Rather have gone to taco bell. Tony is smiley, friendly, but boy does Tony cut every corner he can. I ordered 4 Lengua tacos for my fiancée and a lengua burrito for myself. Speed of service was very quick, but I found out why. Every ingredient is the most lazily prepared I have ever seen at a taco truck. Lettuce was made of spring mix bag- with carrot and red cabbage shreds barely picked out. Tomato slices were HUGE. The burrito was NOT wrapped!!! Im a white boy who doesn't own a taco truck and I know how to wrap a burrito. It had no rice or beans. Too much sour cream and barely any meat. Every other bite was either a huge glob of sour cream, unchopped cilantro, or lettuce. The only thing id say was really good was the salsa. I called about the rice because I was left very unsatisfied. He told me he ran out of rice. I let him know I would've liked to know before recieving a burrito without it and would've ordered something else. He begrudgingly offered me tacos or something else for tomorrow. I want to get my car washed at Autobahn and saw Tony's Tacos I decided to pull in to try it out. Tony back in the day used to make the best tacos in the tricities area. After returning to his taco truck years later. I noticed he put way too much salt on my meat and then on top of my food being way too salty he made me salty by ripping me off 10 dollars. I even gave him a chance to correct it. I said "hey tony you over charged me 10 dollars! He then said no you got 7 tacos, 1 nacho, and 3 horchatas! (His total $47 dollars) when the tacos are $2 dollars, horchatas are 3.50, and the nachos are 9.50. He told me what he charged me after he swiped my card. When I opened my burrito it looked like some some one threw it in the foil and rolled it up there was sour cream all over the outside of the burrito. Oh, Tony, Tony, Tony! You've been rocking it in the auto repair parking lot for years, and where would Kennewick be without you! You're the only taco truck that I know of in Kennewick, and I hope you thrive for many more decades! It's been a few years since I've made it over to his truck, but Tony looked the same as ever, and was as nice as he always has been--he's always greets with a cheer. I got hooked up w/ some big tacos filled with fresh deeply red tomatoes, lots of cilantro, onions, radishes, and of course the best beef. The torta was huge. It was packed with much of what the tacos have plus a special sauce and some avocado. Accompanying these godly concoctions were a nicely-sized container of red and green sauce. Wow. Absolutely the BEST tacos on planet earth! I've been frequenting Tony's business for years now and it remains my favorite lunch stop in town! Tony is also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and his food is incredible, not to mention affordable! My favorite are his beef tacos and both his homemade red and green sauce are the best I've had anywhere! I have visited several taco trucks around the Tri-Cities over the years and Tony's is, by far, the cleanest, the most attractive, the friendliest, and the best food of all of them! Tony's has the best prices and my favorite Adobada in the Tri-Cities. I like how he grills the tortillas for the burritos adding more flavor and texture. The torta is filling and well worth the money and I can see why a lot of people rave about the salsas, as they were pretty good. Can't forget about the friendly-ness of Tony which is also a huge plus. What I didn't love and the reason why I couldn't add the 5th star - Besides the Adobada - his other meats are so-so compared to other Tri-Cities' establishments and the bun to the torta seemed a little stale. Being from California, I have extremely high expectations for Mexican Street food. Try as I might, I wasn't ever able to locate a truck with reasonable prices outside of Pasco until we heard of this gem. My wife was actually referred here by Tony himself (he comes to her job to get coffee every morning). So we swung by one night and picked up some tacos... And we never looked back. His prices are the norm for street food, and the flavors are fantastic. His homemade sauces hit the mark every time, and if I could I'd buy an entire tub of that green sauce. Its seriously amazing. If you want the kick, combine them both (red and green). Tony himself is an amazing guy who always has a smile on his face no matter what's going on. Take the time to talk to him while he's cooking for you and you won't be disappointed. The man has a heart of gold and has been around forever. We are vegetarians and while the veggie burritos were fresh and good, they were small, had little beans if any, one small dime size chunk of avocado, no rice, no tomatoes and little more than cabbage.
