I absolutely love the staff here! And have never been disappointed with their work! Great prices, clean, friendly, free WiFi, they even have a mini fridge with free beverages. Honestly I think most of the 1 star reviews on this business is petty customers who are the ones who you can't please no matter what you do. They probably have a miserable life and want to make others miserable. read more

I went here for the first time and I was beyond impressed by the staff, and the no wait time. My service was great. The vibe in the salon was great. they had great uplifting music. and they even gave me a free design! I will definitely be returning soon!!! read more

I called and made an appointment with Lena. She did a Fabulous job! I have thin sensitive nails and without me asking she was Very Gentle. They use something I had not seen which is Eco Friendly with no smells. Everyone smiled and if I spoke to them were welcoming. Business was steady and it was a summer Friday, but no one was waiting or walking in or rushing. They offered me a cold beverage and had a pretty travel channel in tv to watch. Also, without rushing at all, She had me done in 1/2 an hour. I was delighted. I read the bad reviews. Perhaps they have a new Manager or made improvements. I recommend Lena highly. She deserves to have a wonderful clientele, so book her ahead of time! read more

0/10 my pedicure was short, which was fine. the tech did not do anything with my cuticles. she filed them down with the Dremel tool until they were very thin. she rushed through painting and did not allow the first coat of color to dry well. then, after setting the gel with UV, she filed the ends of my nails which caused all of the paint to separate and fall off when I contacted this page, I initially asked for a gel refund, and they agreed. then when I reached out to tell them I had only 3 toes left with paint (48 hours post gel Pedi) they told me I was wrong for asking and they wouldn't do any more for me avoid avoid avoid read more

Nail tech rushed through my pedicure and I didn't notice until she had one coat of color on that she put the wrong color on. Then during manicure hit my skin so many times it cut a couple of my fingers. So much acrylic applied my nails took on different shape. Not even at all. Then charged me for a flower design that I didn't ask for. read more

I had a very negative experience at this nail salon . I felt the nail tech was on another planet. She didn't pay attention to me, was staring into space, kept missing the bottle when she was trying to dip the nail brush into the polish. I was a bit concerned about her level of sobriety. My nails were painted so poorly I had to go right to another salon to have them redone. Also I was charged for a full manicure when all she did was briefly file and paint my nails. Just a really sad and uncomfortable experience for me. Will not return. read more

I was looking desperately for a nail salon that could do a dip powder manicure and pedicure AND was open on Mondays. A bonus was that they offered online booking! My pedicure looks decent enough, although the $7 callus remover isn't worth it. The male nail technician who did my friend's service seemed friendly and they took COVID seriously, even if a few guests came in without masks. That's obviously not their fault but in such a small space I wish people would be more respectful. After leaving, I had mixed feelings! My nail technician was super rough with her sanding block and left visible scratches on my fingers. Ouch! She also didn't trim any of my cuticles and instead just pushed down the skin around my nail bed with her fingers. Since the lockdown, I haven't been getting regular manicures so I KNOW my cuticle area needed help. My mom later informed me that her regular salon in the area doesn't do a manicure with her dip, just the powder! Where I live, in Chicago, dip manicures are about the same price and have a full manicure included. Charging ~$40 for just the powder seems very high to me! That being said, my dip lasted a solid 3 weeks before there was any noticeable cracking which is better than any gel mani I've gotten in the Bangor area so maybe it's worth the extra cost, in spite of the no frills. I am truly torn between 3 and 4 as I am very pleased with the longevity of my dip mani and the online booking but not a lot else. read more

The first time I told the tech I needed a whole new set of acrylic nails,I live an hour away, they have been filled at least 8 times at various salons and i had my last two manicures have a nail break. She assured me it wasnt necessary. There was a holiday coming up and I knew I needed a new set.But because they remove them improperly I gave in as its painful to have them ripped off and I need to find a better salon but had no time as I had just had my nails done a week before. So she filled them a needless to say on holiday I was in for a very painful screwed up nail that I had to have a bandaid on until after the 4th.They looked pretty tho,but my new ones which are white have at least 3 nails with ugly bubbles.i have paid 60 bucks to have at least 3 nails look like crap.ill post my pic. read more

This has got to be the worst nail salon I have ever been too. Rude staff, terrible quality of services. Need I say more?

Terrible terrible terrible. I had my mani and pedi done here about a month ago. I was unhappy but decided to give it a second chance because we all have bad days, right? NOPE! I should've spent my $$ somewhere else. Today was MUCH worse than the first time. First I was told that I could be taken right then. I was promptly taken to a pedicure chair where I waited for 30 minutes before anybody said another word to me. Then, my nail technician had such a gentle touch that it was actually annoying. In 30 years of getting my nails done, I have never had that happen before. Now it is time for cuticle pushing. OUCH!!! Jerked away because of pain reflex is what I did 3 or 4 times. Don't even get me started on the cuticle clipping. Ugh. . 3 cuts/pull always there. My nails are not evenly filed and have jagged edges. I will have to go home and file them myself. I DON'T EVEN OWN A FILE BECAUSE IT USUALLY IS TAKEN CARE OF AT MY APPOINTMENT!! I opted for the deluxe pedicure but didn't get the massage prior to the hot stones. And when I told the nail tech that the stones were too hot and were burning me, which is not uncommon actually, she put them away. Seriously?!?? She didn't cool them down ... just put them away and charged me for the deluxe. And now the polish ... French manicure on my toes ... no solid lines from white to clear and only one thin coat of white so you can see my nail bed through what should be solid white. . After 30 minutes of soaking in the water and that horrific pedicure, I didn't feel comfortable getting my hands done. I would not recommend this place at all. Sad, too, because it is convenient. ****update As I am driving home the back of my calf itches a bit ... no big deal except I reach down to scratch it and realize that my leg is covered in oil still (should have been wiped off or massaged into my skin) AND now I have oil all over my car seat. Not what I remembered. Scheduled an appointment for a dip manicure and pedicure. I understand running behind but it appeared as though they booked 4 others for the same time slot with only 3 people working. The heat didn't appear to be working (had a few space heaters and the staff were wearing their winter coats with hoods). The lady that did my pedicure did not stabilize my toes while painting them and as a result had a few drips off my nails and onto my toes and they didn't come out very neat. My biggest disappointment was my finger nails. The color was not at all what expected so the lady offered to add another layer of powder, in doing so the final result was two different colors on each hand. There didn't appear to be any consistency with the different products she used or the order. She didn't brush off the residual powder or dust from filing from my hands before painting the top coat and saying I was done. She sent me to wash my hands and the product began to lift so she re did the affected nails (using a different top coat-now the finish is different on different nails). Not the experience or result I had hoped for with the $80 price tag. read more

I was a bit hesitant to have my pedicure done at the mall, but then I decided to give it a try. My initial greeting was not friendly and technician barely spoke to me the entire session. The technician finally decided to talk to me and be nice when I gave him his tip. The job was less than mediocre. Quite frankly I could have done a better job at home. My technician was sloppy and was rough with my feet and legs. Definitely not so pleasant. I watched the other technicians interact with customers. Half of the technicians were rude, and one lady even started raising her voice at a customer who was confused with her bill. A second customer left unsatisfied with her experience and pedicure. Apparently the nail polish was "old" and "clumpy". Staff still made her pay full price without any sympathy or apology. I will say this will be my ONLY and LAST time coming here. Lastly, not sure how they received all the awards for being one of the "greatest" nail salons. The most recent award was in 2010, so I'm thinking perhaps service has declined or there has been a change in management. Fast forward not even one week, half the nail polish chipped off my left toe. read more

Do not have your nails done here! She rushed my manicure. My cuticles were not soaked prior to trimming. My nails were different lengths and jagged upon departure after I specifically asked her to cut them the same length. She put lotion on my hands while my nails were still drying. Will not return here again! read more

Really wanted to like this place but after only 2 visits I will not be returning. I had an appointment for 3pm and waited until 4:20pm to finally be seated. I could understand if it was a walk-in, but it is not okay for someone who has an appointment to wait an hour and a half. Once I finally sat down the entire process was rushed. I asked for a full set and they gave me a fill instead. Not only did I feel completely rushed and brushed off, the shape is not at all what I wanted. Overall very unhappy with the quality of my nails and the service here. If you're in a pinch or need nails done last minute they'd be okay, but this is definitely not somewhere I would recommend to a friend. read more

Got a full set of acrylics today and I'm impressed! It was crowded and a bit chaotic but I received really good service and my nail tech was the best! Full set with gel finish, super thin acrylic, perfectly shaped in less than 25 minutes. Prices are midrange, very fairly priced for the Bangor area. Definitely recommend! read more

This salon is dirty and grimey. I ended up going back three times in one day. THE OWNER rushed through my acrylics and just did a terrible job. The paint they use never dries, thus tricking you into coming back and paying another $15 for shellac after THEIR POLISH doesn't dry. They're so rude and unprofessional. I spent $50 on a fill (usually only $20) to get my nails to look remotely decent. Worst experience I've ever had. read more

Very friendly nail salon. Manicure I had was just fine, nothing special. But thank goodness there's a clean and friendly place in Bangor to go to! read more

If I could rate this less than one star, I would. I was in tonight for a GEL full set of stiletto nails. Not only was I given ACRYLIC nails, but the points on the stilettos are all crooked and uneven. When I pointed this out to the tech, he argued with me and told me they weren't, just that I thought they were, instead actually of fixing it. Worse, perhaps, is that the acrylic applied to the top of the nail is flat, bumpy and uneven, leaving my nails to look like they curve UP at the tips instead of straight or down. A gel polish wasn't even put over the nails themselves, meaning I paid a premium for something I hate. Now I'm going to have to pay even more money to go somewhere else and have them fixed. I think perhaps the worst slight of all is that I got my debit card out before the service so I didn't mess anything up going to pay when it was done, and when I went to wash my hands, I came back to find that he had picked up and swiped my card without saying anything first, forcing me to pay before the service was complete. Save yourself the trouble. Avoid this place. read more

I made an appointment to get my nails done yesterday and I went in today. First of all, they still do walk ins, which is very hectic. It was over crowded, lots of maskless people, yes you don't have to wear a mask if you're vaccinated but you don't know who really is vaccinated and who isn't. The staff was rude, they acted like I wasn't there. I was waiting outside the salon forgotten with another person waiting who was a walk in. Why even do appointments when they're understaffed? It's a shoe box in there, very crowded. The polishes looked old and gunky, and I asked for help looking for a color and the woman was cold, didn't even talk to me just pointed to the nail polishes I had been staring at for the past ten minutes. It was so uncomfortable, everyone in the salon is right in the same corner so everyone heard. Nothing is really labeled, it's all strewn about. Gel is mixed in with regular polish, and they didn't tell me what polish I was supposed to grab. They were very cold and rude. I left, it's not like they care about appointments anyway. Go somewhere else, don't spend your money and time there. read more

Very disappointed. My mom, my aunt, my cousin, and I have all been coming here for 3+ years. I'm extremely disappointed with the last service I received. My full set of French acrylics started lifting after only two days and they weren't pink & white like I asked. They state they have a seven day policy so I called and scheduled an appointment for 11 AM. Two employees looked at my nails and told me they'd fix them. I sat and waited for 30 minutes before the guy asked me if I wanted them filled, I told him to do whatever he needs to do to fix them. He said they're grown out and that he'd fix one today and to come back 4-5 days later if I wanted a fill?? I wanted them soaked off and re-done. I'm not going to pay him to fix his mistake. Both my mom and aunt are nail techs. When we pay for nail service we expect them to be done correctly. Customer courtesy goes a long way. Unfortunately they'll be losing out on all of our business in the future. read more

This place is awful, made my finger bleed multiple times and was super painful. No manners whatsoever.

I've gone here for acrylics because they do a student discount and haven't had an issue. I decided to get a regular gel manicure and I was so unhappy. First off the guy doing them smelt of smoke which made my hands smell of smoke and I was disgusted. As soon as I left the salon it looked as if my gel was smudged and not even a day later they were already peeling off. Would not go there again for a gel manicure. Nothing special and a waste of my money read more

I wouldn't even give this place one star. The lady who did my nails did a terrible job. She was too busy on her phone, she made me bleed and wiped it with a dirty towel and smudged my nails trying to take my card from me and barely fixed it. They were very rude when they found out I was with my girlfriend not my best friend. Overall terrible experience. read more

Excellent, friendly customer service, effort, and professional results while working under pressure!! I walked in with no appointment and not much time. They gladly agreed to redo a full set of nails that had been done badly *elsewhere* the day before. Truly, this nail salon exceeded my expectations - especially since the results were near perfect even though they were done FAST, because I needed to get to an appointment. My nails held up through the holildays - after lots of housework, chopping/cooking for Thanksgiving dinner, etc. Plus, I didn't have time to get a fill a couple of weeks later, but these nails stayed on until Christmas and still looked good! Highly recommend. read more

I wouldn't even rate this place with one star, they don't deserve it. The first time I went there they were nice, the second time I went there they were extremely rude and let 4 other people go ahead of me that came in after I did. I got up and left. One of the associates comes running out and grabs me by the hand and tries to convince me to come back in and why they let all those other people go in front of me. She wouldn't take no for an answer and she wouldn't let go of me. I continued to refuse then she finally got the hint. If this is how they treat returning customers it shows they don't appreciate you. read more
