I've stopped here a couple times late at night for a quick wash, although I'd recommend using these types of washes sparingly to avoid any scratches or paint damage that can happen over time from the brushes rubbing the vehicle. I've heard people complain elsewhere about damage to their side view mirrors here, but if you always fold them like I do prior to entering the wash, you should be okay. The one other oddity about this location worth mentioning is that the interior lights do not activate once your inside the wash, even at night. This creates a bit of a creepy factor once you roll into the tube and are sitting in the dark waiting for the machine to do its magic... However, this doesn't effect the actual effectiveness of the carwash - just don't forget to lock your doors once you're in park! And lastly, you'll receive a small bonus if you select the "platinum" wash. Both times I've been here and selected this option, the machine only charged me $10.00 though the stated amount is $12.00. In came Phil and his team to save the day- and my sanity. Stopped by the shop and Phil walked up to me and immediately saw what was I was referring to. (See before pic) He and his team totally turned it around and brought it back to when it was at its prime. Inside and out this thing is MINT. The paint is a mirror- the reflections are crazy- and I look forward to having a fresh coating for easy maintenance going forward. Inside the leather is smooth and supple and conditioned, glass is gleaming, and there isn't a speck of dog hair or anything inside. Total reset and spotless. I could not be happier with how it came out!! And Phil kept me updated DAILY with the status of my truck; with videos and progress reports. This was such a cool thing to do. And much appreciated. If you're OCD about your vehicles or just need a GREAT detail Philthy's is the place. Phil is an awesome dude and he and Kody of New Image Detail (under the same roof now!) should be your ONLY considerations for anything detail related. They're the best of the best!! Second, the website stated: "Steam cleaning of all interior surface areas. All door panels, seats and instruments cleaned. Interior vacuumed & glass cleaned. Hand wash exterior, engine bay, undercarriage, and wheel faces cleaned. Exterior protection applied to all painted surfaces." I had dirt and little rocks everywhere from tracking it in my car (it has been raining a lot in Texas), as well as white pet hair in the back seat, and Phil and his team figuratively gave me a BRAND NEW car. When my car was being inspected at the VPC he said, "I'd never have guessed you owned a dog because this interior detailing is spotless." I was already impressed with Phil's work when he showed me the finished product, and I was even more shocked at Phil's work when I was watching the inspector do his review of all the cracks and crevices. Truly amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship! Overall, I can't thank Phil and his team enough for making my car spotless and for helping me pass inspections at the VPC. Luckily for me, however, I was NOT wrong when I decided to give My Detail Guys a try. The first step was making an appointment, which was so very easy. I simply went to their website and clicked the link for making appointments. The website was easy to use, not overly busy or complicated, and walked me through the appointment-making process without a single problem. I even got confirmation e-mails regarding my appointment almost immediately after making it. I LOVE an organized business! Unfortunately, I did not get the names of the two gentlemen who showed up to detail our HHR, but they were promptly on time and were very polite and pleasant. Our driveway is very short, so they asked if I could move the car to the street in front rather than having their truck block our alleyway. I thought that was very considerate of them. You're probably asking, "But how was their work?" Quite frankly, my car has not looked that good since it was brand new. Believe me when I tell you that it was a MESS before these fine folks got to work. My husband drives the car to work every day, a round trip of approximately 80 miles a day. He has managed to spill sodas all over the seats and cup holders, another time a friend accidently dropped some chocolate chips while eating trail mix and they melted into the passenger seat. There were french fries lost in the depths, and a TON of dirt and mud from rainy days performing out at Scarborough Faire. It was NOT pretty, and the various French Fries of Doom had begun permeating the car with a horrid smell. Since the Husbeast had to go out of town for a business trip, I decided to surprise him with a pretty, clean car when he got back. The two fine gentlement cleaned EVERYTHING. They scrubbed the upholstery and managed to get almost all of the stains out of it. They cleaned the cup holders, the carpet, the gear shifter, the track the gear shifter works on, the vents, the dash...you name it, and it was gone over with cleaning solution and q-tips! The outside was washed and polished, and looks beautiful as it sparkles in the sun now. I suspect that I will probably get quite grumpy the first time something is spilled in there or mud splashes on the outside. I cannot recommend these folks more highly. I was more than happy to pay the trip charge for being outside their regular service zone ($25) for the quality of service that I received. Even with all of the work that they did and the trip charge and an extra $10 for the Odor Bomb (just in case), it still came in under $200 which is less than I would have paid if I'd taken it to a brick and mortar car detailing shop. I am already planning on putting money aside to have them come back and detail our other vehicle. If you're doubtful, don't be. Go ahead and have them come detail your vehicle. They are EXCELLENT!

Unfortunately, a recent experience has completely changed my opinion. On May 2, 2026, I visited for a car wash and was told by an attendant that if I purchased a $30 wash that day, I would receive unlimited washes for the next month at no additional cost. I specifically asked if there was a catch because I assumed it involved signing up for a monthly membership. The attendant assured me there was no catch, no commitment, and never stated that I was being enrolled in a recurring membership or that future charges would be automatically billed to my account. Because of that explanation, I agreed. I was never informed that I was being enrolled in a recurring membership, nor did I knowingly sign any paperwork authorizing future charges. A month later, I noticed a $50 charge from Tidal Wave Auto Spa on my account. When I contacted customer service, I was told they had a receipt with my signature showing that I had enrolled in a membership plan. I requested a copy of the receipt, and when it was emailed to me, I did not see my signature or initials on the document. I called back to explain my concerns, but I was unable to get any meaningful assistance or a refund. What disappoints me most is that I likely would have considered signing up for a membership had it been presented honestly and clearly. Instead, I was charged for a plan that I did not believe I had agreed to. I truly enjoyed this car wash and had been a loyal customer, which makes this experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I will not be returning.

Tidal is a good drive-thru carwash with open vacuums. Today they didnt have many clean wipe rags…read morebecause th3ir washing machine was broken. I was surprised they didnt just run them through the car wash. Hehe But usually they have carts with clean wipes and window cleaner. Today i didnt see any window cleaner. The car wash prices run from $20 to $30. They will try to sell you a package deal for a monthly fee. They offer good deals, but usually I wash my vehicles at home, and have an occasional Tidal wash. The Tidal spray waxes are definitely way easier than the hand waxes at home. Good quality as Tidal guarantees their washes...even if it rains.
