The lady lady working said it probably won't be coming back, but it doesn't seem to hurting business too bad. Breadeaux is a small chain and the thing is that their pizza has a focaccia- type crust, which is buttery and crispy, but still a bit doughy -- in short, it's delicious. I was in the mood for a BBQ chicken calzone which was filled with chicken, bacon, onion and Canadian bacon, with a ton of cheese and hint of sweet BBQ sauce. It was served with a side of marinara for the crust. It was cut into four pieces and I was stuffed after one. It was really tasty. A favorite of mine, The Piggy Sticks, are still on the menu and really worth a try. Give them a try if you're in the area. Their prices are higher than most pizza places, but you get a far superior pizza.

Well this is a long story so buckle up. I recently went into this place and ordered a medium pizza…read moreand an order of cheesy bread. Total came to 26$ or something like that. Time came to go get the pizza. Headed up there like I've done a hundred times before. Walked in to pay, and they were kind of busy that night. So LouAnn the owner asked me to check out on their second register. No big deal right? So I kindly walked over to her second register and I used Apple Pay on my watch. I held my watch over the reader and bing it rings on my watch and I think we are all good to go. She says hold up it didn't go thru, I said huh? Ok then. No biggie so I scanned again. My watch dings and she says to me again it didn't go thru. I said well my watch is dinging so I'm not sure what's going on here. I had left my phone in the truck. So I couldn't easily see the charges on my watch. She goes I don't know what's wrong with this stupid register. At that point the other register had freed up, so I stepped over to it we tried again and bingo! We are all set. I leave head home with the pizza and cheesy bread. I get home, and after I eat I look at my phone. Oh dang those charges did actually go thru. Now I've been charged 3 times for the same order. So I said well I'll just call down there and see what's up. Well to my surprise I learn that the woman that checked me out is actually the owner. Didn't know that at the time. She proceeds to tell me she's not showing any extra charges. I said that's strange, I'm clearly seeing them on my end. She says well let's just wait till the end of my close tonight and it should all clear up. Well it did not clear up. So I contacted my credit card company and they said well the charges are legit and you will have to dispute this to clear it all up. I said ok. No big deal I've disputed charges before. Well this time was different. After about 3 weeks I get notified from my credit card money that. The charges are going to stay on my card because it appears the LouAnn at the pizza joint has my money. So I contact LouAnn again at the pizza joint and she proceeds to tell me now. Yes I see the charges and I can't do anything until the dispute clears up. I said ok. I understand maybe it's still holding her up in the system. I get it. Things take time right? Well it's now been almost 3 months since this all took place and LouAnn is still giving me the run around about the 53$ she has basically stolen at this point. At what point as a small business owner do you go? You know what I'm gonna fix this before I start getting blasted on yelp, and lose a customer that has been coming into my business for a couple decades! I think at this point I would have done anything I could to fix this, as a very small business that lives and dies by the local community. I would have got the cash out of my personal checking account if I had too. Well LouAnn hasn't done any of that. She keeps telling me. Sorry nothing I can do yet. Or it's still in dispute. Apologies. Well Now we are here, and I really didn't want to have to put this out there. I've already accepted the fact I won't be seeing my money. That's ok. But I certainly expected better out of the little pizza shop I used to love and rave about to anyone that asked. I won't be doing that no more and they lost an extremely loyal customer in the wake of all this.

Arriving to our resort close to dinner time, I started browsing for some local pizza places I could…read moreorder from. Ozark Mountain Pizza came up as an option not far from where we were staying so I decided to try it. I ordered online the first time (yes we ordered multiple times). It took no time for our order to be ready and it was waiting when I picked it up. I couldn't wait to get home to try the garlic knots so I popped one in my mouth in the car. Divine! It was garlicky, pillowy, and delicious! When I got back to the resort (less a couple garlic knots), we popped open the pizza box and the salad. When I say that I have never seen such fresh lettuce in my life, I am not kidding. It was green and not full of big old chunks of lettuce ribs. It was PERFECT! The pizza was also perfect. Crust pillowy like the garlic knots. Perfect amount of greasy deliciousness. The SECOND time was a few days later when we called and ordered delivery. Same order as before with different toppings on the pizza. Our order taker was very pleasant despite us debating back and forth amongst ourselves the 10:30pm delivery time (it was 9:00pm at the time) and figuring out toppings. It is a true testament that we ordered despite the late arrival time. The delivery driver was super nice and had no problems finding us in our complex. The food result was the same as before - delicious! I can't recommend them enough!

Thanks for the easy ordering process and great food! Might K add that the delivery driver was lit together and. Or sloppy or skinny. I was honestly pretty excited to try this place out after our last trip to Branson and made a point…read moreto eat here this time after a truly delicious experience at another pizza place nearby. I also was surprised to see that Dave Portnoy had recently been here (not that I care about his opinion) but it added another level of intrigue. Unfortunately my visit the other day did not nearly live up to the hype. Where do I start... The service? Unorganized. The staff? Lacking people skills. The food? One pizza was pretty terrible (1) and the other was a 4 at best, and the appetizer was completely forgotten about despite being asked about at least 3 times. My experience with the staff was interesting because after I swiped my card and plugged in a pre-service tip, she just walked away to deliver pizzas to the dining area with out a word being said. Literally nothing, as we stood there looking silly with our cups and table flag on the counter and the receipt hanging out of the machine. So I grabbed our stuff and went to find a table. Within a matter of 2 minutes the same person ventured out to the dining area carrying what I assume was our appetizer and walked around asking several tables if it was theirs. Finally one table (who looked equally confused) went ahead an accepted it. Then in a matter of another 2-3 minutes a pizza came out to which the waitress asked if it was ours. I thought this was impossibly fast but we verified the toppings and she placed it on our table and asked if we needed anything else. I informed her that there was supposed to be another pizza as well as an appetizer. She went to check on that and returned with another pizza and said she would check on the app. Within about another 3 minutes when we all were still working on our first slice each she returned and asked if we needed a box. I told her that eventually we would but we were just getting started and were still waiting on our appetizer. After that she didn't stop by the table again until we were done, and I flagged her down to asked for a box and reminded her again about the app. I even had to show her what we ordered on the receipt because she looked pretty confused about the whole thing. After that we didn't see her again, and a different person came out from the back and presented our appetizer in a to go box. She was very nice and apologetic, but still it was too little too late. On to the food... As mentioned above the first pizza was pretty terrible. For starters there was no sauce. Literally no sauce at all just the dehydrated remains of where it once was burned to the dry, cheese-less parts of the crust whose rim was every bit of 2.5 -3 inches. It had a decent amount of pepperoni which was used as a base for the scarce amount of cheese and bacon bits, so as soon as you picked up a slice everything fell off. Not slid off like you are probably imagining with an over sauced or extra cheesy slice, but fell off the bread in a dry floppy flat lump. The toppings were completely separate from the crust with no binder whatsoever. All that was left on the crust underneath was the pepperoni oil which had soaked into it, aiding in the separation. It was really bad. The second pizza was a plain cheese one. It was much better and this time no issues with the topping. It also was MUCH hotter than the first one which was really odd to me. This example was considerably more flavorful and more on par with what I was initially expecting. That other one however literally was like someone made a pizza, cooked it halfway, then wiped all the toppings and sauce off and filled the parbaked void with a full layer of pepperoni, then bacon and cheese. It was like a topping transplant from a pizza that was made wrong. The Garlic Cheese breadsticks which we tried in the car on the drive home were okay, but only like the middle 3.5 were covered in cheese with the outer 2+ sticks almost completely bare. Also it appears that the sticks are pre-frozen ones that are covered with "fresh" garlic spread and cheese. Its either that or the person making them is really good at making them to a uniform size and shape. Doesn't really matter because they simply weren't that great. The only positive thing about the food was the crust on the cheese pizza, but even that isn't saying much. So all in all it was a pretty bad experience. I'm still having a hard time understanding what happened with the first pizza's assembly as well as the odd / clearly unorganized service. Also the pizza(s) came out impossibly fast which makes me wonder how staged or preprepared these are before ordering. Because of all of this I can't honestly say that I'll be back, especially when there are far better options just across the Taneycomo.
