Also, they provide a mat cleaner/beater that worked well in getting our floor mats nice and clean as well. I saw the guy who pre-washed the hood and wheels pulling trash bags out and showed him my hood and asked if I could run it through again. He denied my request after I licked my finger and showed how it didn't get cleaned. He suggested I mix white vinegar and water and clean it off myself. I ended up going to the self service place across from Ingles and spent $3 more to clean the spots off; and I didn't need vinegar to do it. My issue was that I didn't ask the guy for money back, just showed him the problem and asked for another run-through to solve the issue. Needless to say, they have gotten the last money from me.

I specifically asked for confirmation that the bugs would be removed as part of the wash. Instead of addressing that request, the attendant focused on trying to sell me a membership, which I declined. After going through the car wash, many bugs remained clearly visible on both the windshield and hood. I immediately brought this to the attendant's attention and requested that the vehicle either be run through again or that additional effort be made to remove the bugs, since this was the primary reason for my visit. The attendant refused to take corrective action and stated that I should have purchased a membership. I was also refused a refund, despite the service not being performed as requested. I paid for a service that was not properly completed and was denied any reasonable opportunity to have the issue corrected. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

At our service in the fall, we were told that the brakes on our car needed to be fixed, pads and Roters. It was a very expensive job. We scheduled over Christmas. We felt that we needed to get serviced in Bristol so our Warranty would not be in question. Because of the bad weather and being in the hospital, during January we did not drive the 4 Runner very much that month. But the first time I got in the car since the brakes had been worked on, I noticed a terrible noise. I called the next day and was told by the service department I would need to bring it in. In my opinion I was very worried about getting to them. But they would not offer help. My husband made it there with the vehicle. Our appointment was at 10:30 in the morning. However, the vehicle was not touched for three + hours. My husband had notified me that no one would tell him anything about our service. So I called and asked to speak to a manager. I was not given a manager, but the gentleman I spoke with told me that a "rod" was broken. I can't believe he called a lug a rod. He assured me that it would not take very long to fix and he would take care of it without charge. I called my husband and explained what was going on. This had taken way too long considering we had an appointment That morning! I should also mention that this is the fourth time that we have had an appointment with one of our vehicles that we purchased directly from them Then we could not get waited on for hours. That is no way to keep your customers coming back. As my husband was checking out to leave, he told the service person that he was not happy about how long putting in a lug had taken. Considering that THEY left it out or did not tighten it when they put the tire back on during the last work they did. The girl who was waiting on him said, Oh well, life goes on. With or without. This entire situation was uncalled for. Toyota of Bristol service department you are Not Respectable, Reliable or Considerate! In fact you are just not honest!
