I used to love Leonardo's. We went recently went and the quality has gone down hill significantly. The breadsticks were still doughy, we were the only ones in the whole place, and the food took longer than it should have, the pizza was not very flavorful at all, we felt it was a waste. We all ordered something different. My son order broccoli cheddar soup and loved it. My oldest daughter ordered the potato soup and said it was ok. She said it was a little bland. The portion size of the soups was pretty good. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan breadsticks and they were very soft and large but lacked a little bit in flavor. decided to give Leonardo's a try and it was worth it! We ordered spinach dip in a bread bowl appetizer and it was Fantastic!! Then we decided on Chicago deep dish style pizza and a chicken alfredo pizza... The chicago deep dish was different than any Chicago deep dish i was used to but very good anyway, the chicken alfredo was very good as well. we will be back! read more

Was in Harrison for the afternoon on the weekend and decided to give this place a try out of the other pizza places in town. We ended up not trying the pizza though it looked very good. My companion and I went for sandwiches and Stromboli. Both were served quick and hot with excellent portion sizes. The bread was crisp on the outside but tender inside. The meatballs very tasty. There was just the right amount of cheese for each. The potato chips were standard. The pickle spear long and crisp. It wasn't super crowded for a weekend lunch so service was spot on. Very friendly and talkative people who made us feel welcome. Overall this was a nice value and turns out a good product. I'd definitely return to try the pizza next time I'm in the area. read more

Italian food and subs and pizza are great. I had spaghetti and meatballs today, and my wife had Buffalo Hot Wings. We were extremely pleased. This time we had carry out, but we have eaten the same items on site many times. Service is generally good. Food is always hot and freshly prepared. Not a fan! Eaten there now three times. Each of us ordering something different each time. So, that means I've had 9 different things from the menu in 3 visits. Every item tastes like the sauce came directly from a 5lb commercial can! BLAND! No flavor, no oomph, no spices, no zest. Pasta should be 'al dente', instead it was squishy and soggy - so it had been sitting in hot water for quite some time. Pizza crust was OK at best. Service was slow, even on the day it was just us three in there. We won't go back. This place is as far from authentic Italian as a Fortune Cookie! read more

On a night that I was in the mood for a pizza, they came through for me. Though their only online presence is through Facebook and I never succeeded in finding an online menu, I did manage to find them on yelp. The girl on the phone was patient, helpful, and knowledgable about the menu offerings. They had a pizza to my hotel door in less than 30 minutes. Pizza quality was great, the price was fair ($16 tax and delivery fee included) and it definitely hit the spot. If I'm ever in the this quaint little city again, Leonardo's will get my phone call. The service was AMAZING! Our server was willing to stay on the phone with us to help us find the location, as we were from out of town passing through looking for a place that served gluten free pizza. When she found out that we had been on a trip to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday, she brought out a complimentary dessert pizza. And best of all----- their GLUTEN FREE pizza was delicious!!! I highly recommend eating here!! If it weren't 8 hours from home - this would be my favorite place to eat. :) read more

I love their Gluten Free pizza! My kids and I eat gluten free pizzas regularly and this is by far one of the better ones that I've had. They did take a long time(over an hour ) to get one delivery to us & it wasn't fresh by the time we got it but it was still pretty good. When fresh they are 5 stars all day but I'm giving 4 stars for the one lackluster experience. read more

ok I only had pizza delivered one time. It was very skimpy and very lukewarm and late. She said she couldn't find our house. Ok I accept that because I notice most drivers don't have GPS out here. Ok. I normally am not critical of the places i go out to eat. I understand that things go wrong in a kitchen as i have worked in many myself. I get what it's like when your slammed, however there is a fine line between stressful night, and absolute insanity. First and foremost, ordered, two chicken bacon ranch salads no tomato, honey bread sticks, a small cheese pizza, and an order of honey garlic wings. we received only one salad with tomatoes and the wrong bread sticks. No biggie right? I called and they were very apologetic, offered to send two new salads (my hubby wont eat the one with tomatoes doesn't like them) and bread sticks. At first i figured that would be fine but it would also mean another 20 to 30 min wait on top of the hour and a half we had already waited. My husband is diabetic so we decided to just go ahead and cook something quick at home. they offered a refund, telling me to please come up to the store, i explained that we have no way to get there, on disability ECT. she sent her delivery guy (who arrived two hours later) with the refund for the salads and bread sticks. I figured it was all well and good at this point. Id thrown the salad into the fridge, figuring one of the kids might want it and i'm not big on wasting food. As i suspected my three year old was very excited to have a salad and asked for it. I shared it with her. The tomatoes were inedible and sour. picked them out for her and let her keep eating. about halfway threw she turned holding a long white thing and asked what it was. it looked like motzeralla cheese so i told her that's what it was. the salad had come with cheese. She bit into this thing, turned to her dad with a weird look said "daddy, this not cheese" to my shock and horror, i realized she had pulled a white sticker shaped like an eyebrow from her ranch covered salad. needless to say it was thrown away, and her mouth washed out. this kind of thing is caused by carelessness. I debated even posting this review, as the salad had already been refunded anyway, But the fact that my three year old bit into a beauty product in her food, has given me pause. It leaves me wondering what could possibly be happening in that kitchen for something like that to make it's way into the food. I have eaten here a few times, and this was the only time I've had a real complaint. But this snowball of insane circumstances has given me pause. i doubt i will eat there again. I LOVE THIS PLACE! With the earthy atmosphere and friendly service you just can't beat the prices and quality of food you get here. They have the best garlic cheese sticks that you can imagine. And their stuffed pizzas...no where have I ever had better. I'd eat there more often but I have to watch the carbs. Try them out if you haven't. You will NOT be disappointed! read more

Ate there for the first time yesterday and it is my new favorite in Harrison. The service at lunch was excellent, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, the place was clean, and the food was excellent. When we told the waitress that it was our first time in, she took the time to walk up through the menu and describe a lot of the items on it. We decided to try a variety of things - Greek salad, two kinds of subs, Greek pizza, and the Chicken artichoke spinach pasta. All were wonderful and the portions were very large. Don't get the breadsticks. They were overcooked and improperly seasoned. Simply dreadful. The service was ok, but not great. It seemed they were understaffed. The pizza had good flavors, but the crust seemed a bit off. It was the thickness of a pan crust, but the texture of thin crust. read more
