I normally don't write reviews of gas stations but for this one I had to make an exception. My wife…read moreand I have been coming here for probably about 3 years now because we live pretty close. The Manager is really cool and so is the attendant that works at night that has a the crazy hair. The reason for the review is because, once they started selling beer/liquor. The manager knew me and my wife and we always asked him when...when...when are they going to start selling. When the time came and the vote went through, he asked us what we wanted him to sell. I told him Fat Tire and my wife rattled off a few names of wines that she drinks. Sure enough once they got their first shipment in, both of our request were stocked. Its not too often a gas station will ask you what you like to drink so they can sell it. It was a nice touch and we have been purchasing our drinks there when we don't want to go to the bar and drink. MZ

This Tetco used to be my local, back when I lived in East Dallas. I stopped in the other day and…read morenot much has changed, so it's time to fire one off. The good: Open late, although after dark you have to use the warzone-style bank drawer system to interact. Hard to believe that live oak and Carroll is still that dangerous. Awesome for the staff, but it puts you out on foot with some of east Dallas' more sketchy inhabitants. Car wash usually works, although there's usually something broken too (vacuum, air for tires, etc). Tetco has stopped pushing it's loyalty program on you while you get gas. The bad: A crime seems to be right on the verge of occurring at all times. Parking lot is an accident factory. Employees do not warn you that Shaq soda is terrible.

I absolutely love Tom Thumb's Gas Rewards program and this place is where it all comes together to…read moremake you glad that you participate in the program. The Rewatds Program allows you to earn points that you can redeem for discounts on gasoline. They offer special incentives, for example I got double points for purchasing gift cards for the people on my Christmas list. Tonight I redeemed those points and it warned me $1.00 per gallon off of my gasoline purchase. Yes, it is that simple and the result was gasoline for 1.019/gal. These days you can get gift cards for lots of stores at several grocery stores, convenience stores and evwn drug and department stores, but why, when you can earn doible points just for buying them fro Tom Thumb, would you even think about purchasing them anywhere else!
