Theyre very quick!. I have a Nissan altima 2020, New tire cost me $150 , a used one is like $80. I wish they had like a sitting area for customers though. It was super cold outside. read more

Can't recommend Tony's Auto enough. Nick is genuinely the most helpful mechanic that I've ever worked with; He's personable, efficient, upfront and honest. I've had a yearly inspection done at Tony's, as well as a brake pad and rotor replacement. Both were incredibly fairly priced, and I never felt like I was being sold to, or talked down to. Any time I have a question about my car, I know where I'm going. read more

I have a 1988 westy and its very difficult to find people who can work on these cars and make me feel comfortable. But Tony's Auto made me a happy camper, got oil change and overlook on Van. Looking forward to my next appointment read more

Tony's Auto Service - Gas Stations Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The guys here totally saved my ass right before closing on a Friday afternoon- I started to leave town and heard metal scraping the highway, so pretty immediately had to exit and find the nearest garage. I called and asked if they could help, and they stick around for us (even though it ended up making a super quick jack up and fix) and we were SO appreciative!! Nick and his colleague were considerate and really wonderful to us, and didn't even charge for their work. We'll be returning at our next opportunity; highly recommend these kind and efficient folks to anyone! read more

No better auto service in the city. Nick and his crew always do it right the first time, never compromising on parts or ability to do the job. He has kept my 17 year old car running like new, warning me well ahead of time when something will fail. Highly recommended. read more

I chose Tony's because of the proximity to my house and because of the reviews. I was not disappointed. When I first walked by the shop I was greeted by Nick, Tony son who runs things now. I believe Tony was sitting in the office overseeing things, but Nick greeted me with a smile and offered his help immediately. I had a slow leak in the tire and wanted to get it checked out and also got an oil change on top of it. I dropped my the car off and picked it up about three hours later. When the slow leak got worse later I bought four new tires from Nick after he advised me to not wait for a blowout with tires. He's not pushy or manipulative he just says what he thinks and then let you decide, unlike a lot of other mechanics I've been around. All in all a good experience with great customer service that can be a little hard to find in South Philly. read more

Usually, when you walk into a place that works with your car, you expect to be cheated. Sad, but true. Most of us just don't know enough about cars to be protected. So when my expensive import car's AC broke, I groaned and checked my savings account. When I called Tony's Auto Service, I spoke to a super friendly guy (Tony). I was instantly impressed with his professionalism as he talked to me for close to ten minutes while I described my problem. He was friendly, upfront about potential problems and spoke very clearly, all without "talking down" to me. I dropped my car off early in the morning. They didn't haggle or try to get extra work done. He even told me he'd call me in the next few hours to let me know what his diagnostics showed and the potential price. Low and behold, nothing was even wrong with my car's AC. He told me he tested everything and couldn't find any issues. He tried the AC several times and drove my car around the neighborhood to see if the AC was acting up. Nothing!! He called and said come pick it up this afternoon. It's completely fine! Luckily, I only had to pay a small labor fee for them to test my car for a few hours. Tony's Auto Service is a solid, honest company and I will keep coming back when I have car issues. read more

These guys are great to work with! Nick was willing to squeeze me in for a last minute inspection during the busy holiday season. I am so grateful for their fast yet thorough work. Thank you so much to Nick and the crew! I will definitely be coming back for all my auto needs. read more

I just moved to Philly and was worried about finding a new auto mechanic. I came across Tony's website while just browsing the internet and chose it randomly. I was so very pleasantly surprised. Tony and his son run this friendly, clean, honest business. They were very knowledgeable and made sure that they explained everything clearly to me. They only fixed what I asked them to fix for a very reasonable price and made suggestions about what might help it run better. They didn't push me into fixing anything that didn't need to be fixed, they didn't overcharge, and they told me which repairs were important and which ones could wait. I had come in saying somethign needed to be fixed because another mechanic told me it needed to be and the Tony's crew told me that it was not even broken--they could have easily stole my money because I know NOTHING about cars!! (but they didn't!!) On top of this, the people who work here are welcoming, professional but in a casual, friendly way--you'll feel really comfortable. They don't have a voicemail but will call you back if there is a missed call from you. read more

Googled repair shops in Philly and read Yelp reviews. Picked Tony's based on reviews. I had problems with a car I was driving home to another state, and Tony's got my car in immediately and began work on it. They communicated clearly the problems that needed to be fixed, and how much it would cost... and the final cost was as estimated. They really went out of their way to accommodate my needs! read more

Nick is fantastic. He always accommodates me, usually knows what is wrong before I even bring my car in, and is just a great guy. Fair pricing, great service, and they won't try to talk you into getting something you don't need, nor charge for work that's not needed. This is a truly good establishment with family values and good morals! It's been a pleasure having the crew care for my car for almost 5 years now :) read more

We came to them off of 95 South with an urgent unknown problem as we were driving home to Baltimore, and they were awesome! What a great garage; fast, friendly, fair, and courteous service. The mechanics knew their stuff, had a love of cars, and were an old-school South Philly family business. read more

As a car guy, I'm really fussy! Nick is one of the best in the business when it comes to working on Import cars. He is honest, prices are fair and his shop is clean. If you are in South Philly or surrounding area and need work done on your car, I highly this shop! read more

Wonderful place with great staff. They were able to accommodate me on short notice and were very personable, professional, and respectful. Tony took extra time to explain everything to me and make sure I understood what the issues were with my car and made honest recommendations on what really needed to be addressed and what could be done at a later time. Service was very reasonably priced and all charges were cleared with me prior to fixing. I had a truly great experience and will absolutely be returning. I have never been to a shop that has been this caring, friendly, or accommodating. Thank you tony and your team, you guys rock! read more

I contacted Tony's Auto because my car couldn't start. They allowed me to tow my vehicle there and leave it over night at my convience. The person I spoke on the phone with was super respectful, patient, and clear on providing me with options. i ask a lot of questions and I felt that the team was down to earth and understood where I was coming from. I wish I had known about them sooner. These are now my guys. read more

Let me first start by saying that I will never take my car anywhere else ever again! I moved here from Baltimore 4 years ago but still have family there so I go back often. Until recently, when I needed something done on my Nissan Maxima I would take it to the place I had always went to in MD. After a while that obviously got annoying so I decided to stop by Tony's (after reading these stellar reviews!) and WOW I am so happy I did!! Nick is the nicest guy! Sounds crazy but I trusted him immediately and felt comfortable with the work he needed to do on my car. He wasn't pushy, just gave me the facts and his honest opinion when I asked for it. I've been back for an oil change since and was again greeted with the warmest welcome. I even had a "police escort" while I was leaving :) Everything about Tony's Auto Service was enjoyable (well maybe not the actual bill but I do feel like it was incredibly reasonable for all the work they did!). I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone in the Philadelphia area. Like I said before, I will never go anywhere else again. Thanks, Nick! read more

I've brought my Dodge to Nick (Tony's son) since I bought it a year ago. He has helped me take care of some issues the dealer couldn't be bothered with, and he's always laid out my options for me before starting billable work. He's upfront, and while it's never fun to pay for a car repair, it's much easier when you trust your mechanic. read more

Nick was extremely helpful and friendly. I decided to come here because of all the great reviews, and I'm glad I did. Everything was explained to me so that I perfectly understood what was happening and why. My 06 mini was over heating and needed the thermostat replaced, it was all done and back on the road in just a few hours. I would absolutely go back and recommend this place. They treat their customers very well. read more

I recently moved to Philadelphia and wanted my 2006 Mini Cooper looked at to make sure all was running well and tires were in good shape. Tony was very nice on the phone and explained that they would be happy to look at my car and pay attention to any specific concerns. I dropped the car off at 8:00 am and received a call at 10:30 am informing me all looked great with the car and recommendations on future maintenance including time lines. I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism and curtesy Tony provided. I will be sure to return when I do need service in a few months. It is such a relief to find a mechanic that you can trust and is not trying to scam you. Tony earned my service (and recommendation to others) for as long as I live in Philadelphia! read more

I brought my 2007 Maxima over to Nick at Tony's Auto, because it was not driving well at all. He hopped in the car and we went for a ride together, so he could feel what was wrong with the car. Without an appointment, Nick got my car back to me in the same day. I cannot remember the last time this car rode so smooth. Nick was a pleasure to do business with. I will be returning in the future. read more

This place is great. Nick is extremely nice, honest, and genuine. It was a major relief to discover they have pretty much anything I need available on-hand. They got the job done fast and efficiently. I will not take my car anywhere else ever again. Thanks again guys. read more

I was looking around for a new automotive repair shop when I came upon Tony's on Yelp, and after reading the reviews I decided to check them out. Best mechanics I've been to in Philly by far. Nick was an incredibly nice and friendly guy, and they had my car in and out for a state inspection and oil change in no time at all. Nick even called me in the middle of it and kept me updated on the progress since I was out walking around. Friendly, trustworthy people are the kind of people I like to do business with - will definitely be making this my stand-by mechanic. read more
