I came in for a liquid gel refill at Tipsy Nail Bar, and it was honestly the worst mistake. My previous liquid gel set--done at a different salon--lasted 5 weeks with zero issues: no lifting, no cracks, nothing. I only decided to try Tipsy because it was much closer to where I live. Exactly 7 days later, one of my nails lifted almost completely from the back. I reached out, and they did agree to repair it at no cost, which I appreciated. However, they mentioned: "Sometimes gel color doesn't bond as well when it comes into contact with the natural oils on the nail. This can happen even with proper prep." I went back in, had the nail fixed, and the technician checked the rest and said everything looked fine. Then the very next morning, another nail lifted from the back almost completely. This time it ripped my natural nail underneath, and I had to remove it at home. For $75, this service was absolutely not worth it. I don't mind paying for expensive nail services--but I do expect them to actually last longer than a week, especially when my previous set had no issues at all. Save your money and go elsewhere.

After seeing the quality of the pedicure and manicures other people were receiving I made an appointment for a dip manicure with Rothy. She was so worth the wait, I've never had such a good experience. She truly cares about the work she is doing and does not rush. Angela started doing my nail and I suppose it was the owner came over and switched me to Dominic, my appointment was with Angela. The girl would come back to check on me from time to time and dried my feet after it was over. She explained the final color of my foot bath and what potentially could be the cause. Then offered suggestions on how to cleanse on my own in addition to suggestion regularly doing foot detox baths. The front retail/check out area was very cute and homey. She cleans eyebrows up the best because she doesn't overwax like some people. She cleaned up my brows nicely and did a gel pedicure for me.
