If I could give zero stars I would, this place was very rude and unprofessional to me, I was planning to get something from the store really quickly cause i had work soon, i try to open the door but it didn't open and i thought i was opening it the wrong way so I try again because this 7-11 says it's open 24/7 then i saw a older lady waving to me and i thought she meant they were closed so i started walking to leave, THEN this rude woman opens the door and starts yelling saying to give her a minute because they are in the middle of a shift change and continue to raise her voice AT ME saying that i was about to break her door and that caught me off guard i'm not the type of person to argue but this lady was so rude and kept yelling at me and all i said was okay have a nice day because i'm not going to let someone make me angry. read more

This morning I awoke to find that one of the tires on my car had become flat enough to make me aware that I finally had to do something about it. (I'd been ignoring this minor problem all week.)So, I slowly and carefully drove over to the Sunoco station on 10th and Washington. I found the air pump and then to my chagrin, realized it cost 50 cents. I knew I didn't have any cash on me. So I went inside and talked to the guy at the counter and asked if there was a nearby ATM so I could get money for the air pump... He looked at me funny and then he said, "It's okay, just use THAT one hun." He was pointing at a green air hose...the one that the repair men use for the auto shop. Yay, I thought. That was nice of him! So I dragged the hose to my car as I smiled nervously at the repair men who were probably wondering what I was up to. I then realized I had never pumped air before and I had no idea what I was doing. After they saw me fumbling around, one of the guys came out and put the air in my tire for me. I was very thankful because they were really nice about the whole thing. Infact, after I thanked them one of the guys said, "Ok, be careful hun!" Oh my word. I do NOT say this often, but I would give negative stars if I could. I will NEVER do business with these people. It is pot-hole-mageddon out there and I came here with a flat. I filled my tire with air and then went to start my car and EEK ... the battery wouldn't start. I went inside to ask if someone could give me a jump and they looked at me like I went to the counter and ordered a 5 piece mcnugget and a large fry. Here is a break down of what happened: Woman #1 : Completely clueless and for some reason is holding 4 hot dogs - calls woman #2 from the back office. Woman #2: -First response (when she thinks I can't hear her) "Who is it for" she comes out.. -Second response (after seeing me) is that I can...wait for a customer to be willing to help me - but wait do I have jumper cables? No?... OK here you can...BUY JUMPER CABLES (from her) AND ASK A STRANGER TO HELP (um, does no one who works here have a car?) Man #1: -This guy pops out of no where and offers to drive me to Pep Boys on Delaware Ave to buy a new battery.. then I can do some kind of scheme where I have a friend pick me up and come help me install the new battery. You know, my friend the auto mechanic who I forgot about before asking these people. They then look at each other and look seriously confused that I would ask someone at a gas station for help. Woman #2 says that if I have road side assistance this is the time to use it. Someone then made a comment that I was blocking the air machine (boo hoo). I walked outside, ready to throw something... and then I see across the street there is an Advanced Auto Parts store. I walked across the street and they gave me a portable jumper to get the car started. How the morons at this place don't know that store exists is beyond me. I think they just are a**holes who make that part of the city a place that is not attractive to my demographic and that is why it is still a pot hole covered crap land of nothing. read more

I had a weird experience here last night. I pulled up to one of the pumps and started to pump my gas when a Sunoco employee came out and asked if I needed help. "No, that's OK, I'm fine, thanks," I said. "Well this is full serve," he said. "That's OK, I can do it myself." "It's full serve and I have to do it for you," he said. Full service in PA? That's a new one. The pump wasn't marked as full serve. I asked if it cost more to let him do it. Yes, he replied -- it's FOUR DOLLARS A GALLON if he pumps it for me. I had never heard of anything so outrageous. He cancelled my transaction for me, I asked him if there were no any self-serve pumps, and he said to back my car up a few feet and use the next one down, so I did. With gas prices as high as they are now, this place wants people to pay even more for something that they can do themselves? It would almost make a little sense if this gas station was just over one of the bridges to cater to people from NJ, but it's not. So weird. read more

It's a gas station. All I want is my gas to get me where I want to go I don't need no Slurpees or tastykakes from the Kwikemart inside Jesus. Look, if you're pulling in off Washington going east the first pump that makes any sense to stop at is like an obtuse child. Or an opaque child. I don't remember much of what I learned in school but that doesn't mean I don't have a voice. And I have to tell you that this pump doesn't give me gas. Not like my lady friends cooking does. I try to use my debit card and then it asks me for my phone number and to swipe my rewards card. What is this, Vietnam? Debit card, punch in the code, release the gas! But it doesn't. I don't know why. I should probably go inside and tell them but there's probably a communication barrier. I never remember from the time before so every time I pull up to the same pump and it gets me again. I look up to the sky and think "Jesus take me now!" read more

I took my vehicle there for state inspection about 6 years ago. I needed a screw for my headlight for adjustment and instead of holding up inspection for permission for such an inexpensive part, they used common sense and put it on and told me about it when my van was ready. GREAT! I have been going back ever since (now 2009) I also had my van die on the road one day, they called someone to get my van and take it there and give me a ride to where I gad to go!
