Dr Kullman, before I met him had one strike against him Then my husband stated he only used an activator and I was fully skeptical. I hated activators in the past. I like my snap, crackle, pop because I can tell movement is happening. My husband requested I give him a try. And, since the most dangerous thing is a closed mind- I went in for a spin. Beyond grateful to have found his practice. After letting my husband go first, I was able to actively inquire about the why, how, and theory of what he was doing. It made sense. I got on the table. Every time I am adjusted, when I stand up I can actually sense my nervous system readjusting- through my muscles, through my perception of seeing and feeling in my body. *That* was the tangible result I could be on board with. For me, providing a good medical service isn't enough.... I want to feel like family. When I walk in I want my whole self seen, cared for, and supported. We found NuSpine Chiropractic, and they told us they had a new Oceanside location nearby and could take us immediately. We were there within 10 minutes, and they took us in right away. As new patients, they walked us through everything: an exam, adjustments, and hot and cold hydrotherapy beds. By the time we left, we were already feeling about 65-75% better than when we walked in. We came back the very next morning, and again, was able to walk in. Another adjustment and hydrotherapy session, and we walked out feeling like a million dollars. I only have good things to say about the doctors. The corporation is a different thing. I have been paying member since 2012 when it first opened. It was booming ... three doctors in the back, a competent receptionist, busy waiting room. Now... They haven't had a receptionist in two weeks. There's only one doctor as they have fired most of the other doctors, or cause them to quit because the franchise has cut their working hours so it's not worth coming in or the working salary, and benefits and conditions are so bleak. All of the receptionist have quit in the last four years. They don't pay enough. They don't give benefits. They took away their vacation hours. Hawkins corporation used to own this location. It was then sold to a franchise which owns 44 other locations. I think they bit off more than they can chew. It is my understanding they put all the chiropractors, no matter how long they have been there back to Ground Zero. No vacation, no private time, no Health Insurance until just recently, and no raises. The doctors complain that they are not in the loop about what is happening. Doctors get transferred to different locations far away from their home, there is general unhappiness everywhere. it won't be long before the best Chiropractor's at this office will quit and move on as well because they can't work in a location that makes everybody so unhappy. So this is my message to the franchise that owns this and the 44 other places; get your act together. You have a good concept, you have great prices, but your personnel management needs so much help. I don't know who is in charge because I cannot find a website, or an email or a telephone number to register my complaint. In desperate frustration I am writing this Yelp review. You are losing customers because without a receptionist they can't take new clients. The doctors are not receptionist and don't ask them to be... they are busy in the back adjusting clients.. higher enough receptionist to cover every day of the week in the front receptionist area and pay them a decent wage.
