When we have to travel and we want @ewokyorkiepoo to be taken care of, we go to Nelly's Ark. The boarding price is very reasonable ($17 USD per night) and they seem to have a very good control of their customers. The spaces for the dogs are separated by size of they'll feed either what you bring or what you ask them too. OUTDOORS This property sits in a semi-rural area, yet close to I-5, so you'll find that they take the pets out to the large, natural grass area in the back... Where they can experience outdoors for 15 minutes a day. Outdoors in the #PNW has a different meaning for different people, even for dogs. It's #outdoors nonetheless. RESERVATIONS With a large all-season all-inclusive waterpark resort such as Great Wolf Lodge a couple of minutes away, finding a spot takes time. Make sure you make your reservation in advance and remember to bring your dogs vaccination records! SERVICE It seems that only dogs are accepted, but there's an extremely friendly cat that will greet you at the lobby... Was even understanding for when our trip was extended a couple of days due to car troubles on the way back. What keeps me from adding that last star (or rather, .5 of a star) is getting a call at an odd hour about an alleged flea on my cat's rear. This was news to me, as we have not encountered the little parasites in our house since 2014 when a neighbor of ours introduced fleas to our house. Our cat is strictly an indoor cat, never goes outside, and I have dealt with fleas on cats a handful of times in my life, and have never had an incident of a single flea found only on the pet. The bugs have always managed to bother me as well. I have not been bothered by fleas since the aforementioned 2014 incident that we treated, and eradicated. So getting a call to say a flea was found, but no evidence was offered at the time, or at eventual pickup, just left a slightly sour taste in my mouth for what was otherwise exemplary cat boarding. I would still recommend her services, would even use them again if I found myself having to take the family out of town again, but if I am to be called and told my cat had a flea (not even fleas, I was told one was found on his hindquarters) I would rather expect to see some sort of evidence, photographic documentation preferably.

I was worried about my cat bc she was really scared when I first dropped her off. To see a video of her purring and meowing outside of her condo was so comforting to watch while away. We also got back from our trip a day early and asked to pick our cat up after hours and Charlotte made it possible. She even refunded us for the last night without us asking. Such a sweetheart.

Once a week got him on phone & told he would email or call...none of either. Phone won't accept voicemail, no response to text. There are 4 of us who compete in events listed on his website with two of us who have tried to nail him down for training, with being left feeling he has no interest. One has been trying for months. Having to go with somebody else to train with after well over reasonable amount of waiting with no attempt from Bart to return contact. Blows my mind how a trainer can just ignore multiple long term clients who are looking for somebody to train with closer to home. Will look at him again if he surfaces. But we have dogs in need and competitions upcoming and can"r afford to sit and wait to see if he surfaces.
