Have had several haircuts from Michelle now, and I am very impressed with the amount of time and effort she spends with me to ensure that I am satisfied. She has gone above and beyond each time and I am fairly particular about my cuts. After only one appointment, she remembered exactly how I wanted the cut, didn't have to remind her in the least. Always very professional and friendly, as well as is the rest of the staff. Even if I didn't live only a half a block down the street, I will only be getting my haircuts here. Thank you Michelle! read more

I this is my second and last time to visit this Toni and Guy location. The first time we came here my daughter (age 12) had an appointment. The appointment went find and i scheduled a follow up appointment for today. When the salon called to confirm that appointment I asked that a second appointment be made for me. At this time I learned the "customer account" was in my daughter's name. I declined to set up a second account under my name and explained she was a minor and I would be making all her appointments therefore there only needed to be one account under my name The receptionist assured me I could change the "account" to my name and make all appointments going forward. Today, upon arriving the receptionist stated this wasn't possible and we had to have separate accounts. Despite explaining my 12 year old does not have a cell phone to make or confirm appointments or a debit or credit card to secure them with and I do not, as a matter of principle, make accounts of this nature anywhere for my minor child I was told that was my only option and there was no one else I could speak to When I said I'd just cancel our appointments the receptionist seemed to find humor in this and said that was fine but we would be charged a cancellation fee of $50 for each appointment Not wanting to lose $100 I briefly considered staying but after conversing with my husband decided the parenting decisions we make for our child's privacy trump a nonsensical hair salon policy I left and was again told I'd be charged $100. No one cared the salon lost business. No one cared I made it clear we'd never be back. I am absolutely sure this will result in no change to the salons policies or customer treatment as the woman who so poorly handled this situation made it clear she was a supervisor and there was no one else I could speak to But, if you're looking for a salon to take your tween daughter to that respects you as a parent and the procedures you have in place for your child - this is not it. If you're looking for a salon who values their clientele - this is also not it read more

I had an appointment with Paige this morning and really enjoyed my time @ the salon. Everything was clean and all staff members were professional. Paige took the time to get to know me and what I was wanting done to my hair before she got started. I was pleasantly surprised with the services provided by this salon. I will for sure be going back!! read more

Tori did a great job giving me exactly the haircut and style I described and was very friendly. I enjoyed a complimentary mimosa. I do not have any Toni and Guy educated stylists near where I live, so I try to work them in when possible when I travel; they know how to give a great haircut and to me it's worth the price. read more

Toni & Guy - Inversion haircut and bouncy blowout - Hair Salons Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Got a very short cut which I love. Quality was the best and I highly recommend Joseph. The atmosphere was busy and energetic.

I told my stylist that the back of my hair was too short, and the hair around the temples was too heavy. I wanted those two things fixed and a bang trim. When I left, the back was too short, the hair around the temples was too heavy, and the bangs were too long. I drove 300 miles round trip and spent $120 plus tip to get the very same haircut that I did not like in the first place. I will not be back. read more

I was supposed to get a full head of highlights. What I got was my hair over processed and damaged going half way down instead of the full length. My goal was to go back to my natural honey blonde and left with near platinum. Definitely not worth the amount of money they charge. After she washed my hair out she started to brush it and HUGE balls of hair were coming out (I had simi-long thick hair) the amount of hair was astounding never have I had that much come out and I've bleached my hair before this. read more

Terrible experience every single time. My sister went to Toni & Guy to get her hair fully highlighted & the hairdresser burned the back of her head with the bleach, & then when brought to the managers attention my sister was told it was her fault for having box dye underneath the bleach, which caused the reaction. None of that was ever mentioned before hand & the stylist still continued to bleach her hair. My personal experience with Toni & guy was that I booked an appointment with one stylist, then when I got there, I was booked with another stylist who completely ruined my hair with choppy unblended layers. I am a minor so I was not sure how to deal with the situation & decided to trust this stylist. After my appointment I was very upset with my hair & booked another appointment & brought the situation to the company, providing the confirmation code with the stylist I wanted as well. But when I showed up to my rebooked appointment, I got the times wrong & now am faced with a late fee. Called manager who apparently didn't know the owner or anytime the owner would be available, & also told my mom that "I'm sorry your 16 year old couldn't speak up" & "you still have to pay because you messed up the times". I wouldn't have even had to pay or book to get my hair redone if it weren't for Toni & guy giving me a hair stylist I didn't trust. read more

Such a nice salon! It's in a super ritzy part of Fort Worth but the people here are super down to earth. If you are looking for an amazing hair cut ask for Lauren C. Shes been doing hair for a long time. Plus when she washed my hair it was like 5 minutes of scalp massages. IYKYK. Will be returning when I need a color done! read more

Toni & Guy - Layered cut by Lauren C. - Hair Salons Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

very unprofessional, I asked for white blonde hair, my hair was lighter than this when i came in, she made me orange and did not let bleach sit long enough because she wanted me to come back and pay for another session. (what i am realizing now is that she just did not want to complete my hair because she wanted me to come back and pay again ) when the bleach could of been left in for the correct result i left with orange hair (worse than the hair i came in with) she let the bleach sit in my roots for 20 minutes and only left the bleach on the rest of my hair for 10, resulting in 2 different colors. my roots were the color i wanted and the rest of my hair was orange. Even while she was doing my hair i noticed my hair was 2 completely different colors, i mentioned how i didn't like it. she didn't care and wanted to do it her way. she then blamed my body heat for making the color difference. then i was crying it was so bad she said i could come in for her to fix it. she told me to go to her other location 45 minutes away from me, so I spent time and money ubering to her second salon on the same day. I went and as soon as she left the bleach in it was the light color close to what i wanted and at least my hair was the same color. yet tried to make me pay 100 after i already paid for the service. I did not feel as if i should pay again as if she just messed up my hair and left it 2 different colors the first time. i offered her half of the 100 she wanted. and she told me i wasnt allowed back because i was unhappy with the first time she did my hair. i will not be coming back to this salon very unprofessional. Not nice workers very sketchy read more

I had Alana and she gave me a wonderful haircut. I would recommend her any day. She did a five star job.

I was so torn when I received the hair service I did because I had been a client of Toni & Guy for a year or so. Always for cuts, never for color... but I never thought I'd leave the way I did. I wasn't a fan of the color from the getco but I was trying to be understanding. The thing that really upset me is that the hairstylist didn't say anything about the way it looked from behind, nor did the person helping her dry my hair. Did they really not see what I saw when I got home orrrr? Either way, very disappointed and I will never go back to this salon. I made a hair review on my color experience if you guys are interested in watching what happened in depth. Just search Evelyn Valles on YouTube. https://youtu.be/X7INfp-JY0Y read more

From the first phone call to confirm my appointment to the final payment and walking out the door, the staff was not friendly at all. The woman doing my hair was nice enough but I told her this was the first time I was ever going darker in my entire life and I was nervous. She offered no comfort or support. Then she had another client to take care of while I was finishing up. Didn't have time to blow dry my hair for me and passed me on to her friend who got it 60% dry and told me I was done. Then charged me almost $200 for hair that was still wet. The color turned out just okay.. I wanted to walk out of the salon feeling good about myself and confident in my decision, but I just felt crappy. read more

This was my 2nd Tony & Guy shop in a day as the first one only put me with a stylist who could cut, and not a colorist. Already disappointed they didn't explain that to my bf when he booked me a surprise Appt for Valentines. When he found out, he got me into this one so I could also get it colored. I wanted a brunette balayage. I was specific in saying I didn't want blonde or highlights. Guess what I walked out with?! Blonder hair than when I went in, and blond coming out of my roots! I said I didn't want that because of growth and having to get it touched up more often. We decided color would start closer to my eyebrow/ear mine. I don't like it at all. When I asked her about it, she said it would fade, which it won't fade from blonde to brunette anytime soon or like that at all. I asked her about my roots, and she said it'll grow out, which yea but go through that awkward, look like I need to get it done stage. Not happy at all. The look is completely wrong and everything I said I didn't want. Will not be returning since they don't listen at all. Shouldn't have to go to 2 salons since they can't tell a man, who just said I wanted to get my hair done, that everyone can't do everything, and that they don't listen to their clients visions at all either. read more

I had an appointment that had been scheduled for 4 weeks at the Clearfork location. It was confirmed by phone 2 days prior. When I arrived this afternoon; it had been cancelled. No note or reason given in the booking. They are now requiring a credit card to even schedule an appointment. I am an established client with no missed appointments. Really sad, they must have more business than they can handle and customer service is not important to them. Loved myvstylist, but won't be disrespected. ~Twila read more

Went to get my curly/short hair cut after reading good reviews (clearly not on Yelp) about Michelle. Cutting to the chase (haha), they were laughing at me when I left because it looked so bad. She kept asking me if I wanted her to cut more here or there. I kept telling her that it looked bad, but I'm not the expert. When she asked me to style it the way that I would do it, I asked her to style it the way she envisioned it. If I'm paying someone a bunch of money to do my hair, I sort of expect them to know what to do -- I honestly don't want to have to tell them, I mean I'm not a hair engineer. So unless you just need 1/2 inch taken off the bottom of your long, straight hair, this is probably not the place for you! read more

My first experience with this salon was Terrible with a capital T. Not much worse than a colorist who doesn't listen nor pay attention to the pictures you brought. I asked for 3 1/2 to 4 inches to be cut off. After I left I realized that the hairstylist didn't show me the back of my hair. I then walked past a reflective building and realized she had chopped off 6 inches of hair. Don't risk your hair by going here. I will never be returning again. read more

Save your scalp the torture!! I went for a blowout today which is typically relaxing in like a treat. I thought it was clear when I booked that I would like to have curls added apparently not so I asked the salon stylist if we could put volume at the top and curls at the bottom she said she could do it with a round brush. I have no problem paying extra for what I want. She was incredibly rough and had to apologize more than once for just trying to pull through tangles when round brushing my hair pulling my hair away from my scalp. and at the end she said oh I wasn't able to achieve volume your hair's too long and there was no round brush girl at the end or anything it is bone straight with plenty of volume at the bottom. I got the pleasure of paying $45 for scalp pain just to go home and add what I want to my hair. I also loved how the stylish tried to just the smoke up my skirt saying how it was so shiny and smooth forgetting the fact that it was nothing that I asked for. Save your money and go to blow dry bar I was just trying to find somewhere a little closer to my house my bad read more

Very poor customer service for the price they charge. I've been treated much better and with more courtesy at other places. Very poor job, specially at the front desk. Their no- show policy is ridiculous (they wanted to mark my appointment as a no-show and charge 100% of the price for showing a couple of minutes after the 10 minute grace period! Even though I'm a regular customer, always left a good tip, and called them on my way there to tell them I was a bit late). Trust me, they are all about your money, not your haircut. WHITNEY @ ClearFork did a beautiful job with my color! I went in very wishy-washy on making a change, she took the time to listen and she came up with the perfect solution. I had a great hair day with Andrew at Toni and Guy Clearfork! I got exactly what I wanted and asked for! Happy client today!!

I have had my hair colored and cut at Toni & Guy Clearfork multiple times and today was my absolute straw. I am still working to grow out my hair from the last disaster. The colorist today was nothing short of TERRIBLE. FORTY mins behind, rushing, got the dark dye meant for my roots on my the highlights of my hair. Her response when I pointed it out? Sorry, I was rushing and accidentally dropped some. I have a wedding on Saturday and now have to pay again for somewhere else to fix it. I will never go back as long as I live. I am patient and kind to a fault, but between the multiple hair color tragedies and my horrific haircut last time, I will never go back. Do not risk it if you consider yourself high maintenance when it comes to you hair. You will thank me later. read more
