Pick 2 BBQ soup noodle $6.99
Linda L.

As much as I love to sit down dining at nice restaurants, sometimes it's also great to check out some cheap eats that are also really delicious. I am so happy that I found Tong Ha Supreme BBQ! I stumbled upon Tong Ha as I walked around the Silver Star plaza deciding which restaurant I should go to for lunch. I have been to this plaza many times for years as it has many fan favourite restaurants like Aka-Oni Izakaya, Chat Bar, and Deer Garden Signature. However, I never knew they also have a whole food court tugged in the building! Tong Ha is one of the fast food booth at the food court, and it was the busiest so naturally I wanted to see what makes them so popular! I got this Pick 2 BBQ Soup Noodle, and can you believe that it's only $6.99?! You get to pick from their list of BBQ items and I chose Roast Duck and BBQ Spare Ribs. We also got a Pick 3 BBQ on Rice and that was only $8.50 as well, such amazing value indeed.

Ordered half a roasted duck, 1 lb of roasted pork and BBQ pork in noodle soup through Fantuan food delivery app for under $30 the other day! The duck was tender and moist, the BBQ pork also tasted great. Not sure if the noodles were too hot when packaged for delivery they were way too soft when I ate it. Will definitely go back!

If there is an option for zero star, I would do it. Went there this morning to purchase half a duck and 1 pound of BBQ pork belly rib (have to pay extra), when I got home, my 1 pound of BBQ pork rib turned into super lean part of pork, that's right, good old "switch-a-roo"!!! Happened more than once already, they are very dishonest!!! BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT GO HERE TO PURCHASE ANYTHING!!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

Whole roast duck for $26 tax included.

They have reopen! Bought a whole roast duck a few weeks ago. We lucked out because they brought out fresh ones! The skin was still a bit crispy when we got home. The duck meat was well marinated as I could taste the marinade and spices in the meat (star anise etc.). Not overly salty at all. Tip: Drink some hot tea to cut the fattiness of the duck. 5 stars for their roast pork (pay a little more for the belly ("Siu lauhm"), if available), char siu, and roast duck. I'd pass on their free run chicken, other places make a better one.

Ordered the two assorted bbq with noodle soup. Super amazing and yummy would come again

I now declare Tong Ha Supreme BBQ makes Supreme BBQ Pork (Cha Shiu) in Scarborough or even in GTA. Good quality ingredients result in good products. The BBQ Pork has this perfect mix of lean and fat. So moist, so soft and so tasty! See how nice the marblization that pork has in the photos!

Some real good BBQ pork!

Crunchy skin, tender meat, great mix of fatty and lean, well sliced. No need to drag out a review. This place serves outstanding barbeque pork. I would say that I'll come back to try the duck, but seriously, I'll probably get the same thing over and over.

DONT BUY FROM TONG HA I recently purchased food from this restaurant TONG HA through uber eats, i was eating my food when I FOUND A COCKROACH in my food. I wrote a review the same day,. reported this to uber eats and found that TONG HA had responded to my review stating it was inaccurate or a fake claim. I found this to be regrettably disturbing since i was providing them an opportunity to take responsibility and issue an apology, instead although Uber Eats reported my claim to them along with my supporting photos to back up my claim. TONG HA has denied and they probably will report this to Google and have it taken down. but I will continue to post this for the safety of the public and for general awareness. I understand the food industry is going through tough times because of the pandemic, but this should not excuse the health and safety of their customers, disregarding any sanitary protocols, or from taking any accountability for what they provide to their customers. TONG HA has asked for photo evidence. i posted my original post to see if they would take accountability, but since they have not. be careful what you ask for. I am supporting this review with the following photos: a) PHOTO EVIDENCE of the COCKROACH in my food, which unfortunately i did not discover until after a few bites of my food. I shared this to Uber but decided not to share publicly, until now. b) My receipt from Uber eats which totals, $0, because they refunded my food but charged me for my tip for the delivery which i understand but do not agree with just a refund for compensation. I also have uploaded a screenshot of my conversation reporting this to Uber Eats. c) Lastly, i have uploaded a screenshot of my original post with google and the response from TONG HA, which i find equally disgusting than the cockroach in my food. Since Uber reported this to them, they still have the audacity to deny my claim. TONG HA, let me know if my claim is FAKE now?

Their tofu is fresh and delicious, and has a tendency to get sold out before I go. Boo. But when I get some, it's always great. On my last visit (Sunday afternoon), I was a tad apprehensive about getting the char siu, because it didn't look particularly aesthetically pleasing on the outside. I'm not saying it looked bad, because it in no way looked bad. I'm just saying it didn't look quite red enough and glossy enough. I suppose I should really appreciate that it wasn't any redder, because the red comes from coloring. I ordered it anyways, because I know their char siu is usually quite on point. I was right. When he sliced up my char siu, the inside was ridiculously juicy and tender and looked absolutely incredible. It tasted incredible too. It helps that they gave us lots of that sweet, sticky glaze on top of our char siu. Mmmm. So good. And the pricing is good too. At $6.99/lb, I can get lots and lots and lots of char siu. Yeah. I didn't wait until dinner to have some. As soon as I got home, I grabbed a toothpick and snuck a few pieces. ^-^

Ever since the food court shrunk due to the fact that they're adding another retail space, it was extremely crowded on a Tuesday afternoon. Like always, the longest lineups were at Canton Kitchen and Tong Ha BBQ. My sister and I shared the BBQ Pork and Soya Chicken on Rice, while my grandma had the Roast Pork and Roast Duck combination on Rice. The BBQ Pork looked aesthetically pleasing, and it sure was tasty with enough flavour. The Soya Chicken was good too, however it was still pretty bloody on the inside. My grandma enjoyed the Roast Duck and Roast Pork, but said that the Pork was on the saltier side. There were barely any pieces of that crispy skin which was disappointing cause that's the best part! Both dishes were only $16 with so definitely not bad if you're looking for other options at the food court.

For what reason why the meat have to put into vertical shape instead of it's pig shape????

I ended up being super impressed by the quality and tatse of the dishes! Some of our faves included the garlic marinated brisket and the rib-eye. Meat was good quality and there were lots of options for side dishes, such as sushi, chicken wings, or your more typical kimchi/beansprouts/spinach etc. It is BUSY, be prepared to wait. You can make a reservation with 6 people but you'll still wait a bit. Loud, but vibey! Servers were very attentice and super patient. Where improvement could be made, honestly, is upgrading to an ipad or some sort of ordering system. This would lighten the load on the servers and keep things a bit more organized-- we had a couple things we had to order a few times before they showed up.

My favourite is the burnt ends, which has a sweet smoky taste to them. But other offerings are great too, from the really tender brisket, to the glistening pork belly, the creamy potato salad, and a peach cobbler that grandma would approve. Really disappointing experience…read more I placed a $200+ Uber Eats order for myself and guests on a Friday night, expecting a reliable dinner from a BBQ restaurant. Instead, I waited over an hour with no update. When I finally called the restaurant to check on the order, I was casually told that it had been cancelled because they ran out of food. The problem is that no one bothered to notify me. No message in the app, no call -- nothing. I was simply left waiting for over an hour for an order they apparently already knew they couldn't fulfill. What made it worse was the attitude on the phone. The person I spoke with was rude and dismissive, with no apology or attempt to make the situation right. Now I'm told the refund could take up to 10 business days to return to my credit card. Running out of food happens. Ignoring a $200+ order for over an hour on a Friday night and then being rude to the customer is unacceptable. Plenty of better BBQ options in the city -- I won't be ordering from here again.

It served that soft round sweet bun reminiscent of Chick-fil-A. The brisket barbecue beans are exactly that. Barbecue beans, with a slight spice to it and some big chunks of brisket. Yum! The brisket sandwich is also excellent. They asked if I wanted it in slices or chopped and I had it chopped and loved it. The barbecue sauce is more in the ketchup beside, but that's fine. Coleslaw is OK. The serving of cornbread is small for the price. They don't serve barbecue chicken, which I found surprising but I love the brisket and the turkey and will be going back for more!
