I would recommend getting several additional quotes if you request a quote from High Sonoran. They knocked on my door offering a free quote since they painted my neighbor's house. After getting their quote, I requested 5 others via yelp, closely compared the quality of paint used, services performed, and reviews. I ended up choosing someone else that was $5,000 cheaper. The same guy that offered the quote from High Sonoran came back and I told him we decided to go with someone else. He asked how much the other company was charging, and he got really upset and stormed off and drove away. Do your homework and likely save thousands of dollars. read more

Alex and his crew did an amazing job. I was blown away by how detailed they were on the prep work. They raked all the rocks away from the foundation of my home and sealed it. I had some cement crumbling in the front of my house and they repaired it and sealed it. I also had some stucco damage in one spot and they took extra care to repair it so that it looks as good as the surrounding stucco. They primed it and did multiple coats with quality paint and did not thin it out. I have pigeon wire and they were able to get the areas behind it as well. Alex gave good guidance on the colors to choose and also how to approach pop outs. They were able to add my back yard walls for an extra fee and they came out great as well. I am very happy with the job that they did and I highly recommend them. read more

Alex and his crew do truly exceptional work. They painted a 40-yr-old house I am remodeling as well as my current home this week. The remodel had many issues - wall cracks, lifted window caulking and stem wall erosion. For both houses, Alex found all areas, big and small, needing to be patched, scraped, caulked & latex sealed before painting. Windows, doors, fixtures and pavement were exactingly masked to prevent unwanted spray anywhere. All areas were power washed. After spray painting trim, the crew went back over it with a brush to ensure full coverage. At my home, my son was dismayed about the doves nesting on the front porch column. Alex had his crew gently put the two chicks in a shoe box so we could put them out of the way where the parents could find them. Now that the work is done, the chicks are back on the porch and doing fine. My son is so happy they are safe. I do not know of any other company that would be that considerate of our needs. The guys from High Sonora Desert Painting were absolutely amazing! They did an absolutely awesome job prepping the house, cleaning, taping, covering, etc. Moved the whole damn yards worth of stuff away from the house, did all sorts of extra little touches for free (painted our side gate, some light cans, some speaker covers, installed new lights to replace old, remounted cameras, everything!) and the quality of the work speaks for itself. Our HOA added new colors and the homes here are snapping them up, and I know these guys have done the lions share of the neighborhood with more signs every week! Did fine with painting our exterior, but a horrible job on cabinets. They proactively sought out that part of the job - we had them give a quote on the exterior, and Tommy said they do cabinets as well, and wanted the opportunity to bid it for us. We hired them for that, and the paint was literally peeling off the cabinets in sheets within weeks. I addressed the concerns immediately with them, only to be told that painting cabinets is such a specialty job, that they really don't recommend painting cabinets at all because it just doesn't hold up. Uh, what?! In reality, they did a terrible job in prep (crap like painting over the hinges and safety hardware we'd installed, to "make them match") and had to come back to fix it. As a little thank you, they left one cabinet sanded and unpainted after the "fix." So terrible. read more
