advertised the basic tan for $65 which is higher than other salons but figured it's only a few bucks more and this salon location more convenient for me. Turned out to be $73... after "taxes and fees" not including tip. STICKER SHOCK! Now for the results.... Tech was sweet as can be, but didn't spray certain spots properly so now we have white rings under our boobs and butts LOL! but not really funny had to run out to Sephora to get a self tanner to fix! This will be a long and detailed review...so buckle up. First, I, like many others, have had some horrific, oompa loompa type of experiences with airbrush tanning in the past, so I was a little skeptical, to say the least. Nonetheless, I booked an appointment with Samantha the day before my event and hoped for the best. (spoiler alert: it was better than I expected) A little bit about me... I am the type that forgets to exfoliate, drink water, and moisturize on a regular basis. Also, I shower 2x times a day, so already I am a horrible candidate for a spray tan, but I got it together for the appointment. Location: the location is fantastic, right on Plandome Rd, with ample street parking. The store is sleek, clean, and inviting and that theme continues into the rooms. Very aesthetically pleasing and made my heart sing with joy. The rooms are the perfect temperature too, I never felt cold, or too hot that the tan would start melting, very nice touch. Samantha: Samantha was unbelievably pleasant. She asked if I had an event, when would it be & how dark I wanted to be. I wasn't sure so we started with one coat and then ultimately decided on two. Not only is Samantha sweet, but engaged in conversation like it's a regular day, which I appreciated since we are in a vulnerable position, it helps take your mind off it. Also, one thing that blew me away was the text the next day asking how my tan was. Hello elite customer service!!! The tan: Samantha sprayed and dried me with ease and it instantly looked amazing. I was a bit worried because I had to attend the rehearsal dinner that night and I couldn't shower and felt the tan would look dirty (you know what I mean). Well to my astonishment, it didn't. It looked great. I even applied a little bit of makeup over the tan (I know, I'm the worst, but how many of us don't listen). I rinsed myself that night with no soap and wow! The tan was perfection! It was even, bronze, and there was no funny scent that comes with a tan. The next day I did shower with soap, I moisturized, added some body glow and went off to the wedding (I got dressed too). I received compliments all night on how nice my tan was, and it truly was, no need for Willa Wonka by my side. Lastly, I bought the coffee scrub to help when the tan starts to fade, which by the way is gradual, and I used it for the first time last night. Upon opening it, I thought, "ok, it's just coffee grinds, big deal", but oh was I wrong. It was a beautiful mix of coffee and oils that gently scrubbed my skin and left it feeling smooth and hydrated. Christina, you have created an experience for your customers, hired the right staff, and provide a fantastic service! I will definitely be back for another spray tan. read more

Honestly, can I give Christina six stars? She's so sweet and super professional and it's the legit most natural spray tan ever. Not only is the solution organic but it gives you that golden "fresh out of the tropics" glow. The solution also gradually wears off as naturally as a regular tan when you follow Christina's pre and post spray instructions - which is an added bonus to not look "flakey" as the tan fades. I was working in the city and had to come after work. The building is in walking distance from the train so that's always a plus. When I arrived Chris was great. I asked for subtle and natural and I paid $131 (because they actually charge gratuity) for having no color whatsoever.
