This place is so good that I've started stopping here every time I drive home to So Cal from seeing my mom in Sonoma County. So far I've only gotten burritos since they're easier to eat while driving but both kinds I've had -- alambre and nopalero -- have been outstanding. They're huge and each element has flavor. My Veggie tacos were jam packed with flavors. The squash was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My beans and other veggies complemented each other in perfectly orchestrated symphony. Three tacos was a complete meal especially with hand crafted tortillas. Loved every bite and appreciate the love the passion that was poured into my meal. I hope I get a chance to come back tomorrow for more because it will be most likely my last authentic dining out Mexican meal before returning to Meridian. Just tried this place today for the first time. I'm super particular about my burritos and how I like them. I got a surf and turf burrito and my god it was freaking delicious. Perfect balance of ingredients, great texture, seasoning and tasted super fresh. I also got a surf and turf taco, Al pastor quesa taco and a birria quesa taco which were all crazy good. Super good crunch on the shell for the al pastor taco and birria taco. My wife got carne asada nachos which she loved as well. Would have posted pics had I not eaten it so fast. I'm a sucker for asada tacos so it's my go too but I decided to try their hawaiiana tacos the other day and they are yummy!! The tortillas are so delicious I believe those were their homemade tortillas but they were so good and the side of onion, jalapeño, lemon, radishes and carrots does not go unnoticed in my book! It's that extra step which puts them above the rest in my opinion. They are quick and food is always fresh. Their service is amazing. Karla is the one that takes my order and she is always warm and inviting and so easy to order with. It's also so cool they have vegan, vegetarian, keto options. Their agua Frescas are fire. Great burritos within the Stockton area! I should throw a disclaimer that Im an out of towner and did not think this was the best burrito ever, but this is still some high quality stuff. I was shocked that I didn't feel like shit after eating one, but perhaps shrimp was easier on the stomach without all the grease. For me I enjoyed the super, as I like the gooey cheese. The avocados, pico, and rice were just the right amount. The burrito holds up without getting soggy and falling apart. They get busy pretty quick during the weekdays, but at 11:45AM on a Monday, I got my burrito within 16 minutes. read more

I went here today for the last time. The cashier/owner accused me of trying to scam her today. I ordered 2 burritos paid almost 30 bucks. I paid for extra meat and sour cream. I ended up getting little to no meat and no sour cream. She had the nerve to tell me that she felt like she was getting scammed by me by taking a picture of another restaurants burrito. I had the pleasure of grabbing a late lunch here earlier this week. Having lived in Reno the last year and a half, I've missed the Stockton food truck scene, especially the offerings on the frontage road of Pacific near Ben Holt, in front of CVS/Grocery Outlet/Chuck-E-Cheese, etc. The beautiful art on Tonantzin caught my eye, and I can always go for some taco truck, so I decided to try it. I picked out 3 different tacos - one veggie, one skirt taco w/ burnt cheese and birria, and one standard carne asada taco. All three were delicious! I almost left without an agua fresca, but ended up ordering the strawberry mango and was glad I did. The truck is also woman-owned and operated, which I love to see! Delicious!! This isn't your typical taco truck/trailer. The ingredients taste fresh, and delicious!! There are so many options for anyone -- including vegetarians! I was told to come here to try the deep fried quesadilla and I got the vegetarian one -- it was AMAZING! I highly recommend trying this! This place is ridiculously good even taking out the prices. They have regular burritos for $5. It is more than enough to fill up the average male and probably 2 meals if your a female. Soda is $1 and they have glass/mexican coke bottles for $2.75 if you are feeling luxurious. On tuesdays, they offer pork or chicken street tacos for $1 each. They got regular meat options as well as seafood and vegan/keto items. Only 2 women work inside and they are super friendly and lightning fast on whippin out food. I took a look at the menu while deciding which food truck I wanted to try and was excited that they had plant based options. I think it's great when small businesses offer plant based options and I will give any of it a try. My partner and I waited at the window for a few minutes with nothing said to us, but I know they were busy in there so I honestly didn't mind too much about that. When we were finally acknowledged I just asked a simple question about the menu. They had a highlighted green option under the meat section, so I asked if it was a vegan meat option. That's all I asked in a normal tone. I had no expectations about what the answer would be and would've been totally fine with just veggies. I was met with a surprisingly nasty response about how they have no tofu, no vegan meat, nothing like that, only a veggie option. The way she said it was with a tone and look of disgust. She unnecessarily highlighted the things they don't offer instead of answering my question about what they do offer. She could've simply told me that the vegan option is veggies. It seemed as though maybe she gets asked that a lot or maybe people have been rude about it in the past, I have no clue. All I know is that I didn't deserve the type of response I received and it made me feel really unwelcome as a customer. Everything she said to me during the rest of my order was with a very noticeable stank attitude that's not acceptable for customer service or any type of communication with another person in general. I was calm and polite the entire exchange even when she was unnecessarily being nasty towards me because I don't like to add to negative energy. It was just completely bad vibes. I'm a reasonable person. I was not expecting a certain answer or demanding anything, I simply wanted to know what the veggie option was. Someone having a bad day or bad attitude for whatever reason is one thing. I'm often able to look past that because we're all human and have our moments, but this woman's response was downright hostile and seemed directly related to me asking about the non-meat option. I was so taken aback and honestly didn't even want to order anything after that, but I was thrown off guard and since we were already there I decided to order anyway. The veggie torta and veggie burrito were pretty good. They ingredients seemed fresh. My partner loved her torta. My burrito was more plain than I would've liked since I wanted no sour cream or cheese (I'm guessing they didn't have a vegan version of those things which is fine). But it was a decent plant based option and I still ate it up. I can see why people like this business and if you don't ask anything about the menu, your experience may be a lot better than mine was. I'm sad about the service I received because the food was good, but I can't overlook the poor treatment I received from simply asking a question. To the owner or manager, I would urge you to take a look at the customer service you and/or your employees provide. For me and I'm sure many others, the type of service I receive is just as important as the quality of the food. Bad service can be a dealbreaker no matter how good the food is. It would be a shame if you allow some employees lack of attitude control turn away more potential returning customers. This experience put such a bad taste in my mouth that I wouldn't feel comfortable returning. read more
