However, an alarming issue with an on-site food vendor demands attention from leadership. When attempting to buy food with cash ($10 legal tender), the vendor refused paper currency, stating they were cashless. Worse, they made customer email addresses a mandatory condition for purchase, flatly stating: "No email, no service." As a marketing professional, I know an inbox is hard digital currency. Forcing hungry attendees into lead-generation funnels just to get a meal is an unacceptable, predatory practice that hurts consumer trust and tarnishes the credibility of small business enterprise. I have detailed the incident, the precedent it sets, and the need for legislative pushback against point-of-sale data coercion in my LinkedIn article: Search on LinkedIn: "No Cash, No Email, No Food: The Line Crossed at the Los Angeles Small Business Expo" Direct link: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/cash-email-food-line-crossed-los-angeles-small-business-hooker-yvsfc Event organizers must establish baseline vendor ethics: mandate the acceptance of legal tender and prohibit forced data harvesting at the register.

They milked us out of thousands of dollars with absolutely nothing to show from it except some blogs (literally less than 10). When trying to cancel the contract, the refused - even with months notice. We contracted for SEO, plus social media, plus blogging, etc. All of the blogs needed editing by us (why pay someone if we are still doing the work?) on a weekly basis, and it was evident that they just used AI to write the blog. There were spelling errors, grammatical errors, some activities weren't even for the correct area, the photos were of incorrect items and/or named incorrectly. The didn't listen when we gave them feedback. Corrections took forever to make. It would take weeks of going back and forth to fix and AI generated blog before posting. Extremely frustrating and not worth the time/effort/money. Although they said they worked on SEO meta tags, etc., I am currently going through my website on the backend, and everything is blank. We paid them for an entire year (yeah, our fault but they refused to let us out of the contract even though we were dissatisfied.) In addition to not doing the work, they completely messed up the voice and tone of our branding with the work they did complete. I have spent countless hours fixing font that was inconsistent, titles that didn't match the layout of the website, and errors that some rookie tech person didn't pay attention to. It is completely frustrating. If I had the money I would hire an attorney. They also claim to be from Florida, however the agents who reached out were from all over the world, and often the time change was difficult to reach people when we needed. Do not use this company. Do. not.

My mother had a health scare and finally decided to move in with me in another state. We interviewed 3 companies and we both immediately knew Archangel Estate Sales was going to be our best bet. During the interview she was the perfect blend of professional, personal, and understanding to our specific situation. She was honest about what we could expect to be of interest to buyers and things of specific value. During the process she regularly communicated at milestones of the project and did not hesitate to ask questions if she was not certain how we would want her to handle things. My mom had a lot of knick knacks and not a lot of valuable furniture or antiques. The sale still managed to earn enough to cover the emptying and clean out of her place without us needing to make a trip back there. Afterward, she provided the receipt book from the sale and a check for the balance that was left over. Tara and her crew are lovely hard working people with integrity. I hope I am never in need of these services again, but if I did they would be my first call.
