Tony fixed my wife's impala after she got in an accident. The front bumper cover was damaged and needed to be repaired and repainted. Tony handled the insurance adjuster for us at his shop without us having to be there. The paint on the front bumper looks fantastic. My wife could not tell the difference. I've gone to Tony for two things with my car and every time he goes above and beyond! The first time I looked at a few places and got quotes but the second time I went right to him because he did so amazing the first time. He fixed my door handle and painted my back bumper perfectly after I found out it had been previously poorly painted by someone else when it started peeling. It now looks amazing like a brand new bumper and he was able to work around my schedule and get it to me before Christmas Eve, I really feel like this was the best present to me! Rarely does one have as positive an experience as I did with trusting Tony to fix my nearly brand new car with a giant, ugly, deep scrape all along one side. As another reviewer said, Tony is a man of integrity. Equally important, Tony is superb at his skill and takes great pride in his work. I took my fancy schmancy car to two fancy schmancy places for quotes before I found Tony. The two biggest shops in town -- sunny waiting rooms, carnations for your car seat (who falls for that hooey??), dedicated receptionists, schedulers, etc. etc. -- each told me that I absolutely had to have my car door replaced for a big scrape (not a high impact hit) on the side of my car. They each quoted me $$$ and $$$$ for the same job. I went to Tony for a 3rd quote, thinking he would say the same thing, and ended up leaving with a quote for $$ and an exceedingly honest explanation of why I did NOT need to replace the door. Tony's "waiting room" is an old car seat from decades ago and a walls of pictures from his father's era when he ran the place. It's not pretty, but it's charming, and it's telling of a guy that is more focused on getting the job done right than wooing you with wifi and flowers. Even not knowing I already had other quotes, Tony quoted a price WAY less than the other two, and explained that this kind of accident would never damage the safety beam within the door. In short, he could replace the door, but we shouldn't, because it would be unnecessary and more expensive. After researching, I discovered Tony was right. I also discovered Tony is honest. When I picked up my car (same week!!) I couldn't stop smiling. Not only did it look perfect where he fixed it (he had two fix two panels and painted across three!), but he also fixed other some other parts that I had decided against to keep costs down. All that, and not a penny over the quote he gave (which he even reduced when he heard I was paying out-of-pocket!). I am thrilled to have found Tony - he's a genius at his craft, AND he's a great guy. I did some research and based on his only positive reviews, I gave Tony a try. I had some pretty bad paint damage to my back bumper and a few scrapes here and there. I grew up in NY but live in DC now and was coming home for a visit. I called Tony and sent him some pictures of my car- he said he'd take care of it while I was home and gave me a quote. I dropped of the car at 7am and Tony was already in the shop working! The work looks fantastic- paint matches perfect, looks like new again! He got the car done on time, for a very reasonable price (exactly what he quoted), he also threw in extras like washing and vacuuming the car! Tony is absolutely AWESOME!! I got into a small accident with Big Damages on a high end vehicle. Tony gave me a quote that he explained in detail to me and assured me he would have my car taken care of that same day. He had a rental car ready at the shop for me the next morning. Told me due to the type of car I had it may take a little over a week as I had to wait for all new parts to come in. Well Tony did one better! He had my car ready in 4 days and cut my estimate and deductible in half!! He even went the extra mile to clean and detail my car inside/out, fixing a few little things that were lingering about not pertaining to my accident. This shop doesn't care about the money, He cares about the work and detail he puts into his repairs. He thrives on doing a great job! So much so, I don't even think he notices the great customer service and extra mile he takes because its just imbedded in the person he is. Thanks Tony! I've never felt compelled enough to leave a Yelp review until now, so that's how amazing Tony's Collision is! When my rear bumper completely shattered due to backing into a frozen snow pile when it was -20 degrees out last week, I knew I could trust Tony to do the work based off of other Yelp reviews and my interaction with him. He clearly knows what he's doing, is extremely honest, and came up with options with different budgets that you could choose from. I dropped it off Wednesday morning, got a call during the process to let me know how things were going with additional options to make the bumper attach on even better (which, he did not pressure me into purchasing, just kind suggestions), and when I picked it up Friday evening (after taking his suggestion, otherwise it would have been available by Thursday), my car was beautiful with exact paint color match! He even ended up giving me a discounted price which I already deeply appreciated, and I even felt like I should go back in and pay the original price once I realized he had cleaned my car too (vacuumed inside, cleaned exterior)!! Tony's collision is a great body shop. Went there for an initial estimate before going to where my insurance company sent me which was one of the big autobody shops in the area. Since the big shop had a contract with the insurance company I knew they were not going to try to help me out on my deductible at all. So I got my estimate there and went back to Tony's. Tony was honest and gave me two options as to how to get the job done (one of which did save me a significant amount of money). He did a fantastic job on my car and it looks good as new. He even threw in some minor body work for free. Bottom line is, Tony is a great guy and a family man. He genuinely has your best interest at heart and will help you save in any way he can. You can't say that about many body shop guys so I highly recommend! He does work alone so he is not super fast but I got my car back in about 4 days. It was worth the wait! read more
