It was almost 10pm when she saw my child waiting for over an hour (but this is completely understandable) yet she didn't understand why he was cranky and couldn't hold still to a very sensitive part of his body. This was not cold or flu injury. This was a laceration injury. she was in a bad mood because she said she had a cold. There was no comfort and compassion for my child's injury. I eventually I had to pin my kid down just so she didn't walk out of the room for the second time to check on the injury. She made a comment towards his attitude yes his bedtime is 8 and he's tired and hurt. My child indeed needed medical attention with a specialist and a follow up to make sure it was healing. I am surprised she's a paediatrician because she doesn't seem to like kids or doesn't have any tips or tricks to make a child comfortable. No maternal instincts kicked in. Reception was kind and nice. And overall it is clean. I am sure great doctors work here, as well. I am only hoping it was a bad day. I had to explain to my son on the car ride that it wasn't their fault he was so scared.

Regarding the pediatric clinic, Absolutely disgusted at the…read morelevel of disrespect and blatant lack of regard for new parents & newborns in general, from the reception desk here. The doctors are great but the receptionists lack basic human decency, compassion, and accountability. So extremely rude for absolutely no reason, patient care and bedside manner completely went out the window, they wouldn't own up to their own scheduling mistake, no apology, nothing. This is appalling. To think that this is the future of medicine... I wouldn't recommend coming back here so long as these receptionists are around. Do better.

Once she was done with her questions, she stood up and headed to the door immediately, so ready to leave. Had the rest of the conversation and inquiries with her standing between her desk and the door. She answered most but not all of my questions. But I didn't want to continue the inquiries anymore anyways, because her posture and responses made me feel like I was wasting her time. I'm not sure what to feel about her asking "Why would you?" several times to my conditions, to my past experience, even to just a piece of information about women's health practice that's not done in this clinic but commonly done elsewhere. Because I didn't feel much listened or attended to, I'm not sure whether I would feel safe to come back again if I have other women's health or sexual health related issues. But maybe this was just my unfortunate personal experience. *Appointment was reserved for 20 minutes. Total time spent with Dr Basma was about 10-15 minutes
