I've never used a auto broker before and was skeptical this would go smoothly as I usually try to have friends or family check vehicles out for me but we all know how that can be. I found VPS on Yelp and after doing some research by visiting his website along with the many reviews on Google/Yelp I decided to take the plunge. I contacted Dave via text late on a Saturday and was texted back that same night. He ask for a link to the vehicle I was interested then without asking pulled the Carfax of the truck and showed that it had been in a minor accident. We discussed more and I decided I was serious and ready to make the purchase. Dave swiftly took over and made an appointment with the seller, scheduled a basic vehicle inspection that included a diagnostic check as well as 10-20 photos of the body and undercarriage including a short video of the engine idling that I specifically requested. I then proceeded to negotiate a price with the seller that we eventually locked in. I was able to send the funds directly and securely witch gave me added piece of mind. Dave met with the seller got all the paperwork taken cared of (notary, title, bill of sale, etc) as well scheduled/coordinated a new windshield replacement that the seller agreed to take care of prior to selling me the vehicle. Lastly Dave was able to clean, prepare and store the vehicle safely till we could schedule shipping to me. Dave went above and beyond my expectations! He was willing to help with whatever was needed. First car got a loose bumper; he fixed it and when we got home, we found out that the parking sensors stopped working. We called him and he said he didn't touch the them so he didn't know. He didn't bother to look at it again. Second car for an issue with ignition. So he said he fixed it by replacing the ignition and charged us $600. But the car still got starting issue later. So we brought it to another shop and they said the ignition box was a used one. He probably never replaced it or replaced it with a used one. What a liar. The new shop replaced it again and it is now all working.

We initially started with one vehicle and I was told everything looked good, but ultimately the financing wasn't approved because of my particular circumstances. Rather than making the situation frustrating or making me feel like I had wasted my time, Ryan adjusted quickly and worked to find another option. That flexibility and willingness to keep working with me made a big difference. One thing I would tell anyone considering Ash Auto, especially someone rebuilding their credit or coming out of bankruptcy, is don't be afraid to ask questions and don't be afraid to speak up about what you want. Your financial situation doesn't mean you shouldn't expect a good vehicle and a fair deal. Do your homework, understand the terms, and make sure you are comfortable with what you're agreeing to. At the end of the day, Ash Auto is still a business, so being an informed customer is important. I also believe this is especially important when you're rebuilding after bankruptcy. Make sure you're comfortable with the vehicle, the numbers, and the overall deal. I can now also speak to the delivery and post-sale experience. The vehicle was promised for delivery on Monday, 9/21, but actually arrived on Sunday, 9/20, which was a pleasant surprise. The delivery was simple and hassle-free. The driver confirmed my identity, handed over the keys, reviewed the vehicle with me, and made sure I was comfortable before leaving. The vehicle arrived in good shape and, honestly, in better condition than I expected. I did notice two mechanical issues fairly quickly. They weren't cosmetic, and while I was surprised they hadn't been disclosed, I also understand that they may not have been known to the dealership beforehand. I contacted Ryan, and he responded and connected me with Jason, the Service Director. Jason was professional and helpful and immediately worked to get the issues addressed. He gave me the option of having the vehicle inspected and repaired at a local dealer or certified repair facility of my choice and even offered to assist if I had any difficulty getting the repairs handled. That follow-up was important to me. Used vehicles aren't always going to be perfect, and I think the real test of a dealership is how they respond when something unexpected comes up. So far, Ash Auto has responded professionally and made a genuine effort to help resolve the issues rather than leaving me to figure everything out on my own. I'm still relatively early into ownership, so I don't want to overstate my experience or make claims about the long term that I can't verify yet. But based on the buying process, the delivery, and the way the initial service concerns have been handled, I am very satisfied with the professionalism and customer service I've received from Ryan, Jason, and Ash Auto. For anyone dealing with bankruptcy, rebuilding credit, or a difficult financial situation, I would recommend giving Ash Auto an opportunity to work with you. Tony Ritz subsequently acknowledged the underside of the car was scraped and confirmed that the scrape could be seen if you digitally enhanced the photos in the advert. No such scrape was ever disclosed in the advertisement. In my opinion Tony Ritz misrepresented the condition of the car. Tony Ritz refused to accept any responsibility for this or to recompense me in anyway. I would strongly caution anyone who is thinking about purchasing a car from Tony Ritz.

Brandon takes possession of the vehicle, repairs it if needed, details it, estimates the best sale value, takes photos, and markets the vehicle. We did not have to do any of that. Our vehicle had been sitting for two years and it was important that all worked perfectly. Brandon handles everything. We also had a lien on the vehicle which presents a problem for possible sellers who are looking for a clean title and immediate possession of the title. Brando worked with us and the prospective buyers so that this was understood by both parties. Brandon was able to develop trust with the buyer that created the opportunity for the lien to be released and the new title to be delivered to the buyer. Brando was successful on all fronts. He also babysat us through the paperwork. The MVD does most services online which is different from the days of waiting in a long line. For those of us (me) who are not online literate, Brandon's help and patience with us was very very much appreciated. I would recommend Brandon to anyone who either cannot or does not want to sell a vehicle on their own.
