I'm glad I waited to do the review until we'd tried this location a few times. When we first came after they opened, the food wasn't what we were used to at their Carrollton location - maybe it was just new restaurant opening. However, we've been here a few times and I can say that they are just as good now. A must try for us is the chicken skins and papaya salad. Their curries are delicious, as are the soups. I really like the garlic shrimp as well. The crispy garlic on top with some white rice is perfection. I've noticed they now had seasonal type menus that have dishes that are good. Portions are less generous than they were in the past. This is definitely a place where you want to order family style to try different things. Staff are usually prompt and food comes out pretty quickly. Our go to Thai place for sure.
We dropped in on a Thursday night, and Too Thai was busy! Nonetheless, we were seated and served quickly. My partner chose Seafood Prik Pao with medium spice and enjoyed it. I selected chicken Pad Thai with no heat and appreciated that it was flavorful without being overly sauced. We also shared a gai satay (marinated grilled chicken with peanut sauce and cucumber salad) that was delicious. The space is functional with some fun decor, and prices are reasonable. We'll return.
I love Too Thai and had it for so many times at the Carrolton location, but this was my first time here at this new Frisco one. The inside was so spacious and way bigger than the Carrolton one. Their customer service is always top tier :) We got Pad Thai w/ Pork & Panang Curry w/ Chicken, both with level 4 spicy. The food came out pretty quick for a Sunday lunch. The Pad Thai was really burnt though, it looked so dark compared to other tables. I think they might had cooked a big batch of Pad Thai, then distribute them out by spice level, so by the time they reached level 4, the noodles were burnt and all chopped into small pieces. The burnt masked all the pad thai flavor so I couldn't taste anything and no spice at all. The curry was good though, not the best I've had but it was decent. This one was spicy!! We also got the Thai coffee and it was okay, it had a lot of condensed milk and wasn't strong enough, I prefer their Thai tea more. I still give them a high rating since I love the food from their Carrolton location, and it's always consistent there despite how packed they get. This Frisco location is okay, I would probably not come back :(
Got lunch at Too Thai with my coworkers. The atmosphere is amazing, really bright and lively. The service was very, very quick, our full table got their dishes within 8 minutes of placing our orders even though everyone ordered something different. I ordered the panang curry with chicken thigh at spicy level 3. I found the curry very flavorful and the heat level quite comfortable. It came with a mountain of rice and a respectable bowl of curry. My only criticism was that the chicken was in very large chunks that were difficult to fit in one bite. The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. I will be returning!
So happy to have this location open closer to home! The space feels identical to the Carrollton location, just a tad larger. The food and service is just as good too. Ordered a pad thai & mama oho the soup had all the seafood fixings but was saltier than we would have liked.

We ordered Pla Ma Kham (fried fish) , special noodle soup ( think phoa), deep fried sun dried beef (beef jerky), Thai iced tea and mango with sticky rice for dessert. Everything is good. My favorite is the dried beef. Service was good. Place is vibrant.
Absolutely DELICIOUS! Brand-new restaurant in a busy shopping center. If you don't mind fighting the parking, this restaurant is a must-try! We ordered a little bit of everything last night - from appetizers to entrees to dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. My favs were the mo ping (beef skewers), the Thai papaya salad and mango sticky rice. We can't wait to go back and try other dishes.

This place is popular, there was a 30-45 minute wait but we came during weekend lunch rush hour and they send you a text message when your table's ready. Love the decorations inside, it's a very beautiful restaurant full of decorations and culture. The staff was all super friendly and the food was delicious, portion sizes are generous also. Tips: spice levels are 1-5, there's an online take out menu up front. Welcome to Frisco Too Thai! :)
Stopped by Too Thai during their soft opening in Frisco! We had the Khao Moo Dang Moo Grob and Tom Yum Nam Lon with chicken and both l were flavorful and authentic. I'm definitely coming back to try the Lao style papaya salad next. The space is really cute and I love the open kitchen vibe. It was busy, but the staff was super friendly and doing their best to keep up. Can't wait to come back for more!

I was walking down the strip and saw it being under construction, and screamed a little lol They did a soft opening the weekend I was out of town, but you best believe I had dinner at Too Thai the day I returned! The food is always amazing, the service is fast and nice ambiance. This time, we tried the chicken skin, chicken satay, beef salad (don't remember the name), Phanaeng curry, mango sticky rice - all that i have had before, and hope to have many many times again!
Stopped by during their soft opening! They currently have a 15% off this weekend and they have a grand opening later in the month. If you are tired of the standard Thai fair, this is the place for you. They've got all the classics for Thai street food and so far have been impressed. We tried their ground chicken kra pow, Khao Moo Kratiem, pad kee mow, and a Penang curry. I'd highly recommend the kra pow the most as the depth in flavor was amazing. Their spice levels are also a bit more accurate compared to some of the more Americanized Thai places. I got a 4 and at other places this would be rated Thai hot . The Thai tea is sweet but has a good Thai tea leaf flavor, not watered down. The design on the inside is also lovely, bringing some of the street food vibe to Frisco
Really cute place with fast service! We tried the Khao soi, Mama o ho, Sukothai noodle dry, iced green thai tea, and pink milk. Almost everything was delicious, just the pink milk tea was not popular because it resembled an overly sweet strawberry milk. I liked the Khao soi flavor and richness with coconut! The sukothai was also nice and a fun mix to eat. I look forward to trying different items next time. read more
Food/Drinks: Ordered the Boat Noodle, Kana Moo Grob, and Crab Fried Rice, and we were pleased with everything we had. Would have preferred the pork belly in the Kana Moo Grob to have maintained its crispiness--it was a bit soggy, maybe because it was sautéed with the sauce? Also ordered their Pink Drink (i.e., strawberry milk) and Thai Iced Tea. Between the two, probably lean toward the latter. Service: Dropped by for lunch around noon on a Saturday to a packed house, so there was a bit of a wait (~10 min). Putting yourself on the waitlist is straightforward--you scan a QR code, put down your info, and when your table's ready, you'll get a text. After being seated, we put in our order, and our food came out of the kitchen relatively quickly. While we didn't have a designated waiter, everyone on the floor was friendly and attentive. Newly opened in Frisco so it's a must try! I've been here several times now and more recently on a Friday night. It was packed! They used Toast to manage their tables (ahem Yelp reservations cough and it was about a 15 minute wait. They were really good about it and sent me a text along with a phone call shortly after to let me know the table was ready. Flavors were on point. Even my girlfriend who is quite picky and critical of authentic ingredients finds this place to be worthy of praise. The dishes that stand out are the crispy pork over rice, boat noodles, sukothai dry style noodles and chicken and rice. This is very similar to the street food you would find in Thailand and not have to fly 9,000+ miles in order to get it. Service was great with food coming out quickly and drink refills. It gets loud in here so dont expect to have a romantic conversation. You will hear tons of other conversations and the TV playing in the background of various cities in Thailand. read more

So excited to see a new spot open up in this area. The menu has a ton of options, the service was good even with being packed my first visit; and the food was really tasty. We loved the chicken skins appetizer a lot. And the dishes I got were really tasty. My second visit service was a tad different. My daughters and I ordered almost all the appetizers. For the most part all were really good! read more
This place was packed and I understand why, the food was delicious. Everything was flavorful and tasted so fresh and clean. Due to the fact I was short on time and couldn't dine in. I ordered takeout on their kiosk and paid for the meals through that. Even though there were no seats inside available. There is a nice community sitting area outside, you can use to eat or just use to relax. I will definitely be back. read more

Outstanding and certainly lives up to the hype!!!. The restaurant itself is very cool looking and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The food itself is incredible and is far from the usual Americanized Thai menu you see all over town. For appetizers, we tried the Thai style papaya salad, the fried ribs and the grilled pork jowl. All excellent and highly recommend to wash down with a cold beer. For our entrees, we opted for 3 rice based platters - the poached chicken with ginger rice (an excellent rendition of the famous hainese chicken and rice made famous in Singapore), the pork hock rice in a five spice sauce was out of this world and melts in your mouth. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other dishes on the menu. So stoked to have them in Frisco ! read more
Okay now I get the hype about this place! I've been interested in checking out since seeing the sign up months ago as I've heard a lot about the Carrollton location. I love that the menu has some familiar things but also lots of dishes that are harder to find in most Thai places so you know it's super authentic!! Anyway there was a bit of a wait so be prepared for that but it'll probably depend what time you visit. Every dish we got was good and my favorite from tonight was probably the Pad Kee Mow. I'd say the Tom Kha was good too it's a bit more on the tangy side but I love the vessel it comes in! The moo ping was also good with the sticky rice. I definitely want to go back and try more dishes!! The service was also great!! And I love the decor and the place is clean. read more

My favorite thai place just got closer to me and I couldn't be happier. Every time I eat here I'm blown away by the food and the flavors. This time I got the beef penang curry (spice level 3) and the chicken khao man kai. The curry was the perfect level of spiciness and definitely my favorite of the 2. I thought at first it was a little mild, probably from the coconut milk, but the spice definitely builds the more you eat it. The khao man kai was very clean and the sauce to put on top really made the whole dish. Service is always great and the inside was so well decorated. I can't wait to come back. read more

Terrible portions for the price I paid ($37) the pork ribs were breaded and still they were almost all bone... The amount I paid here to get food of this quality is disturbing. I would recommend everyone reading this to go to tahn thai in mckinney over this garbage. Also the bowl of khao soi came like this... half full.... its like someone ate half my soup and served me this. Please tell me why they serve a bowl so massive but fill it half way. read more

So EXCITED that Too Thai is finally opened in Frisco. Been waiting for a very long time although we drive to Carrollton (the original) all the time. The authentic Thai food is amazing and scrumptious. Christina the restaurant manager and her team are so attentive and on point. This is a must visit place to enjoy lunch or dinner. read more
