Dr. Tom is amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his practice. I have had chronic neck and back pain for years and in just a few weeks I have felt better than I could've imagined. He is careful, professional and very thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Tom and am so happy he's in Carlsbad! read more

Best Chiropractor I have ever been to.. completely alleviated my lower back pain with a few adjustments and tips on stretching. Correctly diagnosed my problems and once even put a out of place rib back into place. Lifesaver is an understatement. The best of the best. read more

My husband and I recently started going to Dr. Tom's. He is one of the best doctors in town. He is approachable, patient, and kind. He is very knowledgeable and clear in explaining the diagnosis and treatment options. He respects his patients and never forces any treatment on us. At the beginning of each session he would spend time understanding my well-being and physical condition, and then adjust the treatment to my needs. He has made a huge difference to my well-being. Before I started to see him, my body was in so much pain that I could not get up from the bed, sit, or stand. When my husband gently touched my arm, I felt so much pain. I now see him once a week. The pain in my body is gone, and my ankles and neck have regained a greater range of motion. My body is doing so much better that I can resume exercising. His office building has free parking. If the lot is full, you can find free street parking, and metered parking. His office is very comfortable and quiet. His front desk staff is pleasant and easy to work with regarding insurance. I also love the appointment reminder text that is sent 24 hours prior to each appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Tom. read more

Dr Tom really is the greatest. When I first met him I was in constant pain, and struggling to walk. Within 6 months, I had recovered. Today I am doing normal things, such as going to the gym that I found hard to imagine at the time, and enjoying life with any pain..If you have any back problems, or sports injuries then honestly do yourself a favour and give the good doctor a call. read more

Dr. Tom is truly among the very best doctors I've ever been to. Thorough, thoughtful, passionate about helping, deeply knowledgable and kind. He's one of the very, very few doctors I've met who's really committed to his patients well being and willing to take time to deeply understand what's going on, not just do the first thing that comes to his mind. I injured my knees 10 years ago, and after going to 3 orthopedists and doing 6 months of physical therapy 2x/week with no results at all, I was blessed to be referred to Dr. Tom. In 30 minutes of careful listening and looking he was able to diagnos my issue and start a treatment plan that began working on day 1. I know at least 5 people who were referred to him by the same person who referred me and all of them absolutely swear by him. Dr. Tom is the real deal. read more

I would give Dr. Tom 10 stars if I could. He is not a typical crack, crack, off you go chiro AT ALL. He spends time with each patient, one at a time and truly deeply cares for each person. Many of the multi-room chiros are good but Dr. Tom is next level. I cannot say enough good things about him. I finally found him and have been going to him for 5 years although sometimes with nearly a year between visits. Sometimes every week for a couple months because I do have injuries. Just to say that his goal is to read more

Dr. Tom is by far the best chiro I've gone to. I have had lower back problems and feet problems that seem to have gotten worse over the last 5 years and no one has really helped address the true issues or for that matter helped me understand what was going on in my body until I went to Dr. Tom. He is not just a doctor but a teacher, in that he really cares to not only treat the problem right then and there but teach you what other issues in your body could be interrelated and what can be done holistically and long term to help address that nagging pain that seems to be localized. On top of being extremely thorough, professional, and an expert, he treats all his patients with a love and respect that is uncommon for doctors these days. Just to provide an example of how authentic and truly caring he is- one time he even called my dad to explain all of the issues that he explained to me, knowing that I had parents that were worried about my back problems living out of state. It was great knowing I had a doctor that was willing to go the extra mile for me to ensure I was comfortable with the treatment, as well as my family. I love that he's able to translate medical issues into real terms and with full transparency! read more

When I called I was in a lot of pain from a car accident and he was kind enough to call my insurance company to help me find out my co-pay and he got me in the SAME day. Overall I was really impressed with the service and care I received from Dr. and his staff. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Tom Tatasciore at Wavecrest Health Center for 10 years. He's an amazing chiropractor and healer and has helped me, my whole family, including my husband, kids, mom, siblings, and tons of my friends. He's great at quickly treating (usually in one visit) all of the normal aches and pains you'd see a chiropractor for, but also things you wouldn't think of, like, nutrition, ear infections, helping you open up your body and mind to greater creativity, life advice, colds and flu, pretty much anything. He's a natural healer, great listener, and wonderful in every way. I highly recommend Dr Tom! read more

I was having really intense lower back and hip pain for a couple months before I saw Dr. Tom. I talked to my general practitioner about it, but he just told me to rest and apply heat to it whenever I could. The pain increased, and it got to the point where I could feel various muscles tensing up in my back and pulling my spine in uncomfortable directions. It also affected my sleep, as I was only sleeping for max five hours a night. I called Dr. Tom's office and they were able to see me that day, and the first session with him was incredible. He spent over an hour with me discussing my issue and looking for the cause of the pain. We both did some exercises, adjustments to my spine, and talked about further treatment. I saw him after that as well, and along with physical therapy, I have been feeling much better. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome, caring doctor who listens to your symptoms and deeply cares about treating his patients until they feel 100 percent. Great guy and great doctor! read more

I dare you to find a more dedicated and talented chiropractor/healer. He was originally recommended to me about ten years ago when I had severe sciatica. I even first called him on a Saturday when I was in intense pain. I happened to catch him at his office on his day off. He had me come in that day. He kept me from having surgery by regularly treating me during the acute phase of sciatica. My husband, two sons and I see him on an as needed basis. His genuine care and commitment to his patients is amazing. I could not recommend him higher. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Tom for about 20 years now. When I first went to see him, it was out of desperation. I had never seen a chiropractor, but western docs had given up on my injured knee. Within weeks, Dr. Tom had me back to 100%, with orthotics, physical therapy, adjustments, and exercise. I see him now only occasionally, for any injury, and he always sets me right. I've referred countless friends to him, and he has fixed every single one, in some cases bringing relief after years of chronic pain. He is thorough, and takes great care to make sure the patient understands why pain or disease is present, the contributing factors, and is very clear about his course of treatment. Truly one of the best healers I have ever encountered. If I could give him 6 stars I would. read more

Probably the best health care provider I have ever been too. Diagnosed my problem in minutes after others were unable to figure it out. He explains what is going on in easy to understand terms and works to get you well and on your way with a reasonable number of visits. Feel that he is very honest and will not work you for more visits then you need. I get more out of seeing him once then 3 or 4 sessions with any other chiro I have been to see. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Tom's pretty much since he started his practice, thanks to his amazing understanding not only of body works, but also the gradient approach people sometimes need to find good health. He once taught healthy back classes at the YMCA - I attended and the gentle baby-step excercises he provided literally saved my life. With two young boys at home depending on me, I had to get healthy and able to run after them. And I've been hooked on Dr. Tom ever since. :-) read more

Dr. Tom, as we fondly call him, comes to our office once a week and there is always a waiting list to see him. I don't get in other people's business to know what treatments they are getting, but for me, he is a lifesaver. During my annual physical my MD recommended I get Orthotics to help straighten my feet and relieve knee and back pain I experienced every day. I had a life long condition that I was not aware of until seeing Dr. Tom. Dr. Tom fit me for custom made inserts, and within a week of wearing them everyday, I am standing straighter, I have no knee pain at all, and my back pain is less everyday. I never even thought of going to a Dr. of Chiropractic, but now can't imagine why I waited so long. Dr. Tom educates you at every step, never judges you, and never presses you to take any treatment he recommends. He lets you make the choice. I am so grateful to my employer who thinks so much of their employees to provide this exceptional benefit and with such an exceptional provider. It is really convenient to walk out of my office and go down the hall, get realigned and stretched without leaving the building. I look forward to my next visit!! read more
