Came back here twice in one weekend! This has been on my list for a long time and I wish I went sooner! Parking is on the smaller side and a little odd that you block in tenants. However, the sushi is one of the best sushi places I have been to. The pork gyoza was crispy and filled well. I ended up getting the yum yum roll, salmon paradise and the super volcano roll. Every single bite was perfect and tasted fresh. The service was super fast, both waitresses were friendly and helpful. Tonight I spent $80 on the 3 hand roll combo, 2 orders of gyoza, pad Thai chicken and a small beef fried rice using an apparently expensive delivery service. Understand times are tough but the portions were so tiny, The salad that came with the rolls was just weird lettuce and 2 carrot juliannes. The gyoza were just a tiny bite sized mini version than those I get elsewhere for less money. I paid for extra sauce and put in the notes that I need extra ginger and didn't receive any ginger at all! Very disappointed in how tiny the roll pieces were too. read more

The service was so friendly! They were so accommodating. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time we tried it for the first time and it was delicious! We actually came back the next day it was that great! It's such a nice cute date spot! Make sure that you try the angry dragon roll for sure! I usually only eat California rolls but my boyfriend ordered this and of course I wanted to try it and I'll always order it every time now! The drink was amazing the ice cream was soo good. The calamari was delicious, the sushi pizza was my favorite!!!, and the pepper tuna rolls were delicious. If you want a really fun presentation with a fire element, order the angry dragon 2 roll! Great service but Thai food tasted like a child put it together. We ordered Pad Thai. Both tasted like ketchup. Drunken noodle was just a soy sauce bomb. I haven't been here in years but was craving some ramen and fried rice and I was not disappointed! The ramen broth was flavorful and the noodles and toppings were just as delicious. I added some chili oil at home and it was just *chefs kiss*. The fried rice was also great but I would have loved some onions. On my order I checked the no vegetables option but left the onions since that was also an option you can omit. But the onions were omitted anyway. Next time, I know to put an order note but I recommend this be fixed for online ordering! Also my order was supposed to be ready in 20-25 minutes but was not ready until almost 50 minutes. The restaurant has been renovated recently and has a vibe that makes it feel more upscale and adds to the experience of eating there. Parking is in the back on a hill, so you'll have to walk down the side and to the front. Shared pork buns, side of broccoli, one of the hot rolls, Pho, and steak wrapped green onions. The steak was melt in your mouth and the pho/broccoli didn't disappoint. The pork buns were good but lacked flavor for what they're worth. Some of the menu items they didn't have ingredients to make which was a disappointment. Overall, the food is delicious and some of the best Japanese you can get in the area. However, for the price of everything you'll need to spend a lot to feel like you've actually had a meal. For two, we spent over $100. read more

Whether you order a sushi boat, some rolls, a teriyaki dinner, ramen, or a Thai dish, I can pretty much guarantee you'll enjoy your meal. I can't come here without ordering their gyoza because it's seriously the best I've ever had. They always crisp it on the edges so perfectly! This is by far my favorite restaurant in the greater Waterbury area. I've had nearly every roll on the menu.... you really can't go wrong. The Owner Jay is actively engaged in the restaurant and is very welcoming to new patrons or regulars alike when they enter. When we first moved to the area this was our go-to spot. Not quite sure if it was after the pandemic or after they re did the restaurant that things changed, but it's a little disappointing. We always give them a chance, normally for take out because I don't feel like bringing our toddler out, and I think I always say the same thing; my sushi rolls fall apart, and I wish they would bring back the old Seafood Dynamite roll. The new version is tasty, don't get me wrong, but it's kinda heavy on the sauce and fried. The original seafood dynamite was wrapped in rice paper and had this beautiful crunch and lightness to it; and the sauce?! It was the citrus ginger sauce to dip the roll in and it was to die for. We love sushi, and my husband loves their Seafood Ramen, but we just don't frequent this establishment as much as we used to. read more

O.M.G !!!! I finally gave this spot another try after about 8 years. I had to see what all the hype was about on IG. Believe me there has been an drastic improvements. I'm not sure it this spot has new chefs or under new ownership but wow I was impressed!! There's a few cons though but they are worth the hassle of getting to eat here lol. 1.) the parking is extremely limited. This restaurant is like a little hole in the wall type of spot and has a few parking spaces in the back. Therefore, car pool if you can as it's off of a busy Main Street which you cannot park on. 2.) the bar only has 5 spots and they get taken pretty quickly 3.) depending on the night you might want to get there earlier as there is limited dinning space. Well we got in and I was excited! Our waitress was so nice and patient watching us getting familiar with the menu. They have pictures on the menu!! Far and few sushi spots have pictures so come on that's a plus lol!! Martinis were great! I loved our appetizer it was bacon with creamy avocado topped with spicy tuna! No rice.. so this might be a great option for those on Keto. It was delicious!! Okay so I forgot what my friend got my I loved my yum yum roll! It was so fresh and the flavor was mouth watering. A lot of sushi restaurants at least around here have pretty similar rolls but at Tomo 68 you can get some pretty unique and creative rolls! One of ours even had bacon on it! I used to go to Tomo often, about 8 years back. This past year i was introduced to new york's finest sushi via omakse. Every fish I tried was room temp, fresh, melt in your mouth delicious. Trying Tomo today via take out (the devil roll) left me extremely disappointed. I could taste fish wish every bite. I'd say the sushi wasn't fresh. I asked for some chopsticks and utensils and they offered me to go get them myself now onto the food, when I eat it, it was very cold and felt like it was sitting there for a very long time. Basically a hidden gem that you would likely drive by and not even see. And for me, that's okay because it means more open tables. Probably not so okay for the owners but judging from the lunch and dinner crowds, I think they're doing okay. I've been here probably 30 or 40 times for both sit down and take out lunch and dinner and have never once had any issue in any aspect. Food is always amazing, wait times more than reasonable, and pricing so good that a few times I though they messed up the bill. They also offer a few Thai options but typically I'm not "that" guy that will order like Thai at a Chinese place, or Sushi at a Chinese place, etc. Only because every single time I've tried...I was always disappointed 100% of the time. So being a guy with a good go-to Thai place's that I love, and with a deep love of the style, it was big move to even attempt it here. It was a matter of convenience and craving and it turned out okay! Not saying the Thai is as good as at one of the other Thai places, but I'm thinking they may have abducted a Thai guy from somewhere.
