Hear me out, this is a destination Italian place.... You literally drive here just for the restaurant. I visit this area quite often as my mother is retired here and every time my family and I come up it's always Tony's. I was wondering if it was just me and that we've always had it and that's why I liked it but when my daughters tried it they love it too! If I come to Pennsylvania without my daughters, they always give me orders to get from Tony's and bring back to Maryland. Yes, there is a a guy named Tony, he's from Sicily and some of his family work here. The cheesesteaks are legit these aren't touristy Philadelphia cheesesteaks these are completely authentic. Their pizza is a little bit of everything pizza by the slice or by the pie New York, Italian, you can't go wrong with any of it. There aren't many seats inside, they closed the restaurant side around Covid if I recall so almost everything is takeout. There's only about half a dozen tables inside. Don't sleep on this place, if you're anywhere near the town drive-by and get something!! read more

While working down the street at one of our locations, a coworker recommended this pizzeria for lunch. I had tried it last year during a visit, but that time we picked it up and ate back at the job. This time, we decided to dine in. The restaurant is small, but it offers about 7-8 booths for seating. The menu is surprisingly large for such a cozy spot, featuring pizza by the slice, whole pizzas, sandwiches, and more. We all went with pizza slices. The slices are pre-cooked and displayed up front, and once you order, the owner (I'm assuming Tony himself) pops them back in the oven for a few minutes to heat them up fresh and hot. One thing to note -- these slices are HUGE, definitely reminiscent of New York-style pizza. I had the taco pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The chicken bacon ranch slice was solid, though not as impressive as the taco slice. A coworker tried the buffalo chicken pizza and said it was good too. I'll definitely be back, and next time I plan to try one of their sub sandwiches. Great spot for a quick and tasty lunch! read more

Cheesesteak was huge and delicious. Pizza was greasy but good. Our waitress was super nice. My only complaint is access for a disabled person is not on the up and up. Other than that I would recommend this establishment. read more

Tony's - Large Philly Cheesesteak - Italian Near Me - Topton, Pennsylvania

It's just like Italy! I just picked up 2 large pizzas from Tony's in Topton, Pa. They are by far my favorite pizza in the area. I do miss the restaurant side that has been closed since Covid with their salad bar, though they do have a small sit down area out front. I prefer to get take out now which is so friendly and can be accessed by drive through-how easy! The crust on the pizza is thin and the topping goes close to the edge. The crust is so good that you will want to add oil and vinegar to your plate to sop it up with the leftover crust! Sauce is simple and fresh like what you would get in Italy! Delicious! read more

Tony's is a staple in the community. It's been around for many many years and when you eat here you can see why. One side is a sit down style restaurant and the other side is a small pizzeria style shop. Large portions and good quality food. Staff is very friendly. Can be a bit expensive when ordering large amounts of food and there isn't much parking. We Eat here a couple times a month. Pros: -good food -huge menu -drive thru window (must call ahead to order) Cons: -little pricey -not much parking -on a one way street (no fault of their own) -they don't deliver to my house lol read more

Service was a little slow, food was very good, large portions and cheap food. The restaurant was very comfortable and had a homey feeling ambiance. Very good choice read more

One of the worst food we ever had. The bad taste lingered for ours in our mouths. I don't understand where all positive reviews came from. Probably fake. read more

Awesome Italian family restaurant. Friendly environment, safe well cleaned and great food. Keep on cooking tony* love going when I'm visiting pa. read more

Great pizza and friendly service! A small town gem in a country filled with over-priced, pretentious pizzas. Tony is the real deal.

Best pizza I've ever tasted, and for good reason. No complaints about the service, nice atmosphere... and most importantly, they use an oven! Most pizza places like Papa Johns and Dominos use some cheap conveyor thing. As the signs in the store say, there's a difference between the big chains and individual businesses... you can indeed taste the difference. read more

Did a quick stop at Tony's with my wife and two pre teen boys. We all give it a big 5 out of five stars. Quick. Delusions. Affordable.

Tony's is my 2nd favorite pizza in the country behind Joe's Pizza in NY with Lorenzo and Sons in Philly a close third. Tony's is a small mom and pop type place in Topton, PA. They have a pretty extensive menu with quite a few entrees like fra diavolo and pescatore along with the regular cheesesteaks, hoagies, and neo and Sicilian pizza. Everything we had in a group of 10 was excellent read more

I was in town for the weekend and the place we had planned on eating in was closed so we ended up here instead. When we first walked in the place was crowded and noisy but we managed to get a table near the door. I didn't care for their salad bar, but the meal itself was surprisingly good! Seems to be a local place, so it was busy with regulars, but our service was pretty good. I would definitely go back to try more of their dishes, based on how good my seafood and pasta was that night! read more

My Family including my Son and his Family of 5 live in the town of Topton, Pa. And we've been enjoying Tony's Restaurant food for years and years I've been a customer since I was young so that goes to show how amazing their food is and they have employees including Tony that give you exceptional customer service!! Definitely deserves more than 5 stars!!! Thank you Tony's pizzeria and fine dining plus takeout! read more

This is the Tony's to go to (I've actually never been to the other one). Their pizza is pretty pizza-y. Their hoagies are very large and pretty good. Their philly cheesesteak is my favorite. Who would have thought putting sausage on a cheesesteak would make it so good? Well, I guess Tony did. I miss their old drive through window. I don't particularly care for their garlic knots, but you can't win them all. I recommend getting a cheesesteak and a hoagie and splitting them 50/50 with your wife. read more

This is our go-to pizza place. Granted, there aren't many to choose from out here in the country, but even so, we really like the food! We normally get plain cheese pizzas, and every box comes stamped with a coupon for buy 12, get one free. We've also ordered items such as cheese steaks, cheese fries, onion rings, hoagies, and even pierogis. We've never been disappointed. They're always so friendly when we go pick up the food and even give my kids a lollipop if they're with me. Definitely give them a try! read more

The cheesesteaks are amazing here. Hoagies and pizza are also very good. Huge portions and prices are low for how much you get.

Tonight I cashed my 12 coupons in for a free large cheese pizza and added two toppings. I also ordered a dozen wings. When I picked the order up, he told me it was $23. Tony's claimed the dozen wings were $16 and what was listed on the menu ($7) was out of date. That cost was on the menu he had just handed me. He stuck to his story stating the cost of chicken was up but 120% - come on. I left discussed and upset considering all the years I've been a patron to that establishment. He got caught up in his lie and deception and wouldn't back out. The menu said $7 and he tried to charge me $16. Apparently he was trying to recoup giving out a free cheese pizza instead of being honorable in his business ethics. I suggest you get the total of the bill while you're on the phone. It was obvious to me when he was on the cash register he was up to something. I will no longer be going to Tony's. be aware of his business ethics or lack thereof. read more

I have tried this place a handful of times now but today signals the end. Twice, I have been overcharged, each time going through the drive thru. I waited almost thirty minutes going through the drive thru only to finally come to the window and wait another five minutes before being acknowledged. The food is cheap in price, which should've been my clue that the seafood dinners would be overcooked. I would not recommend this place to family or friends. read more

Leaves raw chicken out for hours in hot kitchen do not follow proper food handling, cross contamination and a very ignorant kitchen staff

Great place and a leading business within Topton ever since I was a kid. I have been there on many many occasions and they are very quick to prepare your order. Almost every time I'm there I see Tony tossing and kneading dough with a friendly attitude. Their pizza is pretty good and its a great place to pick up sandwiches and a six pack of beer. read more

Excellent Pizza by far! Always satisfied with there food, owner is always happy and glad to see his customers return. You can order at the counter and eat there or take out. They also have a dine in restaurant with excellent service! A must go to real Italian food restaurant. read more

Great small town pizza place. If you order a large sandwich I hope you are hungry because their are huge compared to most places. I love the chicken cheese steak with sauce and onions. Pizza is great too. It's a local landmark and hope it's around forever and never changes. If you are lucky during your visit you'll get to enjoy a train running through town. Just don't park on the tracks! read more

Good food! If you don't see it, ask for it. Tony's daily specials are great!

My family LOVES Tony's. The food is great (especially the pizza!), the staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. We have always had great experiences at Tony's! read more
