We called Charlie right away and the painting crew and Charlie were back at our house within the hour and they made everything right. You'll always have some hiccups with construction but this company is family owned and they want to make sure your very pleased. Which is why they dont ask for any payment until the job is completely finished and you are happy with the results. Once we selected our color scheme and got approval from the HOA, the guys at PAL got to work. The house was given a proper power wash first, then the painting started a couple days later. Adam, Nevada, along with Bernie the job foreman, and the rest of the crew, did outstanding and professional work completing the job very timely. As the painting progressed, an issue on our roof came up due to a past microburst that swept through the neighborhood that we were aware of but had not yet addressed. Nevada assessed the issue and quoted a very reasonable fix and completed the fix along with his son, and now our roof looks and functions better and we are ready for anything the monsoon season throws at us. The first stage of drywall repair was great & the living areas were finished with good quality, promptness & fairly clean. The second stage was miserable. We prepped the house by moving & covering furniture & removing lights and switch plates. We planned to stay in an AirBnB for five days, 2 days longer than originally promised. On the third work day, I dropped in to find NO ONE there and half the project finished. After calling the lead guy (who was handling family tasks), I was told the job would be finished on Friday (5 days). We booked the AirBnB for two more days. No one ever called again. I walked in Friday afternoon to find everything finished aside from equipment sitting in our backyard. Only after I texted with Daniel did I learn they had finished on Thursday and was promised the equipment would be picked up Monday. Over the last few days we have found many disappointing issues. Some walls were only painted with one coat with the old color still showing through. All the trim was sprayed (not hand-painted like the first stage) so there was overspray dust everywhere, overspray drops on our furniture, tile & accessories. Some trim was not even painted and some only had a single half-brushed coat. While I have reached out to Daniel & he offered to fix the mistakes, my faith in their workmanship is gone. I understand there were family issues to deal with but there was little to no communication during (or after) the process. At $2.15 per square foot we paid a fair price for a job that started as a an excellent value and ended with more work left behind.

Before contacting them, I spent $46,000 redoing the roof, thinking that was the cause. When the leaks continued, it was determined that the block walls were absorbing water and leaking through to the interior. I was referred to Arizona Painting and met with their sales representative. I made it very clear that my main goal was to stop the leaks, and I requested extra care be taken on the front portion of the building. The sales rep assured me that, after applying their sealer and paint, the building would not leak. However, after the job was completed, the building leaked again. I called the office four times with no return calls. Only after contacting Rosie on the House, who had referred me, did I receive a prompt response. Within minutes, the office called and said their commercial manager would review the job. The commercial manager did call but never followed up as promised. I reached out to him twice with no response. Again, after contacting Rosie on the House, the office quickly called to schedule a visit. When the commercial manager finally came out, he told me it wasn't his problem and that since the contract didn't specifically state the walls would not leak, they were not responsible. His attitude was dismissive, showing no empathy or concern. I asked to speak with the sales rep, but I was told he no longer works there -- which was telling. I reached out to Rosie on the House once more, and they arranged a visit from the owner. Unfortunately, the owner took the same stance -- no responsibility, no care, and no solutions. It's now been over two weeks with no further communication. The owner's final statement to me was: "I'm sorry the sales guy told you the paint and sealer would stop the leaks, but the contract doesn't say that." If the owner doesn't care, it's no surprise that the employees don't either. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability, communication, and integrity from this company. Clearly after spending 46k on the roof and having leaks still, the sales guy for Arizona painting was well aware that I had major concerns about the water leaking. Its the reason I had the building sealed and painted. The owner has no care or integrity of what his sales guy say or do. Review the pics. The top cap for the wall never painted and I paid for the that. The exterior doors were never fully painted and I paid for that. The paint was so poor applied you can see the old paint. This was all pointed out by an inspector. The ROC is now handling this.
