said I was too sensitive even through she cut multiple fingers. Horrible experience!

Since the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed by the staff. They are very friendly and professional and make you feel comfortable. Tom did a pedicure and almond shaped nails on me all within an hour and a half. So fast without compromising quality! He did a wonderful job and was so patient. Highly recommend him and all the staff. My sister's nails came out so cute exactly how she wanted them. She got her nails done with one of the ladies but I can't recall her name. Regardless, you can't go wrong with any of the staff! Definitely check this place out if you need your nails done!

I walked in with no appointment on a Thursday night after work and I was met with the most welcoming and beautiful salon. I showed Kim a photo of nails on Pinterest that I liked and she gave me nails even more beautiful than the inspiration photo that I showed her. She was so welcoming and truly a joy to talk to through the entire experience. These are the most beautiful nails that I have ever had. Kim has a customer in me for life. I could not be happier with my nails or the amazing woman who did them for me. I won't be going anywhere else in town

Was in for a full set, gel acrylics. I'm not gonna speak negative about the business but just look at my nails. I've been here before and never had an issue with my nails. I'm not picky either but these I couldn't get over how ugly they were. I ended up going to a different salon and getting them fixed. What bummer and waste of money. Worst service I've had here by far. Came in to get a pedicure and manicure. Got seated (pedicure) then was told to take a seat and wait again because someone else was going to be attended because they had appointments but when those customers came in they never stated they had appointments. They were asked at the door what they were here for and they had stated two pedicure. No word about appointments. Apparently anyone else can come in after you and they would be serviced first. Do better. Taking my business somewhere else. read more

Was just looking for a place open on a Sunday, was not expecting to find such an awesome gem! They took me right away. The place was clean and cute. They are priced reasonable for the area ($20-ish for a manicure, $25-ish for pedicure). I got the "top pedicure" which is the longest and most elaborate option for a the chair pedicure. The chair itself was the BEST, and strongest massage chair I've ever experienced- honestly I would have paid $60 just to sit there for a while. It even had foot rests that popped up when it was time for the massage part of the pedicure (so much better than having to hold your leg up). The technician was polite but not overly chatty. I wish I had a place like this near me in NY, I loved years ago and we have nothing this great or priced so well. Bravo Top Nails! read more

This morning I went to Top nails for overlay on my natural nails. I was attented by man. He never asked what shape I wanted on my nails instead he seemed annoyed to be performing his work. The entire time he was working on nails he would shove my hand away and pull on my hands as well. Once he was done he never asked if I like how the nails came out instead he told me to go pay. I payed for the service but once I saw how my nails came out I was beyond disappointed. Some nails were bulky and then slim compl uneven. I been to this nail spa a few times but seems like the nails techs only care about the dollar sign in front of them. It was the worse nail service I have receive from this nail salon. read more

LOVE TOP NAILS!! The owner, Kim, used to own Queen nails in Santa Maria but now owns Top Nails and Spa! I have trusted Kim to do my nails for over 5 years. She always does an amazing job !!! and is able to squeeze me in when I need. I show her pictures of how I want my nails and she makes it happen. Her husband Tom and relative Jackie also work there and they are awesome. They are so sweet and kind. They always greet me by name and ask how I am. I feel more than just a customer here and highly recommend. Kim purchase new chairs and furniture so the salon is super clean and updated. Her team is small at the moment but she is looking to hire more nails techs and expand. They also offer waxing services as well. read more

Disappointing Experience - Cheap Quality Gel X Nails I recently moved to town and decided to give this salon a try for gel X nails. Unfortunately, it's been nothing but a frustrating experience. In the span of one month, I got two different full sets of gel X nails, and about 13 maybe more nails fell off during this time! I've been getting my gel x nails done for over 10 years, and I've never experienced anything like this--not even close. To make matters worse, the first time I went back, one of the employees admitted they used a cheap glue on me because they were testing it. They used me as a guinea pig without even telling me beforehand. When I went back to have the nails fixed, they didn't offer any credit, refund, or even a special discount for the trouble. No accountability, no professionalism. If you're looking for quality Gel X nails, this is NOT the place to go. You truly get what you pay for here, and unfortunately, that's cheap nails that don't last, break easily and come off easily. I would NOT recommend this salon if you're expecting good quality and service. read more

Very disappointing experience. I came in asking for an acrylic soak-off, but the technician refused and instead tried to remove my nails by popping them off. I repeatedly told her I was in pain and asked if she could soak or file them instead, but she ignored my requests and rushed through the service even though the salon was not busy. She ended up tearing part of my natural nail, and I left with damaged painfull nails. I would not return! read more
