I went to Capello's a year ago for a highlight and trim after I bought a Groupon deal…read more Imagine you're in high school sitting with a bunch of strangers at a lunch table. That's how it felt to be at Capello's. The stylists were wildly unprofessional.. gossiping and bantering back and forth with inside jokes and juvenile sex-related conversation that made me feel really uncomfortable. It was like I wasn't even there.. just a wig head at a beauty school in one of their classes. They were dressed sloppy, were really immature, and really loud and annoying. My stylist kept taking breaks highlighting my hair to text someone on his iPhone. The salon was filthy. Hair all over the floor, laundry baskets inexplicably strewn about with dirty or clean towels in them, not sure which. I was given no consultation to speak of. This was another red flag... he just began highlighting my hair. I was offered no coffee or water as I waited, and I waited for the longest time I've ever had to wait for my highlights to develop. There was no music playing or anything. I wasn't asked if I wanted a magazine, and I didn't see any to pick up. End result: my hair was fried with really bad zebra stripes. I've never received worse highlights. When I got home and looked at the back of my head in a mirror and saw the GLOBS and circles (!?!?) of highlights inches away from my scalp, I basically cried. He also cut about 4 inches off of my hair when I asked him for just a trim. I had spent a long time growing out my hair and the stylist chopping it all off was a real bummer. To explain just how bad my experience was.... I've been getting my hair cut and highlighted at various salons for over 5 years. I've had so-so and great experiences in that time, but nothing like this. To convey how bad this experience was.... I HAVE NOT BEEN TO A SALON FOR COLOR SINCE. I was basically traumatized by this experience. I went back to my natural shade, I freshen my color at home, and I just go to supercuts to trim my ends. I am THAT afraid of salons now. So yeah. Avoid this place. It needs to be closed down.. which is probably happening soon since I was the only customer there on a Thursday afternoon.

Lady Nails is consistently and time efficient. They always have tons of color options available,…read morefriendly service and can squeeze in an appointment if you go in at "odd-hours" (in the morning or early afternoon on a weekday). I feel that their prices are fair for the area and all of their equipment is very clean -- Which is important! My regular pedicure was $25 and I have had it for about 3 weeks now with no chips! Also, I was running out of time so I last minute switched to getting a polish change instead of an entire manicure and the staff was 100% accommodating to this request. My polish on my fingers only lasted about a week, but I am a school teacher, so that is to be expected. In total, I paid around $33 and spent an hour in there tops! Whenever I am in the Orange or Milford area, Lady Nails is the first place I try to go to to get my nails done :).

I like Acrylic my nails stay on longer with Acrylic. So they quoted me $55.00 to put on the gel tips and $30 for the gel polish. They said it HAS to be gel polish! She said they only use gel polish! I can buy 3 or 4 bottles of gel polish for that price! So all together its $85.00. You know what...I can put tips on at home. I'm not paying that kind of money for nails. NO WAY!

First , the women doing my nails burned the side of my foot with a stone , I jerked back but didn't realize how bad the burn was till I was drying my toes. Prior to leaving , we got stopped at the door for not paying when I clearly did and then the women proceeded to ask me where her tip was which I find highly unprofessional. I had left my purse with my cash in the car and just grabbed my small wallet so I planned on going out to grab her tip ( which as a waitress that lived off tips , I tip rather generously ) but after being accused of not paying and being held at the door and then rudely asked where the tip was I decided I wouldn't be leaving one. Needless to say after this experience I will not be returning.

However, after 3 long hours, my hair turned out to be a completely different color -- it was almost black. I originally had a blonde balayage that was very light, so it definitely could not have been that hard to achieve a light brown. I am unfortunately very disappointed and will not be coming here again. I also got charged way more than what I traditionally pay at hair salons.

Went in for microblading in May of 2025, worst decision of my life. When Doreen did my eyebrows…read morethey were uneven, not on brow-line and misshaped (one higher and arched the other extremely low and straight)and a huge gouge which still isn't healed. I asked her about this and she said don't worry they look fine. Called a few times expressing my concerns about the appearance and that I was having a reaction to the pigment. Doreen was very off putting and said she didn't care about their current appearance that I just needed to wait for follow up appointment. The redness and pain kept getting worse so I went to Dermatologist and was told it appeared to be an allergic reaction to the pigment and not to do any follow up. I told Doreen about this and once again she dismissed my concerns and insisted I do the follow up. Now, 5 months later I still have scarring and pigment "blotches" nowhere near where my brows should be. I will not follow up based upon my Dr. advice and recommend NO ONE let her butcher their face. In May, 2026, after a massage, the masseuse and receptionist invited me to take part in their 10 month membership program which was to include a "gift" or "add-on service" each month. The first time I used the spa package, I was handed a little bag as my "gift" of the month which contained a little jar of cream had been opened and dipped into, the inside top of the lid was smeared as if someone wiped it off. This unsealed and used product made me lose trust in the company; a massage is a very personal service. I canceled any further service and offered to pay the $11.00 difference between what the massage cost and what I would have paid otherwise. I was told it was their policy to charge the $100.00 cancellation fee, which they hadn't told me that the month before. I would not recommend this place.
