Brisket sandwich
Tasha R.

Fast service, friendly staff, but overpriced mediocre food. Unfortunately, sandwiches are the only option we have for food with coleslaw. It would be nice if you could place orders online and pick up or get a plate without the bun or coleslaw. The brisket was very fatty. I prefer the pulled pork. Priced high, but food is quick and filling.

Tombstone grill was the best on the mountain food I've had at PC and Canyons resort. The Brisket sandwich was huge!! And the tots came out hot. The only problem is the dining area inside is super small... you most likely won't get a table and will need to eat out side. Scarf that good down quick before your tator tots start to feel like frozen hash browns. The service here was very apt, and they brought the food out quick! Great system for how crowded it gets.

The smoked wings were spicy enough to give my severely chapped lips a sizzle. Dunk that cornbread in the chili.

So Good! So worth the trek over from the Park City side of the mountain. The food was amazing. They need more seating definitely. I don't think I'd ever come back to park city and not go there for lunch. The line was long but moved super fast. 10/10

The amazing outdoor seating

Who builds a brand new central mountain food location at a major world ski resort with good BBQ but limited indoor seating? Who are the planners, same ones who create an ambience that can't compete with the antler resort 20' down the street, difference between a big corporation and a business that really takes care of its customers when you spend 200 bucks to ski! Went from a dive to brand new building and now limited indoor seating, go figure ... Fast operation as the meat is all precooked and it gets served almost as fast as they can process the orders How is it, not as good as the best in Texas but darn tasty and tender as they smoke it here out back. Order and get a buzzer and the wait for your food and circle like a vulture for any indoor seating or brave it and sit outside and hope / plan for good weather. Brisket was a solid 4 stars, tender and tasty and worthy, the cornbread was good but the coleslaw portion was skimpy and forgettable Pulled pork according to a Aggies alumni was dry and just passable and 3 stars. Total experience is 3 stars maybe even 2 the management are clueless putting such a small place at a central eating and meeting location on the mountain, stopped by again and simply horrible planning

Pulled pork sandwich with slaw and cornbread

After skiing by this slope side restaurant yesterday and getting a whiff of the yummy smells, my friends and I made it a point to ski ACROSS the mountain to eat here for lunch today. I had a tasty pulled pork sandwich that came with slaw and probably some of the best cornbread I have ever had. The wait time from ordering to pickup was super short too! If you're looking for a place to eat on the mountain, check out Tombstone Grill for sure!

Pulled Chicken breast sandwich

Lost in Park City Mountain, found this gem in "The Colony" next to the Timberline lift. Slight confusion where to order, there are 2 different sections. You order at one trailer and you pick up your food at the trailer next to it. Friendly order taker. They announce your order number over the intercom when your food is ready. Plenty of restrooms. They have some cool plastic rocking chairs to relax while enjoying the atmosphere. Ordered the beef brisket sandwich and the pulled chicken breast sandwich. Comes with cornbread and coleslaw. You can opt to have double cornbread instead of coleslaw (we're not huge fans of coleslaw). The pulled chicken breast was so tender and tasty. You can apply Tombstone BBQ sauce yourself (which I highly recommend). The cornbread comes with honey butter. It melts in your mouth. My husband stated the beef brisket was just as delicious. This is the spot to stop by after shredding the slopes!

Smoker, oh yeah!

But the service was awful! We walked in around 2 or so for lunch on a Monday. It was crowded. Several staff walked past us waiting at the counter for a seat and didn't say a peep to us. Finally a woman appeared and said she'd be with us shortly. She came back and when it asked if we could sit on the patio she told me it was closed because in the morning it had been cold. It was in the 70's at 2pm?! She sat us at a table next to a support beam and it felt very tight. Chairs were not very comfortable and the table was wobbly. It was very warm in the restaurant and very loud. We sat for 15-20 minute without a single person acknowledging us. I was about to get up and leave when finally a waitress came for our order. My husband enjoyed his Back 40 burger commenting on how juicy it was but expected more flavor. I ordered a Garden salad which was really good. Carrots were huge, tomatoes were yummy and like I said earlier the greens were so crisp and so fresh. My daughter had the chicken tenders and seriously the chicken was so tender and tasted fresh unlike grocery store chicken. The views are amazing!

The staff was friendly and attentive. I had the home run sandwich, which was very filling. The Mac and cheese and pulled pork were tasty, and it was nice that they gave extra BBQ sauce on the side. The food and cocktails were surprisingly good, which made us wonder why the reviews are only average. Pig-O-Licious ($21.50): A half-pound beef patty topped with BBQ pork, cheddar, bacon, and pickles on a brioche bun, served with chips. The name is fitting since it was a delicious burger and perfect for sharing. I could not imagine finishing it on my own and still having energy to ski. The chips were crispy and well done too. The Influencer ($18): A delicious, well-balanced espresso martini. American Mule ($15): Made with High West bourbon. Easily one of the best Moscow mules we have had in a long time. It was refreshing, smooth, and really tasty.

They're not kidding when they say their lobsters are fresh! Other than the taste, my next favorite thing about their lobster rolls is the quantity. Finally, I have found a lobster roll place that does not skimp! Truly, that fact alone makes it a rare find. Other than lobster rolls, they also serve soup, salads, crab rolls, etc. I had the lobster bisque, which wasn't bad either. The blueberry bbq chicken salad was fine. To be transparent, this place is not cheap, especially not their lobster rolls. However, they pack it on and the quality is unmatched. I wouldn't say I would dine here every due to the sheer high prices, but whenever I am in town, I always try to stop by my favorite lobster roll place ever! For reheated frozen food and needing to bus your own dishes, I was a little disappointed. Service was friendly! We came right when they opened and paid almost $300 for a meal for 6 people. The clam chowder (5/5) was flavorful and well-salted, and chockful of potatoes and meat. The bisque (3/5) was not nearly as flavorful or delicious-- it needed way more salt and creaminess. We each had either a lobster roll or lobster sliders as our main entree, but those were just pretty average lobster rolls. I think they could've been more buttery and salty. The salad that we got was really good! Overall, would not come back but happy to at least try Freshie's.
