I was never the one that would put on makeup everyday, but I do care about skincare and a clean face. From a teen to 20s I've used a lot of different brands of products that didn't seem to work on my face or gave bad reactions, especially when I'm acne prone and on a budget. I looked into Korean skincare and found this place.
At first when we went in, the representative was at the back and seemed busy even though I would like some advice on the products. After being able to find her, she was helpful and attentive. She gave her suggestions on what lines I should use based on my combination of normal/dry/sensitive and acne prone skin. Like the previous review, I wasn't pushed into buying the products. She also suggested just trying out a toner and emulsion instead of the whole set first. The skincare products are about $30-40 each, which is affordable compared to high brand products.
I also look at the ingredients as to what I'm using, and some of these skincare products would have alcohol and fragrance in them, which may or may not give my face reactions. After much thought, I went for their goat milk line. Bought the toner and emulsion, cleaning dew, and snail gel. She also gave samples based from what we previously looked at/discussed, which was really nice of her.
So far the goat milk toner and emulsion is perfect, it hasn't given me any breakouts so far. The product absorbed pretty quick on my skin, but doesn't feel heavy or oily. I woke up with a supple soft face. The blemishes and some small acne seemed to have lessened or calmed down, which could be the work of the cleaning dew because of the tea tree water in the ingredient. There's a little fragrance, which I prefer there wasn't any, but it's tolerable/faint in floral smell and didn't give me a reaction.
I have not tried the snail gel on my face but the dry hands, and it hydrates/absorbs without being greasy either.
I would definitely come back and buy should the products work. read more
