We chose to work with Edgar because his bid price was about 25% lower than his competitors, and he showed a careful attention to detail when walking around both properties to assess their needs. He understood that we were getting ready to sell both properties and made thoughtful recommendations about the most impactful but cost-effective actions, like cleaning the roofs and only pressure washing areas where the paint was still in good condition. At no time did he try to "upsell" us on unnecessary repairs. His communication was exemplary, providing updates in advance regarding his weather-dependent work schedule so that we could, in turn, let the tenants know when he would be onsite. He shared pictures of any fascia repairs that were required and charged a fair price for the replacement lumber. When finished, he walked around both properties with us to make sure we were satisfied before accepting any final payment. We need our home cleaned the day before Christmas Eve and they were able to do it. Unfortunately right before our appointment some of their cleaners were out sick BUT I was able to work with the company and they still came over the day they were scheduled and were even willing to try to get help from other cleaners in the area to complete the job. Because our home is so large and they didn't have their full team and we wanted a top to bottom clean our home was going to take 2 days. So they did our main living spaces and bedrooms first on request and saved the lower level for the next day. But then giant snow storm happened and we ended up needing to clean ourself. No big deal we were only charged for the work completed and they were very understanding when we canceled the second half. Would highly recommend this company. They didn't follow the Manual instructions and mainly did not remove the Aluminum roof plastic which was highlighted in the Manual that you must remove it. Now my Aluminum roof will work as plastic roof as I won't be able to put heater inside the Gazebo. Also, they did not follow which nails/screws goes where from Manual. They put any screws anywhere. I hope this Gazebo doesn't fall on our head one day. I wouldn't recommend these people.

When I finally dig an inspector out, he said there was no issue whatsoever and that I was fine to just clean up some minor water spots on an interior window and do a better job caulking. I finally went for a second opinion, and not only did they find the nails were not galvanized and installed on top of the roof instead of on the side, water had leaked in quite drastically leading to a $3000 repair. This other company literally walked on top of my roof and with her bare hands, picked up the entire tack strip that is supposed to keep things glued down. She couldn't believe the nails that were used and the placement but more so, that this was said to be 'no issue' by a professional. Your guy that came out to investigate literally never even put his hand on it to wiggle it around and see if there was an issue, he just looked - no ladder, just climbed part of my balcony and looked. If I had listened to him and just caulked the interior window so that more water wouldn't have come through, this would've continued and become an absolutely horrific problem. I know customer service agents aren't always a reflection of the company but this gentleman was a 'master installer' his words. I'm not sure what there is more to say, but as a business owner you may want to know. As an aside, I do appreciate that even months later, someone responded to this. I do hope things work out as your company continues to change.
