Absolutely great burgers and fantastic male bartender. Always just forget his name. Always a fantastic time going there.

I went to Tony D's last night to watch the band Arklight (Chicago's best Classic Rock/Rock/Alternative) cover band. The band was fantastic I definitely recommend checking them out on Facebook super fun show. They played at Tony D's which was a nice larger bar, perfect atmosphere and setup for concerts and birthday parties or just to watch a sports game with a beer. Drink prices were reasonable as well. Service was a bit slow but I think it's because they were so busy for the concert. Overall, a nice place to see a cover band and have a beer - it gets crowded concert nights fyi.

Okay if I was just judging the burger this would be a 4.5 out of five but I have to judge it also on their pricing of the burger. This burger was $16.99 and a lot of the other burgers were around 18.99 and I'm sorry but that is kind of a lot for a burger? The service was prompt, the burger was insanely good, And the place seem clean. However, some other seating looked very uncomfortable and the stools look too small for the tables. I think they could upgrade and make this place a tad more comfortable. I like how they have a bunch of different themed nights and deals throughout the week. Friday they had live music. Definitely recommend not coming during a sound check cuz my ears are still recovering. However, all in all I probably will be back for Taco Tuesday.

Their cheese curds / cheese balls are absolutely amazing! I've been here twice and loved each visit. I attended their Nutcracker painting event, which was free as long as you purchased a drink. The staff and bartenders are super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back!

I had the Patty Melt and French Fries and it was very good! Sat at the bar so the service was pretty quick during lunch. There are a ton of tables around with sports on TV, so nice.

I must say that I didn't have high hopes walking into this place but the burger however came back better than what I was expecting. I could tell the ingredients were fresh but maybe the flavor of the burger could have been better. The fries weren't bad but they weren't good either. Overall it was a mediocre meal and it did the job for me. The owner, Tony, seemed out of it and the poor waitress was the one running the place for the most part. Would I eat here again? Probably not. Do I recommend this place for a quick bite if you're in a rush? Yes.

SLOW service. Was there on football Sunday and yes, it was busy as they should expect. Service was extremely slow. I would not recommend.

A short fuse and a close call…read more After Emily and I checked in to our hotel room, we wanted to stretch our legs and see if there was anything nearby for some beer and some food. Turns out, Short Fuse was right up the road and a 5 minute walk got us there. For a Sunday, it wasn't too busy but not dead, so we got seated right away. We ordered some beer and took a look at the menu. While nothing really struck our fancy, our waitress made a comment that if we did want any food, it might be slim pickings as they were running out of stuff. Turns out, this day was the last day they were open. Talk about timing! After she mentioned that, I started to notice that people were buying bar signs and various other things. Emily started off with a Guava Gose and I grabbed a Krankshaft kolsch. We sampled each other beers and we both really liked what the other ordered. I don't really know what a gose is but, damn, was that good! I've had Krankshaft before so I knew what I was getting myself in to. We ended up ordering a second round of the same beers and let each other sample the other's beer a little more liberally this time. While we were kind of hungry, nothing on the menu really struck our fancy, especially considering they might've been out of it. Room service took care of those hunger pangs later after a few more beers in the hotel bar. Online reviews for this place seemed hit and miss but I really enjoyed my time there and really enjoyed the artwork on the walls and the vibe of the place. We did contemplate buying some bar signs on our way out but declined as we don't know what we would exactly do with them. It sucks to see a small business close but they did say they may try to open up a new place in a new location in the future.

The dishes were a little more spicy than the spice levels we requested but they had great flavor, so maybe order down one spice level than usual. The naan has a beautifully soft texture and is very fresh. Our server was helpful and attentive. The place has a comfortable feel to it but the lighting was a bit too blue/cool. Portions were reasonable for the price. Would come back to try other dishes on the menu.

I met the owner Rutiv who is very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming at Taste of Elmwood Park (which by the way is a great way to preview foods from local restaurants) when I tried their Philly steak sandwich, we had it again today. The sandwich was delicious, I would have liked the bread toasted to a crunchy element but was still a good sandwich. For an appetizer we had Samosa (similar to an empanada in concept) this was filled with peas and potatoes which were seasoned nicely and when accompanied with the turmeric sauce was awesome. The turmeric sauce added spice and a new level of flavor. We also tried the marsala fries, they were regular crinkle, cut fries, but with a special flavor of marsala; also very tasty. I ordered the Goat Curry marinated goat cooked in a homemade cashew gravy. I also ordered garlic naan which was phenomenal; the goat was season well and very tender, it also came with Jeera which is a light rice that you can literally sprinkleon the curry instead of being clumpy like regular white rice. Using the naan as a vessel to eat, the dish, took it to a whole new level. Glenda tried the mango lassi, which is basically a shake made with mango, ice cream, and shaved almonds on top. That drink was cool and refreshing. We will definitely return to this restaurant, there are a few more things that I would like to try. I give this restaurant 5 stars, Ciao Ciao for now. please give it a try and let me know your opinion.

Welcoming, comfortable, and the kind of place that makes you want to become a regular. Everything we've tried has been excellent. Our go-to order has been the wings and the chicken Caesar salad, which are both consistently delicious. But today we tried the Shia LaBuffalo Bowl, and WOW it was absolutely incredible. And honestly, the name alone deserves bonus points. So clever! We cannot wait to try the rest of their menu, EVERYTHING sounds delicious. We have to give a huge shoutout to Katie behind the bar. She makes us feel at home every single time we visit. She's warm, friendly, funny, and an exceptional bartender. I'm pretty particular about an Aperol Spritz, and Katie makes my favorite spritz in the city. She also makes an amazing mango margarita and a fantastic spicy watermelon marg. Great food, amazing drinks, and the kind of hospitality that keeps you coming back. We absolutely love this place and highly recommend checking it out. You won't be disappointed!
