Also they tried to tell me that my HDMI port was broken and wanted around $80 to fix it (8 or so months later its completely functional never had a problem with it) I could have brought it back for them to fix it assumingely for free but I'm a hour out and I ain't got no time for that. Claim was placed with this company & Mindy jumped on immediately. She followed thru each day with what, when & where they were setting up & rep that came out was wonderful. She stayed on top of everything with Assurion & was so great in explaining steps they were resolving to get problem fixed or proper feedback expedited to Assurion, which is sometimes a nightmare dealing with the Philippines. In any event, our $3200 purchase couldn't be repaired, but we are happy that we had a company with individuals that cared about Customer Care...that's why we always get Protection Plans on all appliances, large home purchase items. I had a 3 year old 65 inch Samsung ($2,700 new) that had an ethernet port die. Called this company, quoted me a reasonable price, showed up at the agreed appointment on time and replaced the motherboard in the tv. When a secondary issue surfaced immediately after the repair he was right back at my home and effectively and efficiently resolved it. He backs up his work! This is now my go to electronics repair company and it should be yours too!
