Mann... hate to leave this review one of my favorite trucks but after a few disappointments today just put the cherry on top. Couple of visits and each time the burritos were so greasy they would fall apart, the meat on tacos would be burnt..today was a different story while I was enjoying my food I bit into something really solid and hard to soon discover it was a rock in my taco. I instantly felt disgusted.. sorry to say but I won't be returning.

Asada burrito with cheese and sour cream

10/26/20-Good late night spot on Wilson Way by Smart & Final. Not the greatest area but they usually have a good crowd and bright lighting so it doesn't feel sketchy while you're there. I've been here twice now and ordered the burrito both times. The burritos have been satisfied the late night craving and haven't had any grisly meat either. The concept threw me off a little because you get your burrito on a plate opened up but it's so you can add your extras such as salsa, onions, and cilantro. You then hand it back where they wrap it up for you and typically offer you grilled onions and jalapeños to put on the side. You can also add cheese and sour cream when ordering if you wish. I believe the price stayed the same at $7 but I could be wrong. If it's the evening (6pm open?) or late night and you're close enough to the area definitely give them a try. It'll be better than going down the street for fast food.

The meat was seasoned really well and I love that they have a salsa bar but my meat was overcooked and crunchy.

I've been going to this taco truck since 2016 . We know the owners and they're always super nice and friendly they even feed the homeless people ! Not a lot of taco trucks do that for them which helps a lot considering the area is always clean and lots of parking available . 1000/10 would recommend you won't regret it !

First time I see a taco truck that uses pagers to notify when order is ready!! Sweet!!

I tried this food truck several times before posting this review because I wanted to be fair. This spot is usually busy with long lines of people waiting outside for their orders. I was intrigued and tried to find that one taco that is so good people are lining up for a bite. Unfortunately it never happened, my food was over cooked, extra crispy and sooo greasy and most meats lacked seasoning. Tried the different aguas frescas, and they were watered down the champurrado/ atoles same thing. The pros are this truck opens and closes late, so if many of the other trucks are done for the night more than likely this one is open. It's centrally located, very close to the cross town freeway. It is on Wilson Way so regardless keep your money deep in your pocket and be sure to have a quick get away; yes I'm serious about this. This truck was very disappointing don't understand what the hype is about... to each it's own I guess

    Almost 9 and it's open

Honestly best place ever. Everything was perfect and to top it off, affordable prices and they let you stuff your toppings.

Night spot for good tacos and burritos. The Asada is always tender with that little bit of crunch taste on the outside.

Our table was right next to a metal utility rack they were using to store menus and cleaning products. That's fine, but my head was close to a spray bottle and a bottle of Lysol, which wasn't ideal. They were very busy, so we had high hopes for great food. Unfortunately, many of the items were bland. The beans and rice were especially underwhelming, with very little flavor--you can tell from the picture that the rice is basically plain white rice. My flautas were crunchy with fresh toppings, but the meat lacked flavor. My meal came with a bowl of fideo, but it wasn't delivered before my meal like it was for other tables. In fact, I had to ask for it after our food arrived, which makes me think I wouldn't have received it otherwise. After we finished eating, it took about 15 minutes to get our check. The servers were clearly very busy, but it would have been nice to leave sooner. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back. The noise level was overwhelming, and the food was just okay. If I did return, I wouldn't order anything that comes with beans and rice.

She was very nice and helpful. We shared a piña con coco cocktail, which I really enjoyed. It had a spicy rim and was sweet, but not too sweet. We ordered the guacamole, which was made tableside. I ordered the enchiladas al comal, which looked really good. Unfortunately, I didn't love the chipotle sauce on the enchiladas and wished I had ordered a more traditional red or green sauce. But it was still good, and I can see why it's popular. I did enjoy the steak and vegetables inside the enchiladas. I was leaning toward a 4-star rating since I didn't love my enchiladas and wouldn't order them again. But Isabella's service was so excellent that it alone pushed my review to a 5.

The prickly pear margarita tasted more like a pink Jolly Rancher than anything else, which just wasn't for me. My fajitas were alright, but they came without any sour cream or guac and the pico was mainly onion. When I asked the waiter, he told me they don't come with it, even though the menu said otherwise. Without those, the fajitas ended up being really dry. I ended up just paying and getting ready to leave, but when I grabbed a menu again and asked about it, they apologized and offered me chips and salsa to go, which I appreciated. The staff was very nice throughout, but the whole experience felt a bit disorganized. Overall, it just didn't feel like a good value for the money, and I left pretty underwhelmed.

We came here on a whim last weekend, and OMG, I'm so glad we did. The restaurant is small and not in the greatest location, but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back! The tortilla chips are a mix of corn and flour, which was a nice surprise. Literally everything we ordered was so good! I went with the build-your-own combo plate and chose a cheese enchilada, beef taco, and beef flautas. My entire plate was delicious, including the rice and beans. The homemade tortillas were so fresh and tasty. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their food. We split the three-piece quesabirria tacos, and they were excellent. I chose the gravy cheese enchilada for my combo plate, but I also tried my partner's green chili chicken enchilada--both were great. You can choose between red, green, or gravy sauce for the enchiladas, and I definitely want to try the red next time. Don't be turned off by the unassuming storefront and corner location. I chose La Mesa because the first time we went I was very impressed with the delicious drinks and the short rib enchiladas. The atmosphere is so special and intimate whether you're on a date or with family. Both times we went, our servers were friendly and checked on us appropriately. Our server yesterday was handling making drinks at the bar and serving other tables that were there for Valentine's Day, but she still provided us with really good customer service (not sure of her name but she was wearing a pink shirt). We ordered a few drinks that included a strawberry horchata with rum, and a special one for Valentine's Day called the cupids kiss. They really stood out to me with how cute and yummy they were. For an appetizer, we ordered birria French fries. I was surprised that it had the consommé because I assumed it would make the fries soggy.... But it did not! They were AMAZING. The birria was tender and delicious, the flavor had a lot of depth in the consommé. For our entrees, we both cannot get enough of the short rib enchiladas with the mole sauce. They are our favorite. I really am just grateful that there is a restaurant like this that cares about the food they share with their customers. In the past, we ate at restaurants for my birthday where they didn't take as much pride or care about what they served. My birthday dinner at La Mesa felt very special to me and my boyfriend. Thanks a bunch we look forward to our return visit!

As for the crispy tacos, there's a big difference between tacos that are freshly and properly fried and those that are overcooked in rancid oil. Unfortunately, what I received fell into the latter category, which is simply unacceptable. The service was also lackluster and apathetic. ----------- Jeff Berretta, no one is questioning the quality of the products served at your restaurants--La Mesa, Market Tavern, or Prime Table. The real issue is that your kitchen is ruining these high-quality ingredients. Perhaps you should try sampling them yourself to ensure better quality control. Additionally, before criticizing your customers online, I suggest you act with more professionalism. I regularly dine at your locations in Stockton and Dublin. While I do find your food overpriced and the service rather pretentious, that's not my main concern here. The real problem is your attitude. Next time I visit Market Tavern, I intend to address this with you in person and see if you live up to the online persona you project. Wishing you all the best in your role until then.
