Good car wash... I don't know how much there is to say about a car wash. It did a good job.

Back when it was Speedy, it was great. The change to Zips has been horrible. My wife and I just tried to get a new license plate added replacing the old. An hour on hold got me zero. Driving into the office, got me zero. My wife drove in and got zero. The Zips car wash app is simply poor, while the price per month escalated to 45 bucks. They were handy, but they are trash now. I know. Car washes aren't exactly high on our importance list. But hear me out. Abilene ONLY has Mister car wash. I paid my $18 dollars and we ran it through 3 times before it was finally clean. I DO NOT like Mister. Last week I got there and it's now $20 for the good exterior wash. Sorry, not my $20. When I got to Speedy Bee, top price is $16. I happily paid and my car was clean after one trip through. The free vacuums have 2 different nozzles for you to use. I was extremely pleased with the wash job. This car wash took my dirty car and, in a couple of minutes, made it nice and clean, for a good price.

I decided to try this as they just redid the car wash and cleaning area and re-branded as Zips. As soon as I turned onto 407 and had sun hit my back window I could see the back window was filthy. When I arrived home, I could see the entire back was mostly dirty as well. The new Marvel by Goody Goody cleans so much better in my opinion and is cheaper ti boot. read more

I go here all the time and always give it a chance because it is the only car wash closest to bridalwood where I stay and I'm lazy as crap to drive to Park place to wash my car and it's veyond disappointing everytime. Upon arriving an paying the reader can never read the card even though I have 3 cards that I use that are perfectly fine.. the machine on the the left never works and the gate arm on the right is broken and smacked the shit out of my car once I paid. I'd say this is the best $3 wash I've ever had. I pulled up, the interface was fairly standard for today's modern car wash. Selected the $3 wash, the gate opened and I pulled ahead. They taped my rear wiper down squirted a little jazz on the front bumper and windshield and a few moments later I was through the wash and ready for the free vacuums that didn't require any tokens. Good job Speed Bee. Its $3 so don't expect anyone to actually touch your car but yourself. The air dry was good enough but you might want a towel if you really car about a few water spots. read more

Great combo of the standard get out of your car and wait inside pricier car washes or the stay in your car drive through cheaper alternatives. There are 4 wash options ranging from a basic wash of $3 to a deluxe for $10. Simply drive up to the kiosk, enter your choice of washes, and pay with cash or credit. Before entering the wash a staff member tapes down your rear wiper if necessary, then throw it in neutral and the wash does the rest. The wash itself is the big strips of cloth vs. high pressure sprays. The drying blowers are pretty strong and loud but you may want to bring a cloth to wipe off remaining spots. Once done, you have the option to pull around to the side to use comp/free vacuums. On a side note, I didn't see a storefront or restrooms. I got the $10 option that included a tire wash and shine plus rain repellent and clear coat shine. While not perfect (a few spots needed extra attn) still a great value and you can be in and out in less than 10 mins. read more

It was a rather quick and thorough wash and I enjoyed the experience. In fact, when I went to vacuum my car, the vacuum was clogged. So a nice young man named Miguel fixed it immediately and he even finished vacuuming my car. He was great! read more

Paid way too much for a light rinse. Dirt left on my hood and roof came off easily from running my garden hose over it when I got home.

Favorite car wash in the area. Great prices and free vacs for self cleaning. If you have a rear wiper make sure you remove masking tape they place on it before the wash, it's easy to miss. read more

First time here, my car was really dirty w bird poop and the wash took some of it off but not all, however I asked the gentleman if I can go thru one more time and although my car still has bird poop or some stuff that refuses to come off, I appreciated that he let me go again. Do NOT go to the Speedy Bee to get a car wash. You WILL be greatly disappointed. We went on a Saturday only because I saw good reviews and we were in the area. The car wash tenant didn't even look in the bed of truck and barely guided us on to the car wash correctly. The wash left our truck scratched with a white film and did not remove any of the bug guts from the front grill and windshield. The vacuums were under powered and did a horrible job getting the dog hair out of the back seat. We had to go home to finish washing the car and waxing the scratches out! We will NOT be back and highly recommend that you do not even try this place as well! read more

What a great experience! Check-in is extremely easy and quick. Once I pulled around to enter the car wash, a friendly face waved at me like, "thanks for coming by!" I got the deluxe wash and was extremely pleased with the condition of my car. Free vacuuming comes with every wash, so my car looks brand new inside and out. Both times I've been to this car wash my car has come out of it with scratches all over my hood and doors. The second time I attempted to go I figured it could have been something else but sadly more scratches appeared all over my car. Some of the vacuums don't even work well at all. They don't have very strong suction so the vacuums don't do much. This same thing happen to a friends car and it was much worse than mine but you've all been warned. Ok - now before I post a review about a place of business, I always try the facility several times to make sure it's not a "one time problem" ordeal. With that said, I have been to this car wash NUMEROUS times within the past several years. It was a GREAT car wash - not anymore. This year(2015), I have visited it 7 times - I also goto other car washes whenever necessary. This year has been the worst - not enough rinse, too much soap, the car wash ride is much faster than years before, etc etc etc....I have wiped up so much soap from the car this year that I give up. AND - the prices keep on going UP and UP - $12? 15? Holy cow!!! I can goto the Exxon by Garden Ridge and get a GREAT car wash for $10. The only difference is that there are no vacuums - not a biggie for me. Oh well - let the "richy riches" go there and spend their money for a blah wash!!! Not me..... read more
