As someone who works heavily in online business, customer engagement, and public-facing platforms, I understand how important professionalism and reputation are. That's exactly why this experience at Tommy's Oasis was so disappointing. Manager Amy publicly accused me of repeatedly leaving unpaid tabs from months ago, yet could not provide a single receipt, date, amount, or piece of documentation when I calmly requested proof. I even offered to immediately pay anything legitimate if records existed. Making serious accusations against customers without documentation, then refusing to provide proof while publicly banning and embarrassing them, is incredibly unprofessional and poorly handled management behavior. Businesses absolutely have the right to refuse service. What they should not do is make unsupported accusations against customers without evidence to back them up. Very disappointing experience overall. read more

If you'd like to leave an establishment so blind-drunk that you can't realize someone has physically taken your keys from your hands, and then lectures someone trying to take you home in the most demeaning fashion ever, so that you just wind up getting your keys back and driving yourself home, or at least attempting to...then PLEASE go to Tommy's Oasis. Good news, though! They're a "private club," which makes it harder for TABC to touch them. It DOES, however, make private lawsuits much, much, much easier to file. So go ahead! Get creative. Order shots. Drinks. Beers. Shots. More shots. More drinks. More shots. They just get stronger as the night goes one! They won't cut you off no matter what! Tommy's is the place to go if you're single and can't afford to actually drink anything other than commercial low alcohol beer or cheap liquor. I've been here probably over one hundred times with friends and by myself in the past decade before I moved from Mansfield to Dallas, and that's the entire vibe that I get from this bar and the customers. It's pretty much the same cliquey local crowd every night mixed up with wannabe gangsters. You'll have to yell for the bartenders to get a drink when the bar is crowded if you don't have a seat at the bar, otherwise you'll get passed up for whoever can push their way around through the crowd first. I'd say it's a hard pass unless you only have $10 to spend on a night out and I've given it way too many chances. Definitely won't be back. read more

I've been here 5 times now and have always had a good fun time. The first time I came here my friends and I met this british guy who was super cool. We came tonight and we're having a great time. The British guy showed up and was cool. Until he just pulled his pants $& underwear down to show us his ... and we told the bouncer as well as the manager and their response was "that's normal" "we've seen it before" "it's not that big". Like are you kidding. That's totally disrespectful and not okay at all! I've worked at a a bar and I don't give a single f*ck if someone is a regular. That is not normal and loses more customers. I have been going to this bar for over 3 years. Bartenders are always friendly. Drinks are great and reasonably priced. Lots of local, friendly, real down to earth people. Regulars at this bar are kind and watch out for you. The reason for the 1 Star is the manager Aimee. I turned away for a moment to talk to a friend, and she stole my iPhone. I saw her take it. When I confronted her and asked her, she denied it. I took matters into my own hands and took her purse from her and opened it up......and there was my phone! You can not trust management at this bar. Aimee will steal from you. The owner needs to get rid of her. Nobody wants to drink somewhere that they have to worry that management is stealing from them. read more

Well first off this is a true neighborhood dive bar so if you are expecting something more skip this place. Second there is NO music. If you want to hear music you must PAY for it. I specifically asked. We stayed and finished our drinks and won't be back. read more

True dive bar and can be alittle dangerous at times. Rude customers "regulars" that drive good people away. Management does not seem to be in control and handle situations. Not worth the risk or the cheap drinks! Staff has a lot of "funny" business going on behind the scenes (lots of bathroom breaks). This is a great establishment! The bartenders are friendly, the people who go are very chill and the music isn't so loud or too soft. However, there has been a biking gang that has attempted to "take over" the bar for their own and upon arriving on 8/22/19 i was approached in a very confrontational manner by one of them with many tattoos on their head who told me that "my parking space wasn't a parking space".. it was.. he proceeded to escalated the confrontation after i tried to walk away by saying "good luck if you leave it there.. you'll see what happens". And after a quick and curt ruffle i proceed to leave. It's nasty that such a great place has become overrun by such hateful people but I'll definitely feel a lot more safe and happy taking my business elsewhere. read more

This is a good bar if they have more security and the KJ would take you off the list after you sang instead of leaving you number one as more people come in you'll never get the sing unless you one of the favorites then You may sing a couple times out of turn and the kj plays a lot of songs instead of keeping the singing going while no one dances and keep a count of how many drinks you had they don't mind adding a couple to your bill I would not recommend it but it is the only karaoke club close and the kj telling people to get ready while you are in the middle of your song very rude it's like it's there club house and your just there read more

Unless you have $20 dollars to grease the KJ you'll NEVER GET TO SING. I came to see what this place was all about and can confirm that it is true what some of the reviewers say about that the KJ plays way too many dance songs even if there are a lot of singers. They also take a long time if ever to put in a new singer if ever. The place was nice, the bartenders are very nice, but will not be back because of the KJ not paying attention to making sure new singers sing and the list of singers. Sad because this place could be he BOMB when it comes to Karaoke. read more

The venue is cozy and dark, and the drinks are cheap. Bartenders are very friendly. The woman working when we went was a complete sweetheart. Be warned, they only take cash. However, there is an ATM inside. read more

Best dive bar ever! Fun friendly bartenders, you never have an empty glass! The karaoke Dj's are fun and get everyone out on the dance floor. Tommys Oasis actually has really talented singers too, we were impressed! Cheap drink prices too. We will be back a lot! read more
